When CS7 comes out, the subscription license will continue to wear the CS6 applications?

I often have to save backwards more than one version of InDesign in order to access older versions of the software is critical. It is a key issue in my decision to choose either the creative cloud and its model of subscription compared to the perpetual license license.

When the CS7 versions will be available, you will need a year, to download and install, and they will run on your computer as well as versions CS6.

    I'm an end user on a company account (no control over applications). I requested access to the CS6 via se functionality of previous versions of our admin account, but told me that we (society) can no longer use our previous CS6 licenses.

    When someone installs CS6 via se functionality of previous versions, they use a previous license for CS6?  Or is the version of CS6 install they considered part of the CC account and falls therefore under the CC license?     The previous version option will only be visible if you have bought the creative cloud subscription.

    Usually with the Adobe software, you can have several versions on the same machine without problem - if the prior release is maintaining your choice.

    And if you install an upgraded version on a different machine from the previous version, you must enter the serial number of the old product when you install the new software, is everything.

I have had this for 1 year (bought secondhand) no probs, just updated my pc and installed a new and it does not accept the cd key? If it wasn't authentic I questions since I use first, so why question now?

    The only way to know is to contact the original owner or check the chassis of the machine to see if there is a certificate of Authenticity sticker attached to it. It will identify which edition an original version of Windows is preinstalled on the machine:

    I started with cs2 for windows then still cs3 for windows, then an update to cs5, and at this point, I've changed the license from windows to mac. Now, my old mac dropped on me, bought a replacement (also mac) attempted to move the replacement computer for cs5, cs5 series number is accepted without problem, but because it was an upgrade, it asked that the serial numbers for the previous versions, and it is where I come to a dead end, the serial number of the previous full version cs2 is not be accepted do not know if because at the time, it was always version of windows.     Hi all.  I agree with the creative cloud but I have still several previous versions of Adobe and applications files on my MAC that I don't know what / has to do with.  Three thoughts come to mind: 1) I think that some older files can still be useful even if I now use the CC apps (with the exception of Encore CS6), 2) I wonder if some files may be necessary for CC apps "still work properly", and 3) I don't know there must be files/applications that are simply too much space on my disk to the operating system (OS) that I can remove.  Here's what I think I do: 1) is a 'global' plan to clean my hardware necessary or unwanted OS disk and 2) to determine the specific measures to be taken for each CC application that I use.  I work mainly with first Pro CC, CC of Photoshop, after effects CC and Encore CS6.  If I knew what I was looking at and what he does, then I think that I could come up with a plan to keep all the 'good' things all too clean my OS drive.  That being said, I enclose below a few pictures of my computer specs, some of Adobe products on my OS and some notes to go with the pictures.  Anyone has any idea where I should start, please?  Thanks to all those who provide their thoughts.

    All versions of Adobe apps are independent and can work even when previous versions are deleted. That said, the new versions work correctly without their previous versions.

    First, check all your project files created using previous versions of Adobe applications. Then use the Adobe CC cleaning tool to remove all previous versions: Adobe Creative cloud cleaning tool

    Do not move all the folders between old - new versions. Using the CC cleanup tool will remove apps with their respective folders, if you do not have to worry about them.

    NOTE: be sure to check with the manufacturer of plugin for 3rd party plugins

    You don't have to move all the files to your versions prior to the CC version. [Check with manufacturers of plugin if you have installed the plug-ins]  And uninstalling previous versions will not have a negative impact on the CC versions.

    Tried to load Adobe Acrobat STD DC and get a window appears asking a previous version. I have a new W7 machine... There is no earlier versions.

    I tried to upgrade to pro by mistake, but this version has been removed. I spoke in the chat with an agent for Adobe and I have the license key for the Standard version. SO, I downloaded and installed, but still get the window "upgrade" asking a previous version and the license key for this version.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    My photos are stored on an external hard drive, and I still create views Dynamics ("unpleasant Dynamics') when imported into LR.

    It seems to be resolved almost... except that the display on a picture of a directory (menu library or development) is very long... and even does not at all: photos of the selected directory are displayed at the bottom of the screen (in the ' film'), but the selected directory is not underlined in the navigation, and the displayed image is to another directory.

    Hi, just an update to this since we have things actually finally tested on our end by purchasing a subscription unique app.

    In the case of some of our customers, it is necessary to use the CS6 or CC these options are not available because them does not list the option "view previous versions". It may be a good idea to make this clearer, because it is difficult to decipher the information displayed. In our case, we have a lot of users who simply need InCopy and have no need for the rest of the suite. Download the trial version from the link you mentioned won't work for them unfortunately.

    Nope, each version installer will be uninstall any earlier version, if it still exists.  The installation program does not check the previous version for any other reason.  The only difference was the cost thank you licenses/workstation.
