  The problem has been resolved.

  I discovered that it was with Linux server, I could configure the Essbase server from Windows server to Windows server while it was certainly the problem of Linux.

  To solve it, I had to re - install Linux server, I configured the Essbase server and she succeeded. I don't know what was the reason for the issuance of the periphery, but I guess that there is a missing package installed on Linux server and this cause of the wrong configuration.

• Present the missing button

  hope this is the right section. I wasn't able to find this problem.

  I ve had problem with the "submit" button. In the process I assemble two documents together, so we're attached to the second. Then I use it as an entry for a user component assigns. Form should have a Submit button, which is already there. But in the workspace, after the allocation and the form, I don't see the button. I can see common button, which gives me after pressing 'Submit cancelled' error msg.

  The Submit button settings are common as the rest forms I use and work with. The button does not appear, also, when I do not use ddx component assembly.

  I was already in the situation of ´submit missing´, but this time I'm off what mistaken idea.

  If you have the bridge shape you add to your PDF file, the Send button is hidden in the workspace and the full button will be displayed in the interface of the workspace.

  Also you must make sure that the URL to submit the button submit is set to http://:/workspace-server/submit.

• Connection to multiple servers through smartview

To do this, they create a report in every environment, but I wonder; is there anyway to create a report to connect the two?   That's right, you can recover data from both at the same time.  You'd have a column where you pull in your Production data and another column where you pull in your data of development within the same Excel sheet.  Again, it is using HsGetValue, not ad hoc reports.  Maybe it's different for you, but for me, I'd go under private connections - create a new connection - select my Dev server from the menu drop-down or enter-it's to see a list of all applications on the dev server, select the application that you want to connect to, give it a name and then use that name in your formula (for example HsGetValue ("Dev" etc...).  In your other coulumn would connect you to the production in a similar way, but your forumula would be HsGetValue("Prod",etc...).

• Submit #MISSING to ASO

  Dear gurus,

  I have 2 conditions that should run when the user submits 0 and other should run when the user submits #MISSING.

  Now I'm unable to present #MISSING through SmartView to ASO, I tried removing the cell and by submitting and even trying to present #MISSING but it did not help.

  I'm something that is not possible?

  It is not possible to present a #Missing at ASO thanks to Smart View or the typical add-in in a cell containing a value before any (even zero).

  This is because these tools create an 'additional '. If you have a value of 100 in the cell and then to submit #Missing, for example, Essbase actually creates an extra cell to a value of-100. When you query you can see the total of the 100 original with differentials - 100, which is 0. You can never go back to a true #Missing. Merging the slices doesn't help either.

• ScrollBar on the presentation of the workflow element missing

  I exported a flow of work of one of our servers of 4.1.1_733 build VCO to a new server build 5.1.1_2942. This particular workflow changes the values stored in a configuration item. When you run the workflow running on the 4.1.1 server, it displays a scroll bar on the right side of the presentation-it missing on the 5.1.1 window server, so you cannot access certain values. Anyone know what might be missing? I don't see a property within the WF to set anything for this. Thank you.

  I'll let Burke reproduce this test. As a work around you can add steps / groups in your presentation.

• SmartView 11.1.1.3 access Oracle Essbase

  Hyperion Planning 11.1.1.2 Application created. I have created several forms of data. Able to open fact data through SmartView and data are correct. Interested in connection Essbase to use Ad - Hoc Reporting. I make the connection to Oracle Essbase and forest down to the application databases. I select record application and the POV window appears. I am able to select members to identify the members of my report. When all have been selected, I hit refresh, but no data appears. I use the Admin login to perform these steps. Is there a missing step or the required security settings. On my data form for the record, I am able to see all the data.

  The first thing I would check would be possibly option "navigate without data. If it is enabled, disable it could make a difference.

• SmartView #Value!

  Hello

  I am unable to display cell data when I connect to planning through smartview, I'm #Value! error in my spreadsheet

  Where any other user with the same level of security is able to get data from the same sheet of my machine, so options and settings all looks good.

  I know that if cell formula and not calculated because of another reason, then this error will be displayed for specific cell, but my case I see only #VALUE! not all data.

  What could be the cuase of the question?

• SmartView Essbase connection on the default port, must connect to 6423

  Hi all

  We have Hyperion 11.1.2.2.30x installed and configured with full SSL everywhere.  With this, we have Essbase successfully listening on 6423 (6423 only, we have disabled 1423) safely and all components (planning, EN, Calcmgr, etc.) are in communication with success too.  Thereby when attempting to connect to Essbase via SmartView, we receive an error stating ' unable to communicate to < essbaseservername >:1423.  The issue is that SmartView trying to connect on the default port (1423) instead of the safe harbour 6423.

  In environmental assessment, we have added a provider using the secure connection (< essbaseservername >: 6423: secure) that we are able to use in environmental assessments, but in SmartView is always looking for 1423.  No idea where this becomes SmartView and or how I can get it to connect to 6423?  Thanks in advance for any help you are able to provide.  In addition, all other connections through SmartView (SSL) are able to connect successfully.

  If SSL is enabled by the EMP for Essbase configurator and the value of setting SSL configuration in the essbase.cfg then when you connect to Essbase in Smart View the safe option should be available for example "EssbaseCluster-1: SURE.

  Hsdescription is not supported by connection of planning.

  You can use it with Essbase connection.

  You cannot use the add-in classic spreadsheet (Excel) if that's what you are referring.

  As indicated in the other post, it works through Smart View.
