  If you have symbols of button on the stage to the next and previous, each of these symbols has an instance name with a listener event attached to it. The event listener is linked to a mandate. You can have a single event point to a function. So for example, if you have a next button and a click event that points to a function that says something like nextFrame(); and then you want to use the next button to point to a function that says something like nextScene(); you will need to use another instance of this next button and have this different instance to use a different event handler to point to a different function. • Objects in different layers has changed position when I open the project file, why? Can I remedy in a fast way and not painful?

  Im making an animation frame-by-frame and today when I opened my objects of som of the project had changed position while others do not. This countinues throughout the chronology and sometimes they change position.

  I think it has something to do with me changing the size of the documents. But it didn't happen yesterday when I made the change, just today when I opened the file again, and I can't change it back and make things right.

  If anyone knows what happened and if I can fix it, it would mean a LOT to me.

  There are really no way around to back up your files regularly.

  Flash is unfortunately not the most stable program.

  Make it a habit to save a new version every half hour, or so, which will limit your losses.

  Think of it as a "warning shot" and consider yourself lucky that you have not the famous "flash could not open the file" message ;-)

  I got the cover of the keyboard (not cheap but decent), and I use it everytime I open my macbook.

  However, I heard that it would be dangerous to leave the keypad cover when you close the macbook. Because it could hurt the sensitive retina screen.

  Is this true?

  Is it safe to leave the cover on my keyboard when I close the macbook? It's a little annoying move coverage of my keyboard everytime I have my macbook to opening / closing.

  I have used Moshi Clearguard kb current covers on two MacBook Pro, including retina mid-2014, I usually use closed with my Apple display 27 ". I put KB covers on as soon as I bought computers and have never deleted without fingers never touched my keys. I did it because I saw how dirty the kbs in the Apple Store, and the seller told me that once the black keys are oily, it is impossible to clean completely. I started with a silicone rubber cap. Three weeks later, I threw it in disgust and I bought a Moshi to replace.

  Moshi rugs are much thinner and lighter than the silicone rubber ones more adapted, hold their shape better, stay clear longer and are much easier to clean and type through. In addition to the one on my computer Ko, I keep one on the external Apple wireless keyboard which is always exposed on my desk. These caches really keep particulate crud, and they do not interfere with my typing at all. When they are dirty, I rub it in the sink with a detergent and a brush to vegetables, and when possible discoloration becomes noticeable after three or four years, I replace it with new ones.

  My previous MBP, a Core 2 Duo late 2008 unibody model, allows to get much hotter than my current on occasion, and I fear sometimes that heat buildup between the lowercase and the display closed would cook the KB cover or even the screen itself. But that never happened, but I guess it might have helped if any yellowing of the coverage.

  If use you Moshi hiding for seven years, I would never consider a time using a silicone back cover. I did not, and you shouldn't worry about all to close your view on a Moshi.

• Actions and Variables are duplicated when I create the new model project

  My organization uses a standard model for our courses.  In this model, I added a few variables and advanced actions to enable to the learner to customize the course a bit and support our "test-out" option

  What I found however, is that when I create a new project of this model that all stocks advanced and variable are... reproduce some several times.

  Unfortunately, this is a known issue.  I pointed out about it here:

  As far as I know, the problem persists even in Captivate 9 If you create a template that has advanced Actions, and these actions are used by no slides in this model.  When you create a file CPTX of this model, Variables and advanced Actions are duplicated by about the same number of times that the advanced initial Action is used.

  You can test this by creating a simple project with two blades, a variable and a Standard Action that affects this variable with values. Define the event on slide enter on the second slide to run the Standard Action. Save the project as a model CPTL and then use this model to start another project CPTX file.  When you check the list of Variables and advanced Actions you will find that there is a duplicate of each.

  I am able to insert a PDF file as an object in Word, but the image quality is a bit fuzzy.  Is this what I can adjust in order to improve the clarity of the image in Word?

  Microsoft Office Windows applications provide no real mechanism for the placement of full quality PDF content. When you try to import a PDF, which you end up is a resolution of the screen, the representation of the raster image low quality of the PDF file that you import, not original and high quality content. In simple terms, Microsoft Office cannot process the imagery model rich PDF, only raster images and vector graphics paralyzed WMF and EMF formats. Sorry!

• Laptop shuts off and turns on when I close the lid

  Hi, I just bought a HP Pavilion 15-n253sv and I noticed that when I close the lid its turns off instead of getting in standby mode. Also when I stopped it, and then I close the lid it lights up. Its like the on off button. Is it a hardware problem that I must return the laptop? I checked out the settings and it is said that when the lid is closed it just goes to the standby mode. I have win 8.1.

  If I understand you correctly, your computer shuts down when you close the lid, and if it is turned off and you close the lid it lights.  I think you are right to think it's a hardware problem. • The mouse freezes at startup properly off. Mouse only thaws and works correctly when I hold the power button to stop and turn back.

  I just got a new Inspiron 1545 computer 2 weeks ago and it works fine but I got a problem for the last two days where my mouse will freeze after that I stopped it using the stop option. When my computer starts you can move the mouse, but after a few seconds, it freezes, and you can't move the mouse but the keyboard works. I try to restart the computer with the option to reboot from the start menu and when it starts up to the top of the mouse freezes still. No matter how many times I try to stop or restart properly mouse unlock not. It only works if I stopped it by pressing the power and then switch on again. Any ideas as to what I could do to fix this?

  The sad truth is that the mouse freeze problem is back. I searched the forum for other solutions, but so far without success.

  I am currently using MS Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 and just to make sure that the problem is with the mouse, I inverted this mouse on my other laptop which works also on Windows 7. Mouse freeze problem is replicated, which never happened before for my other laptop.
  Conclusion, until Microsoft is able to solve this problem, I opted for Logitech. I bought a Logitech M235 wireless mouse last night and keep your fingers crossed that the mouse freeze problem will disappear.
  Life is too short to be stressed more mouse freeze problem.
