• Very erratic PREVIEW function

  In Captivate2, the preview function - including all its variants "project / this slide/next 5 slides"-works correctly for a while, then suddenly stops working. The cursor "generation slips" is displayed, but after she disappears, there is no preview (never even get this message 'generation of swf file').
  When this happens, the only way I can get an overview of what I've done is to publish the entire project - a gigantic waste of time, when the project is very large and I just want to see is worth 5 slides in preview.

  I wonder if what follows is not what seems to be the case here. Captivate guard trace of almost everything that you do. So, occasional dialog boxes that you see (as for example when the merger of an object in the background) where it does not track. So, essentially, you have an unlimited number of undo levels. I tested and abandoned after about 240 or more.

  As all this would consume resources of the computer, I have always recommended a normal restart of Captivate (perhaps at the lunch hour) just for files temporary clear and whatnot.

  So I think the accumulation of temporary files and related issues can be what is at stake here. Also, how big is big? I see others show movies in hundreds of slides and I shudder.

• cPanel html editor preview function does not load the preview page.

  Firefox v24.0, Windows 7 Pro to edit the HTML for website with CPANEL sfw. There is an HTML editor with a preview option that solves all the links embedded in the page. By clicking on the Preview button in the lower left corner causes an error on encryption and the secure connection. By selecting < continue > This message box gives a message of endless "loading".
  I also tried on my laptop running Vista and Firefox Ver 8.0 and it worked fine. However, Firefox has been updated automatically and he did, clearly to 24.0 worm, which does not promptly in the same way it does on Windows 7 Pro.

• separations preview function knockout, how do I disable or enable?

  Hi all

  I have problems with the separations preview feature in Illustrator. In this diagram, I am printing two colors; White and black. For white, I made a spot color shade (20% Cyan) and black, I used the black process. The problem for me is when I print white, it are knocked out of the top ink forms. I don't want that. I want the black to print directly on white. Please see the links for a clearer idea of what I'm explaining.

  There are some parts that are knocked out and there are some that are not. How can I do so that the ink on the bottom do not become knocked out?

• QML preview window is missing from the NDK Beta 2 (Linux)

  Hey guys! Has encountered a problem. After NDK update to the latest version Beta 2 Preview QML window is no longer available for me. All was well with the previous version of NDK, so I guess that it isn't a problem with libglapi-mesa, libgl1-mesa-glx, and mentioned here http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Cascades-Development/How-to-get-QML-preview-working-in-Linux/...

  I can't simply activate the qml and - drop preview function device type is missing as well. I have attached a screenshot to clarify my situation.

  This is provided in the current version (10.0.6) and the reason why the native SDK for BlackBerry for Linux is not listed on the download page of Cascades.  You can download it from the C/C++ section (and the tools are the same between sites).  It is simply not listed on the download page of Cascades right now because the pieces of stunts are not supported under Linux on this version.

• Any way to mute audio while (RAM) Preview frames are rendered?

  I scoured the boards to do this and I can't seem to find an answer. My system is working well, but since the new preview function, (formerly 'Preview RAM') has been implemented whenever I give an overview of the system "beeps" audio, image by image, such that it makes. It's as if she strives to re-read everything to 1 or 2 images per second, including audio. It is extremely annoying when you have made a long enough with audio necessary for reading, especially with a customer in the room, trying to make a phone call while the system leaves escape 'PPE....   What is the version of After Effects that you use?

  If you are CC 2015 go to After Effects > Preferences > Previews and check the option that says "Mute Audio at the premiere is not real-time.

• CC 2015 - dismal preview (Ram).

  My apologies if this has already been covered, but I can't find anything specific.

  I probably only use AE every 3 months or more (when a project is online) and since the last success of the project, CC 2015 has been installed.

  I just tried to use the latest version and the new 'Preview' function that used to be 'RAM Preview' is appalling.

  He used to go... I have a complex series of compositions, multiple effects, trackers, etc. of the 3D elements. I hit RAM Preview and wait while it does its thing. I accepted the delay.

  Now... Even if I only have one piece of footage on the timeline without effects, I struck an excerpt, and I get a choppy mess that tops out at about 5 seconds in duration.

  I'm doing something wrong? Nothing has changed on my mac (including the cache settings), other than the 'upgrade' to 2015 CC.

  It is absolutely unusable. Has anyone else had similar problems?

  If it doesn't work for you, just use CC 2014 until the update for 2015 CC comes out. In case the one who updated your machine said to delete the old versions and you no longer have CC 2014, it is very easy to install it again, see this page.

  Site looks good in DW CS6 "Preview" for IE.  Yet, when I download it on the host and the view, he lives in IE, the page layout is off.  Why is this?  What is the point of the preview function?

  The problem is not with an excerpt from DW because IE is still IE.   Is something missing on the side server.

  Ensure that all external scripts, CSS files, images, etc. have been uploaded to the correct folders on your server.   And that the paths to these files are correctly pointing to the site and not files: / / to your local hard drive.

• Wipe slideshow does not not in the preview

  I'll put up my first website mobile muse. I copied my version of desktop slideshow, paste it into the mobile site and resized to fit. I deleted the two arrows, because I want to be able to simply drag the image of the image on the mobile version. I checked "enable swipe" on the options slide show, but when I type a snippet I can't so to work. Is it because the page is not yet been accessed on a mobile device? If I were to publish and display on a mobile device would then work?

  Exactly how do you test the scan for mobile site with preview function?

• Help... Will of C2 not preview or publish

  When I try to listen to samples, the progress bar stops running and freezes. Did the same thing when I try to publish.
  
  I was importing a Mp3 file in each of my slides and everything was working fine until about slide 15.
  
  Tried re-register it under different name and restart, but no change.
  
  The only way I could get to preview and publish it to work was to remove the sound elements of the last slides.
  
  What happens here? Have I touched a limit on something? Its a pretty simple program (static slides with 600 Ko of a sound file on each slide).

  I was able to get the preview function to work now. I have found that whenever I click on "[Preview] and [Project], the progress bar 'Generate Slides' moves a little further to the right. It takes about ten repetitions to get the project to complete the process.
  It's almost like I'm pushing him through the process... Strange, but it works.

  I posted a style rule to shrink the tiles, which allows several of them on the page, but naturally reduces their legibility. You can experiment with the dimensions to find a look that works for you.

• OfficeJet 6500 e710n-z: scan and Fax no longer works

  After working fine for a couple of years, scanner and fax on my Officejet 6500 functions do not work.  The print function is fine.

  Change that recent computer-wise is that I am switched to a Macbook Air (and upgraded to OS Mavericks) Macbook Pro, but all that was on my previous Mac was transferred to my Air of my LaCie support.

  When I try to scan a document, the preview function works fine but when I click on Scan, a small message says "Made scan of selected areas" but no scan is actually performed.

  When I try to send a fax, I can hear the tone on my phone line and the phone rings but the fax does not pick up.  I tried with several known fax numbers and it's always the same.  I almost never receive faxes so I can't say whether or not the receiver function works.

  Can someone advise?

• Glossary not bolded in iBooks on the iPad

  Can't understand why the glossary of terms that I added, that appear in bold in iBooks author, however not in bold for the Viewer on iPad when export for playback on iPad. The basic body font is Calibri, and when the glossary term is added, it is noticed that the glossary definition primary under the character styles.

  What am I doing wrong or what I need to do in order to have the glossary main term appears in bold when previewing in iBooks?

  Do you export your address in the format .ibooks and transfer the file to your iPad and check it like that?  The "Preview" function can be unreliable for some things.
