Press OK to print a page

I use third-party print cartridges in my HP Office Jet 6500 has. If I have a document with several pages to print, I have to press 'OK' before each page is printed. Is there a way to avoid this. I often print large documents and unless this problem can be solved, I'll have to buy a printer from another manufacturer.

All solutions? Suggestions?

I am trying to print a page of a web page. If I check, 'reduced to fit' print / page setup, I get the whole page but small enough to be useless. How to print the whole page in a reasonable size?

If Firefox does not use the entire sheet of paper, it can result from Firefox after having extracted the Windows incorrect paper size settings when reading data from the print driver. Compensation it may involve conclusions some mask parameters, but here goes:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste print and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) for each parameter which specifically mentions the problem printer, right click and reset The fastest way is to click with the mouse and press the r key on the keyboard with your other hand.

Note: In a few discussions involving Brother printers, printer_printer_name.print_paper_data preference was established in 256 and when the user changed it to 1 which, in itself, solve the paper size. If you are using a Brother printer and see a 256 here, you can change the value by double-clicking it or by using the right click > modify.

    Any improvement?

  • 6500 accepts the print job, but prints blank pages - even in copy mode

WOW! At least temporarily, my solution is press Setup (the key) right arrow to TOOLS #6 tab. type OK.
    Tab
(# 2) clean the print head. Hit OK. If all goes well, take a step back, let the process and be surprised. A second test may be necessary.
It works at least for a day. Maybe it's your solution.  Jesus is our only hope!

  • PSC 1510 guard printing alignment pages, won't allow me to use scanner

My 1510 keeps printing alignment pages (or gives me an error of paper output).  I do not use the color cartridge and haven't for a long time.

Now when I try to scan a document it says that something is in control of the scanner (probably the alignment process).   I put the fininsh the alignment process page, but he just keeps trying to print an alignment page.

How can I disable alignment 'characteristic '?  I'm starting to think that the only purpose of this feature is wasting ink HP.

    Hello

The alignment process designed to ensure optimal print quality, black ink and color are necessary to complete the alignment process, otherwise it runs aground.

I'm afraid that the model does not circumvent the alignment process, thus getting a new color cartridge essencial in order to complete the alignment process, otherwise the printer will keep pritnign the sheet at the start of the device.

You can try to print an alignment sheet and press several times the button cancel during the pritning of the page, I think that it can cancel the process then and allow you to scan, however the same will have to be repeated after the printer is restarted.

  • and installed this (I think). Printer seemed to work. Now say "impossible filter. sometimes footprints of Safari, but no word. Sometimes, it prints a page when I turn printer on and outside. It's crazy to do. Thank you.

I have a MacBook Air. I use OS x El Capitan V10.11.12. 3 days ago, I installed a printer Epson L355. Everything seemed fine, when I first printed a few pages. I installed the driver delivered with printer and followed the Mac set up. The process has not completely finished the whole upward. I then found a Mac driver Mac page and installed (I think - how will I know?) and it seemed ok. When I used it the next day I kept getting message "filter failed" when you try to print from wifi. There is a strong wifi signal and scanning is ok. I can sometimes print a page of safari, but not from Word. I tried to delete and add printer's done everything to nothing. get him looking for a printer then message "filter has failed", with the printer in the "inactive"

Can someone help me please? I'm getting worried and frustrated in equal measure. I'm not a techie and really evil.

The message failed filter keeps the driver having problems of compatibility with the operating system and not the network connection to the printer. You mentioned with the driver supplied with your printer. This is linked from a previous version of Mac OS X, because sellers do not tend to get the latest drivers on the CD supplied with the printer. And then you install another driver, you can have caused even more conflict. So I would recommend that you delete the printer Printers & Scanners and then using the Finder, select go > go to folder, and then type/Library/Printers/Epson and press the Go button. This will take you to the Epson folder that has all the files in the printer driver. Select all the files and then trash them. Then, restart your Mac and when you are logged in, go to the Epson website and find the L355 printer driver that supports OS X 10.11. Download and install this driver, and then add the printer via Printers & Scanners again. Then see if you can print.

Is there something I can do to remedy to this please?

    Thank you, Shaz.

