  You need to listen for events from the Application window and avoid that event by default to work.

• How can I prevent resizing a Panel for InDesign?

  I wrote an Extension Panel to InDesign using the 5 CS SDK.

  I want to warn the user to resize the Panel. For example, the Kuler Panel does not change the width or the height reduction until the widgets are in cahoots.

  I specified minWidth and minHeight in the < mx:Application > tag, but it gets ignored.

  What I am doing wrong?

  In the manifest file if you specify a minimum and maximum width & height, the Panel is not resizable.

  I'm having a problem trying to develop custom controls and expand my GUI beyond the default options Labview.  I'm using a Visio flowchart to illustrate an industrial process.  I encountered a problem trying to add items such as indicators of tanks to the façade.  To do this, I'm importing Visio images, in photoshop and then saving them as png to maintain transparency.  The problem I have is that when I drop this file .png on the front panel and resize, Labview seems to be falling pixels and cut the edges of my image.  This seems to happen on which corner I resize the base.

  I have the same problems with the .gif files.  I have reviewed the various .png and .gif export options, and I don't see anything that I'm missing.  I don't have a problem with JPEG files, so it must be something related to transparency.  Is this a known problem or there at - it a labview option, I'm missing?  I am currenlty using Labview 2010 SP1.

  Given that I'm still in phase of my development of gui layout, I don't know the exact dimensions of all my items and I was hoping I'd be able to resize it as I'm going to and not to be completely locked in at custom controls.  Any idea would be appreciated.  I searched the forums, but all the questions that I could find were mostly programmatically resizing problems.

  One option, you can try exporting the EMF or WMF image. LV should be able to import that, and because it is a vector format, in my opinion, it should also resize correctly.

  Another alternative is to draw in BT itself, either decorations or control of image to draw programmatically (although you should be aware that this option can have performance issues).

• Is there a way to prevent resizing of the video chat?

  When do a video chat with one person, said the person to see my fine video stream, which is 16:9. See display full, and all the text on both sides of the screen. Problem is when some other join in the video chat, Skype is resized or cultures my flow for them and they do not see the entire screen, and they can read the text on the sides more.   1. the easiest way would be to call the second front panel as a Subvi, but I'm not like that because as a Subvi the user did not click the buttons or have any input.

  2 another way would be to use a queue of LabVIEW for transmitting data of the main VI to the Subvi; in this way the two panels could have their own loop of the user interface.

  3. is there a better way?

  It depends on your data, but I recommend the queues or user events to send your data on another the VI.

  My VI has a sup with a front panel Sub panel vi is inside.  When I build my application the sub Panel is no longer visible.  How to make it stand?

  Change your build spec and mark these sub - VI as dynamic and make sure their FP is included.

• resizing of the main panel - is it possible?

  I want the main panel of my application to resize automatically at first upward, according to which the hardware is connected.

  Do I have reason to believe that the correct command for this is SetCtrlAttribute?  I can't try to find what Panel manage fine.  The main Panel has the default handle "panelHandle" and the PANEL controlID.  I tried panelHandle and 0 as arguments for the handful of Panel, but in both cases I get errors not fatal runtime performance.  I have not edited the header file for the IUR at all.

  DEP stopped nvidia control panel (nvcplui) from. Cannot change the DEP setting to allow control panel start. I think that the nvidia Control Panel is the only way to install a second graphics card (not SLI). Any advice would be welcome.   Hi guys, I'm working on an extension of html5, I have a main table, then a second I opened using the requestOpenExtension(). I met a problem, I need to pass a parameter, for example, a number or a string from the Panel 1 this 2nd one when I asked. I noticed the StartupParams in the requestOpenExtension function, but I couldn't find any information about how it works or how to retrieve the setting once the extension is open, or if I can even use it for custom parameters

  You can use the work around here. You can write data to the local file and read the data in the 2 panel during its initialization.

• Resize problems in Flex Panel...

  I'm developing a flex panel that opens in Illustrator. All right. But I encountered a problem on the resizing of the Panel. When the Panel is open at the start, it opens with the appropriate dimensions (ie the dimensions that I gave in the design). But if I develop the Panel, then close Illustrator without closing the Panel, then when I launch Illustrator once again, the Panel opens with same dimensions as I closed it with, but the control panel items are not resized.   Thanks for the reply to my question and after a few hours I was able to understand it.

  IM creating a window pop up with a text field inside and then I attached a mc of handle on the lower right window of movieclip as a handful of resizing. So every time I have would be extended my movieclip window it won't affect the textfield object. I solved it by resizing the bgmc inside the windowmc instead of just the windowmc (which will have an impact on the textfield).

  Since upgrading to Firefox 13, I have problems with sites opening new window resized with the menu drop-down menus (file, editing, etc.) and other toolbars turned off or removed. I uncheck all the advanced options in the section activate Java Script of the Firefox Options menus, but appears not to have done the trick.

  Bottom line: I want these pages to open, but I don't want the resized window or my menus and toolbars disabled. I thought that I had that problem licked, but it seems to have resurfaced with Firefox 13.
