• Browser needs to display the Previous/Next buttons

  Both WebHelp and FlashHelp layouts appear in the full browser window in RoboHelp. But when called in my MS Visual C++ application through a call to RH_ShowHelp, help is displayed in a window of no or limited browser. All I get is the blue bar title all about the skin. Is the problem with the arguments of RH_ShowHelp? I tried hParent = 0 and (-1) and uCommand = HH_HELP_CONTEXT and HH_DISPLAY_TOPIC - same results. Or would be the problem with my browser settings?
  
  

  Thanks for the links. Opening of specific help topics using the #topic_file.htm does the trick if I needed to convert all my calls application using the card ID message to use the real file names. It seems that the only way to get a 'real' previous/next buttons is to open a browser. I'm working on it - can't seem to avoid security with IE 7. Thanks again for all the help. I learn so much to read these messages. What a great resource.

  When I open two or more files, previous/next buttons are missing, and I always click on the red x in the upper left to return to a previous window.

  No idea how to get back them? I searched in the Panel and could not find anything.

  If you click on organize upper-left.

  Click on the folder and search options,

  General section

  Check the upper option,

  Open each folder in the same window.

  Apply and OK.

  I have playlists since older versions of media center and when I play a video playlist with the previous buttons and next player will be disabled. If the playlist has audio files it next and previous buttons work fine.

  It has always worked in other versions I know that it is a feature I use all the time so I would have noticed

  You can use Windows Media Center to play your videos.
  1. Click Start
  2. In the Search box , type Media Center
  3. Click on Media Center
  4. Select the photos + videos (you should see the library of images, Favorites, play and video library)
  5. Select the video library
  6. Cross the guests to add your video to this library folders
  7. Double-click the video file you want to play
  8. You should see the possibility of play all the

  When I customize a skin, the preview shows the previous and the next in the navigation bar button. But when I publish to generate the WebHelp, previous and the next button will not appear. However, the button hide / close appears in the naviagtion bar. Infact, on the use of any other skin or default skin, I encounter the same problem.

• iOS10 update: what happens to the previous/next buttons in Mail?

  I updated my iPhone 6 g & iPad Air to iOS10 and now I no longer have 'previous' and 'next' buttons in the mailer.  The update designed to remove these buttons or was it an oversight?  I use them a LOT, it's much easier to navigate through all my email with these buttons, rather than continually back to the Inbox to view e-mail.

  Do not forget that the Navigation toolbar and other toolbars are displayed. View > toolbars. Click toolbars to set or clear the checkbox. Check = not displayed, no check mark is not displayed.

  I'm fairly new to RoboHelp so patient with me!  I have a strongly stylized Word document that I imported into RH9.  I chose the skin "XP Silver" to the gallery.  I paginate on H1 and H2, the importation and the generation of my HTML content without any problem... However the buttons Previous/Next (of the movement of the skin section) do not work.  Is it because the HR is not recognizing my styles as subjects?  Will I need to manually "declare" my subjects after import?

  Hi Wilana and welcome to the HR community.

  What you describe looks like you're referring to the buttons left and right located immediately above the table of contents (see below). If this is correct, these aren't "Next" and "Previous" button in the same way that you think.

  

  These keys correspond to your use of browse sequences. If you need any settings, the buttons are inactive. Even if you don't have a set-up, the buttons are inactive until you post a topic that is part of one.

• Why my previous/next buttons do not work? Also my history and bookmarks disappeared. Nothing of what has already been proposed on this site worked.

  When a mode of browsing or shopping Web site, often you look at something, and then look for the color choices, you will need to go back several pages before you can see the order of the day. Where has the back arrow of multiple pages gone?

  To go back (or send) more page, click and hold the button of the mouse on the back button (or before) that for a few seconds and a list of recently visited sites will show. The down arrow which was next buttons to display the list has been removed to add more space on the toolbar.

  When I generate a WebHelp Pro output using my own appearance or the default, the back of RoboHelp and before buttons are disabled? The browser buttons work always.   If you are referring to the buttons in the position shown in the picture below, these are used by the subjects that are part of a sequence of browse. They are no longer active if the topic poster is part of one.