Problem on this model.  The drive tray 2 roller is probably worn out and must be replaced. Just do a search on google for the maintenance manual as instructions are in the manual. Rollers can be purchased online:

  • Paper to print web pages

Impossible to print the paper copy of the web pages of IE10 on my officejet pro 8600 printer wireless (Wi - Fi).  It will allow me to print to a PDF file, fax.  Before that I could with IE9 and a J6480 officejet which was connected via an Ethernet cable at the time.  I can print anything else (word, excel, e-mail, etc.) with the exception of my browser.  I press the file > print > select printer (Officejet pro 8600 (network)), and then print.  Some of my web pages have a button print a Page, and even that does not work.  My OS is Windows 7

I put the program (IE 10) to run as an administrator, even if I am logged on as administrator! Right-click on the IE icon on the taskbar, right click on Internet Explorer, click Properties, on the shortcut tab, click Advanced, and then check on run as administrator. Now, I have no problem to print now. Problem solved.

  • Best print quality page

How stop the page "for best print quality, place the page on the glass and press a button to copy" print whenever I turn on printer? It is a waste of ink! I did face it once, as advised. Model HP deskjet 2540. Thank you very much

    Hi bze.

To ensure high-quality prints, the printer performs an automatic alignment semi process every time you install or replace the cartridges. The product prints a page of alignment in this alignment process. To complete the process, you need to place the page alignment on the glass of the scanner and scan the page. If you don't analyze the alignment page, the continuous product to print an alignment page whenever you turn on or turn off the product until complete you the process of alignment complete .
  • How to change the printing order page for a 8600 more on an iMac

How can I change the order in which the pages printed on and the iMac?  Print the pages in reverse order (last page 1) and I need some do print in regular order (page 1).  Could not find a way to do that, am very frustrated!  Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.  I am owner of an all in one printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus.

I'm sorry you have a problem with the print commands.

There should be an option when you click on print. Another window will appear until you press on print again.

It should be a box that gives you the order of the pages (1,2,3---3,2,1). Juice change the order.

If only you do not have this box, you can always try uninstalling and reinstalling the software and drivers.

  • PSC 1350 prints a page of test every time he gets on' "

PSC 1350 father prints a test page whenever he gets on' ', waste of paper and ink, and it drives me crazy whenever I come to visit!  Is there a way to disable this feature?

It is currently under Vista Home premium on an HP desktop computer, but I think he has had the same problem when using XP on an old computer.

The 'test page' has "to get the best quality, follow the steps using this sheet" printed in English in the top left of the page and printed in 8 other languages. Below is a series of three stages of instruction photos, one-third is a finger pressing a black button at the bottom of the row of buttons.  The rest of the page, about 2/3 of the page, is a series of black, grey and yellow lines.

After printing the map must be loaded into the scanner and you press the button as shown on the sheet to complete the alignment process.  When the alignment is complete, it will not print another page of alignment until the next time that a cartridge is replaced.

  • Color LaserJet CP1025: printer prints one page and then stops

I've had my printer for several years. Now, when I try to print a multiple-page file, it prints a page and stops. I need to print each page individually. It is never used to do this.

    Hey @Egolioxon,

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

I understand that you have a problem of partial print job when you use your HP LaserJet Pro CP1025 colour printer.  I would like to help.

First of all, I recommend to run you HP and Scan Doctor for Windows printing.  You can click here to install it.  This utility can find and fix what is sick of your configuration.  In addition, if this approach does not help, I suggest to work your way through the steps listed in this article from HP.  She is expected to rule out possible problems of print queue.  Finally, it won't hurt to empty your temporary files, as explained below:

    Clear the Temp folder:

    1. Open your Start menu and in the box "search programs and files", type %temp% , and then press enter.
    2. When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard
    3. Once everything is highlighted in the Temp folder select "delete" on your keyboard to delete the files in the Temp folder. No files and folders on your computer will be deleted. This only deletes temporary files. If a file is always be used by a program on your computer, you'll be up the pop to 'jump' the item.
    4. Once the temporary files are deleted to close the window
    5. On your desktop, right click on the recycling bin and select empty recycling bin

Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post.  If I helped you to solve the problem, feel free to give me a virtual h.o.t. by clicking the "Thumbs Up" icon below and by clicking to accept this solution.

Thanks again for your post and have a great day!

  • HP 2540_Keeps Print Test page

    Hello.

I have myself treated right I mean on a wireless printer. HP2540.

It works fine except that it

KEEPS PRINTING TEST PAGE almost everytime I turn it on?

Help! I looked in the settings, properties etc... don't see anything that could help.

    Thank you!

    Kim in N.C.

Hi Kim and thank you for the reply!

In my view, that the question seems to have disappeared for the moment.  If it does not return, I recommend you follow the instructions: "for a better quality of impression, place this page on the glass and then press a button to copy."

This will ensure that the printer is aligned and your ink is used effectively, thus to prevent this return message.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
