  I'm having a problem with Illustrator CS5 because I upgraded to Yosemite. When I go to the character window to select the fonts that they display correctly the names or to say better they don't quite see you!

  When I scroll up and down the list only the highlighted (where the cursor is) name of the font, and preview will show such than expected, oh and a few random font names. (see image attached, although strangely the highlighted area shows empty on this screenshot)

  I had to update Java in order to get this version of Illustrator working on Yosemite, could there be a link to that?

  I think that it can fix:

  Open system preferences and go to accessibility. Then select display in the source on the left side list, then check the box transparency reduced.

  Got a solution guys. The new transparency is the problem. Go to System Preferences > accessibility, and select reduce transparency. It should work.

  I have problem with police costume (from web fonts, of course) - open without. If I choose this policy I can't see properly in Chrome. I don't know why. My police - is lowest if the police must be very thin, but it's not.

  It's very simple bug and workaround is as simple as changing one line in the output html file. For some reason any police Edge is not added to propersly, for example, it is

  Some time is should be

  In other words, only a single weight seems to be added for a glimpse and you add what you need yourself.

  My 24 in early 2008, died a few weeks before, diagnosed a graphics card failure. It was running El Capitan and applications worked fine, no problems what so ever.

  Today I bought a new 27 inch, 3.2 with fusion drive, restored with Time Machine and the process worked well. It is just like my old Mac but run a hundred times faster.

  With the time I've lost lately, I desperately need to catch up with the work, but to my absolute frustration Illustrator crashes everytime that I previews fonts menu scrolling.

  Can you try and check the accessibility of your system settings - there is a transparent overlay parameter. Turn this option off.

• How can I install additional Typekit fonts in Muse design and verification, code and server?

  I'm designing a website for a client and need two policies that we have access to through our respective CC subscriptions. Fonts are only accessible by creating a typekit. I do not have a server on which to install the typekit said until the site is online. In the meantime, I want to use these fonts for audit purposes, and they are not available in the menu font. I understand that there is some HTML code to put in the header so that the appropriate fonts are used on the site online. But how do I actually work with these fonts when designing and proofing exclusion using Fund policies?

  Currently, you can only use and preview the free and open-source Typekit fonts in Muse. Adding additional Typekit fonts requires little code and a site online to preview fonts.

  If you are uncomfortable with a bit of HTML/CSS, the Muse Insider wrote a post on how to insert the Typekit include the code of the interface of Muse:

  Or you can add the embed code to the Properties dialog box of the Page within the Muse, which will include in theof the page when you export your Web site.

  However, we do see the value of being able to design in Muse with all fonts in your Typekit library. This will require greater integration between Typekit & Muse. I'll give you a big boost for the team in this way for you.

• Is there a way to see samples of fonts in DW?

  I would like to see a Visual representation of all the fonts that are currently available in the DW - can anyone tell me if it is available somewhere so I don't have to add each font in the font list and then edit them in page one at a time? I don't see any preview of fonts in DW and searched the Web and found only an overview of fonts in Photoshop, which I did not.

  Thanks for the follow-up, but I have not downloaded fonts on the web, I just want to know the choices that DW provides within CS5, but I can't find a way to preview fonts directly from Adobe, without selecting a font, one by one in the menu font, which will probably several hours to manually test.

  I presume that you are referring to the fonts available in Dreamweaver to create the content of web pages?

  Dreamweaver is not a word processor, so it doesn't have this feature.

  More important, it's what fonts will be your Wanhua site when they visit your Web site. Fonts must be installed on the local computer for the Web page to display with your chosen font. The computers are delivered with a set of default fonts that are safe to use for most people.

  Using any other font that secure for the Web does not guarantee that visitors will see it. This is why fonts are usually specified in the families of fonts that Dreamweaver offers through the property inspector (for example, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, without serif)

  Can anyone point the way?   Something has changed in Muse... when I add tags: now - changed preview font sizes and publish.  The fonts are extra big when I apply H - tags.

  Please go into Photoshop preferences and then go to the tab Type.

  In it please change the text engine to Asia to the Middle East.

  Restart Photoshop and then see if it works.

• Photoshop extremely laggy on Mac

  I've recently updated to a Macbook Pro (13 "with an i5 processor) 2015 and I have noticed severe lag on the side mac and I was wondering if there is a way to solve this problem?

  Many people are suggesting that my computer may be too low to run it, but I don't think that's true. I've used Adobe Photoshop CS6 on a junky 2010 Dell Inspiron with 6 GB of ram and an i5 processor running on the integrated graphics card intel and never met any lag at all, only when I was working on a document to 5000 x 5000 with 300 dpi, I noticed lag. In addition, I do not notice any problems with other programs in creative suite like Illustrator or Flash, so it makes me think that this might just be due to lack of Photoshops. Also, I'm starting to believe that my problem is persistent on Macs, given that my school also uses the imacs 2013 with built AMD graphics card in and meeting always lag of Photoshop, while my Windows laptop and the office has never really encounter any lag.

  EDIT: Now, I strongly doubt it's the fault of my hardware. I tried just to make a photoshop document that is 100 x 100 with 72 dpi, and it continues to lag when you use the Brush tool or the pen tool.

  Make sure you have installed the Photoshop CC 2015.0.1 update.

  Make sure that you have installed all OS updates.

  Try disabling the third-party plugins.

  Try to set the preview font to zero size.

  Try to kill the CCLibraries process (it will get revived in a few seconds).

  Try turning off the generator in the preferences.
