  I extended a BitmapField that when it is displayed on the screen is running a Thread internally in order to upload an image from a web server and then display it on the BitmapField. During the download of the Thread, it shows a dummy Bitmap.

  I am now the list 15 images on a screen in a VerticalFieldManager, and as soon as the application starts, 15 thread starts to download each image.

  When I run the application on the Simulator, with WiFi, all the images always get downloaded without problem all the time but when I run it on the device, sometimes the images are downloaded and sometimes some of them are not downloaded due to a "General socket error" (it is said the message of the Exception).

  When the login screen appears, try pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del twice.  This should bring up a classic connection window.  Enter the user name and password (if there is one) and see if you can connect in this way.

  Hey, I got my BB about 2 days ago. It worked fine for about half a day after being fully charged, but while using it, the screen froze. The power button has not been at this point operation so I removed the battery.

  I used to have some spacing problems with figure of styles placed under my imported images. I found it was causing the anchored frame settings. I ended up changing these settings below the current line on the insertion point with 0 entered for the Distance above the base. This seems to fix the problem and change the settings for each picture was quite a task. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it if this problem occurs with each unique image and style of the Figure. If the problem occurs only with some images, try to change the anchored frame settings to see if that helps.
