  Using Captivate 3.0. I have recorded a demo and am editing some captions generated, I want "BOLD" of certain words. If I make a change, then go back later to edit the legend again, even if I make any changes, the "BOLD" returned to the text not fat. If I in italics or underline a Word when I edit the entire text is now italicized and underlined. Is there a parameter doing this? I do not have anything with the settings button, apply it everywhere is not controlled.

  You see a feature that appeared with the latest patch to Captivate. I was informed by Adobe to inform the group here that they will issue another patch to fix this quickly. A 'patch for the patch' If you want to.

• Why did I get a notification saying "automatic downloads are not enabled on this unit, to allow them to go store parameters.

  I received a notification on my iphone saying "automatic download are not enabled on this unit, to allow, travel to store settings" is a normal notification because its never blown upward before and I had the phone for a year, the notification also happened on my ipad recently as well (well enough a day after notification jumped on my phone). Sorry if I seem paranoid I just hope that theres anything malicious on my device and the security has not been compromised.

  I don't want this available until volume wherever I actually backup, in order to avoid the possibility of a virus attack.

  A flight-mount batch file or the script running duing/after starting would be acceptable, but I prefer the volume is not available for the system until the mount-flight command is issued once the operating system is started.

  I need an example of a batch or a script that I can use for both assemble and disassemble.

  A mountvol running at startup batch file would be acceptable, I could always turn up the volume later if necessary.

  If I have a folder (or file) that is designated read-only, can I deselect it, apply, get out, pull up the properties close and it will be underlined again by itself.

  All my folders are defined in read-only on my desktop and I can't do everything to zero. They all come back to read only by themselves. Also, maybe the difference between files and folders, but my file Number boxes are put in evidence and files boxes RO are archived

  You need a control total and perhaps owner changes.  Are they really read-only when opened (or you are actually able to change or revise their despite the highlight or the box)?  This applies only to folders and desktop files or other files and folders as well (like those in your Documents folder)?  In Vista, a LOT of files and folders are marked read only intentionally by the program (unlike XP) for prevent editing system and other files/folders that should not be changed (at least not unless carried out by experts or management to experts).  This is usually not does not apply to office supplies (except maybe the settings.ini which you should leave alone).

  Once you have the full control permissions and full ownership (and have replaced the permissions inherited from the folder parent in the Advanced Properties section) then you should be able to make the changes you want.

• Application installs the device but not visible

  Hey there everyone,

  I have a small application that uses GPS and connects to a server using HTTP. When you are testing in Eclipse with the emulator, everything works perfectly. However what over-the-air installation of the Unit indicates that application installed successfully, but another, under Options > Advanced Options > Applications, I can't find the app anywhere. Also, I can't delete the app from the phone.

  I then tried to make a more installation of air using the emulator and then saw that during the installation, I get an IllegalArgumentException followed by a NullPointerException followed, successfully installed. No idea what could be the cause of the difference? No idea how one can go about fixing this problem?

• movie maker 2012 16:9 rendering errors

  I hope you guys can help

  I used Movie Maker for years now, makig Time Lapse movies fropm photos

  After the new update, the film hovers between widescreen (16:9 & 4:3) - prior to the rendering of that all the photos go to the 4:3 format and normal despite being created in a 16:9 format - I have same resizeda ll of the pictures to try to resolve the problem without success

  On most of makes it, I get the video showing some photos of 4:3 16:9 and a few, so it seems to jump around :/

  Also which edition titles, legends etc new version not larger screen to the editing area, the preview at the box at the top left - which makes it impossible to publish the titles and refine.

  The system is Windows 7 x 64 on Intel Core i7, 16 GB of Ram with all the latest drivers, BIOS etc.
  Please keep in mind, I'm not new to this app, and before the update, this worked fone as I had used 2 weeks before :)

  I have over 25 years IT experience too, so I checked all the usual questions - drivers, etc - everything works fine, the CUDA on the GTX card works in other applications (not the MM uses)

  What a search application in fact a protected document depends on the application of the research. But many of them follow this rule. The first step in the research is to extract text.   Acrobat Pro can and you should not have had any problems.

  If you don't have any mount options, you are either not using Acrobat Pro or on the document, there is security that prevents editing.

  Or, it may depend on the pdf and what type of installation, you try to do it. If you try to change the text and does not let you, it could be a scanned image of the text. If this is the case, start character recognition in Acrobat Pro.

• Several slideshows of language

  I need to create multiple versions of a slide show with subtitles in different languages. I placed all the images in this slideshow in different collections, hoping that the changes for captions are only effective in the collection where they have been applied. This is not the case. A modification applied to a legend is made to all copies of the images in the catalog. Is there a way to get around this?

  Nevermind, I found that a virtual copy won't let me edit the legend without changing the text in the original file.

  Some of the typical causes of this error are:
  1 database column is of type CHAR (?) and forms is of type VARCHAR2 (?). As CHAR() pads type, the length of the Forms data will be cut padded spaces of the value of data when the column is queried in the form. The solution is to update the VARCHAR2 database column so that the data are not completed.
  2 database trigger on the table changes the data in the INS, the UPD treatment or if you have a Post-Ins/Upd trigger that changes the data in the table. The solution is to clear the block and update or change your processing logic to prevent editing the table.
  3. after query trigger on the data block changes something in the base table. The solution is to eliminate the process after query that updates your block element.

• Will only open in read-only mode

  I created a PDF to a Word document in Adobe Acrobat Professional 10.1.1. When I opened the PDF it will only open in read-only mode.  I want to change the security settings to prevent editing before I send it but the file > properties > Security > > security method is gray and the value "no security".  I tried certifying and signing the document and even put in an envelope with no luck.

  In Adobe Acrobat format, I found a solution.  Edit > Preferences > Documents/a view Mode I chose 'Never' to view documents in PDF/A mode.  It took care of my issue.

  We have a confidential 300-page PDF, and the people here are super paranoid someone will it alter or remove the watermark "confidential."  I informed them of the "encrypt with password" feature which prevents editing, but they are uneasy about the fact that these Adobe security settings are not supported in other publishers of PDF/viewers.  They proposed to turn it into an image, but then got scared when I told him OCR.

  I think I already know the answer to this... but is there a way to make sure that no one can modify the PDF in ANY software?  If not, is the most effective password?  Or does just print and send... (they are paranoid that someone will change the watermark on it too).

  Even if they distribute the document to someone, someone could create a fake. If they're that paranoid, it would be preferable to hire legally binding agreement with the people they distribute to. Something like an NDA.

  Is it possible to prevent edit them or modify a document, etc., without attributing a password?  I want to file a document to the Court through the electronic filing but I do not want to scan the original document to prevent editing, I would say just enough the original PDF.  When it is filed in electronic form, the document must be available for viewing without password.  Help, please!

  This type of security does not require a password to open the file. It should be only the password if they want to change the file.
