  • Do not spend money for the color sensor. Buy a sensor of external color that you can use the laptop monitor and your internal display.
  • Why do you have 32 GB on the W530 mSATA? Go with an SSD as a single disc, or go with an SSD in the main Bay and the HARD drive in an adapter ultra bay. I don't think that the 32 GB mSATA is logical from the financial point of view as a disk cache only.
  • Do you need the cam on the on the W530, which should save money as well.

  2000M (W520) vs... K1000M (W530)

The user interface of the application has an option to activate this automatic function on and outside.   I waited for someone to answer, but no luck so far.

  I think that, maybe, the question is too broad, but you hit on a lot of issues that I tried to respond in support of my own digitization projects. These are essentially old photos and family concert tickets, I've gathered that I want to geocode instead and add an event date to sort the pictures correctly in my reader, I now use pictures all to also store the main images in the form of files in folders.

  One of the first things that you need to consider what is my final use, how will be I be display these carelessly or what their final destination, that is to say: the screen or print. Next, you will need to examine and decide what are your basic quality standards.  Is it an archiving project where you might want to get the maximum resolution to capture your images or you are looking for very high resolution - pixel specific pick - and go deep with it.  What types of files you save; jpg or RAW or another.

My family photos I usually sort in events and it is pretty easy because the images were of particular type of event and then something holidays. So I in my folder of photos folders called things like:

  etc with this kind of naming structure. months of the year and day, if I know that it and the event.

  The photos then if there are few have specific names for files. If it is more like '1986_07-Florida_ #1-72' and let the meter. I used the disk utility and checked everything (not verified, no repair required). As I obviously have a problem, I made a Time Machine backup to a WD 1 TB hard drive external and downloaded EtreCheck-2... I ran it at least five times in the course of a few days and whenever he found between 20 and 109 errors and I get unable to drive! Message. If there is a chance the drive is NOT the issue, I want to help out but don't know where to start... since I was a backup Time Machine recently can I wipe the drive and reinstall? Space seems to be a problem... plan to move photos from k 8 currently on my machine to the external hard drive. Also removed apps that I don't use, but I see pieces on the EtreCheck that I can't purge (Motorola, Jaksta). Any advice would be helpful... Most recent EtreCheck shown below.

  (1) I have little experience, I'm sure compared to most of the users on this forum; However, in the College computer Programmning.

  ---> Very adept in acquireing newly introduced information & request a great sense of understanding of puzzled, abstract and largely serious concepts. (It will be just a little easier than most to explain a simple fix).

  (2) I deleted all partitions, including the system files, System opperating, some methods of starting, all the drivers, and to add to the mess, the existing partitions are not yet check the size or formatting - I'm sure.

  ---> (Drive C is 400 GB;) Drive D is the main partition with only 20 GB)

  (3) any chance of installation/download are only feasible when my boyfriend does everything it does and 'fixed' the laptop.

  ---> Cell phone MAY start, can use internet and MAY be able to download 5 pictures before the system shuts down and the other requires a few hours to wipe the minimum amount of space on the hard disk before you reinstall Windows.

  (4) Windows 7 is the only OS (so far) that we are able to install; We have no other disks, but Windows 8.1, I think, was the original Opperating system and look forward to this return.

  (5) I don't know yet how I will receive notification here on these forums. I'm drunk at 05:59, so I'll find out tomorrow.

  What will work restores your computer to its original factory state using HP recovery media.  It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs.  You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

• Layout error blue screen. Need help to reload Windows

  I bought a refurbished IBM thinkpad T42 for my grandson through a 3rd party work.  When you turn on it, a blue screen with lots of writing, hot flushes, too fast to read, then goes to a screen where you can start windows normally or in safe mode.  Neither work.  When I contacted the company, they told me I need to reload the operating system and gave my a drive backup.  The backup drive asks the number 25 position at the bottom of the laptop, but this number fails.  I am not a Curmudgeon and am at a loss to know what to do.  He has had the laptop for less than 60 days.  Thank you.

  This is the thing:

  If you want to reinstall Windows, the XP Pro TYPE must match! So, if your license (as indicated by the COA sticker) is for the OEM version of XP Pro, then the key on your COA sticker will not work unless the CD is a generic OEM XP Pro installation CD. SO, if it is a commercial or a Volume License version, it won't work.

  Also, you say that this PC has been "renovated". Therefore, guess what is currently on this subject!

  The person who sold this PC is obliged to provide you with the means to restore the PC to its original state; you paid for it!

• Sansa clip cracked screen and need help turning repeat stop

  My screen is cracked and I can not afford a new mp3. Unfortunately, it's the repeat mode 1 song when he cracked.  I just need a procedure step by step to how to repeat offshore.  I don't see any of my screen. I would also like to know how I could put it on playall instead of just a song mode.  I tried to reset it but it doesn't work. I'll be away from my own computer for a few months, so I would rather not format because I lose my original songs that I have on this subject.  I also have an audio book on it then a procedure step by step on access which will be useful also.

  Starting point:   When I turn on my video it automatically starts playing my last song and obeys the shuffle / repeat options.

  By pressing the menu key small I will be positioned on the music

  Music (headphone icon) ... If I click the bottom , I get the following menus:

  FM radio

  Voice

  Parameters

  Music (back to music again)

  If I click Select on the music , I get the following features:

  Play all

  artists

  Albums

  Songs

  Kind

  My best rated

  Playlists

  Podcasts

  Audio books

  records

  Music options

  Play at all (and back to play at all)

  If I'm playing together and the song: each arrow pointing down will give you the following:

  Back to the list of music

  Add song to Golist

  Rate song

  Shuffle (stop / market)

  Repeat (All, Off, song) *.

  Music EQ

  Clear Golist

  Delete the song

  Back to the list of music (then return to the list of music once again)

  If in this menu, I click on the right arrow on repeat * for every time I press the right arrow key, I turn the 3 following options

  All the

  Off

  Song

  Allows you to start with the Clip off: so: If your clip is on... turn it off...

  If your clip is now disabled, start by putting on:

  then click on the small menu button

  then click Select

  then click Select again to play all the music

  Wait a few seconds and the songs should begin to play.   or if its on UN-pause pause, there click on place

  To change the repeat function: while playing a song...

  Click Select

  click the bottom 5 times

  then to change click on repeat right options will be all out, song and start over with all, off, again song.    This will start with whatever the currently set option.

  So if his game to repeat the song. click on the right change to repeat all, right click to change to repeat Off

  Click Select = the middle button on wheel
