• OfficeJet Pro 8000 prints multiple pages of the same document

  When a job is sent to the printer (web, Word, Acrobat, etc.) the printer keeps printing multiple pages of the document.  Sometimes it will print the first page and a second partial page, then it reprinted again and stop at the same place on the partial page.  She does over and over again.  I ran the HP Diagnostic Utility and it was impossible to print a test page, even after turning the power on power off, then on.   Any suggestions, or is * another * bad printer?  The first was sent and replaced, so I think that this model is just a lemon.

  Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work.  I tried to reinstall the driver altogether package three times with no result.  I ran the utility programs that supposedly allows you to solve problems, but public services could not even to generate a test page.

  It seems that I finally found a solution, however.  I installed an older driver for MS Vista 64-bit, and that seemed to do the trick.

  I just moved my printer/copier/scanner/fax, E910 Officejet 7500 has on one side of my office to another.  In the process the power and USB cables have been disconnected.  Same USB cable as before, connected to the same port on the computer.<3 meters="">

  Re-installed software CD.   Downloaded updates.  Several files in the HP folder are displayed with today's date, so clearly that something happened with the update.

  Printer is now recognized and will display the files on the computer.

  Photocopier creates copies.

  ... Scanner not scan.

  When a document is placed in the tray sheet or on the glass, "no computer detected" error message is displayed on the HP device.  [Note: this computer can send commands successfully, if clear communication goes]

  On the computer, when the devices are searched and displayed, the HP device appears with any other printers/Fax.  Scanner is not mentioned here - but when the details are drilled for, said that it's in the category 'printers, scanners '.

  Googling suggested tool print and scan doctor, so I went to that and downloaded.  When you click on it to run it, it says that (paraphrase) some files are missing, wants to download them (value 121 mB).   Firmware has been day t0 then did a hard reset and tested a fax. seems to be faster, but was not a very detailed page. will be able to say when I have more pages to send. If this is no better at this moment, will post back.

  I understand that the printer starts a sequence of cleaning from time to time, which uses ink. I wonder what is happening to the ink. It moves to a "cesspool" of sorts, and whether itself needs cleaning occasionally?

  Officejet 7500 has been evaluated for a duty cycle of up to 7000 pages per month.  With a standard 12 month warranty, this would imply a guaranteed page 84K service.

  Personally, I would not add a drain system, there are probably other things that would wear until the capacity of the station would become a problem.  (For example, the coding Strip would probably need cleaning or replacement, see the post here)

  I suggest do things to minimize ink spit in the service station:

  • Keep the printer plugged in to an outlet. If an external passes as an output switch is used more ink will be used at startup.
  • Don't run don't not cleaning cycles since the Panel Toolbox or before if necessary (very rare).

  There is no full feature software and drivers available directly from HP on this printer and operating system.

  However, there is a driver by Apple which gives basic printing and scanning capabilities, you can download this driver by accessing this Web site, HP v3.1 for OS X printer drivers.

  OfficeJet 7500 has. When do face or scanning through feeding, copying or scanning has a vertical line from the top to the bottom, near the Center. When explorations or copies are made from the plateau, this line does not appear. We have cleaned the rollers and separator, but we always get this line in the middle.   I uninstalled everything related to my HP printer (in the Device Manager: printers and print queues) and searched my computer for everything related to my HP printer and deleted stuff also. Then I reinstalled the drivers and software from the HP website. I have updated Java also (I have no idea how much this has to do with my impression). I have my printer is off and unplugged for one minute before Relighting. I restarted my computer and now it seems to be printing normally. Praise the LORD!

  • Have you checked the preview before printing before printing from the web?

  • Is the printer connected to the network?

  • Are you facing this problem when printing from Internet Explorer only, or is it with all the programs?

When you print multiple pages on my Office Jet 8000, first & last pages are not bad, but the Middle pages are too weak to read. I initially set for last page of print jobs.   Test pages are fine. I am using genuine HP 940 X cartridges.  I print only 'black '.
