Primary monitor does not work after last nights updated
- I'm running Ultimate.
- I have two monitors.
- My primary monitor does not work.
- I checked the VGA cables. This isn't the issue.
- Edit: Just realized that my main monitor is a monitor "Westinghouse". -Who is a "Plug-in-and-play" monitor, there are no drivers.
- Reinstalled the ATI drivers, did nothing.
- SYSTEM RESTORED, still nothing.
I ran the most recent update for final last night, then fell asleep. Everything worked before that date, but when I went to turn on my computer this morning, only my HP [my second monitor.] w17e worked. He said he was installing updates from last night, so I had no problem with him and thought it might show something once like this on the login screen.
Once that has happened to the login screen, it showed it for a fraction of a second before disappearing. I entered my password and it connected as usual. After login, I turned off my monitor, and then back on, and it showed my normal desktop for a moment, [enough for me to close two-three programs] before she returned empty.

I recommend you to update the graphics drivers and see if it makes a difference. You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.
1. open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2. in Device Manager, locate the graphics card and then double-click the device name.

After JRE update at 1.6.0_71 a pop from empty windows to the top, that you cannot close hitting the X.
Browser Java - Console gives the result according to which, in the two Version of Java, is equal, except with Java 1.6.0_71 exceptions occur.
There is no exception with Java 1.6.0_51.
No workaround/patch is it available?

I had a similar problem with my Android Smartphone and my o2 provider
I started to search for new, so I chose the O2 again and then I could solve the problem.In the case where this does not work for you, recommend you to reset the default Tablet (factory settings)

1. download and open the Setup file install Windows 8 Microsoft from the link above.
2. Enter your product key of Windows 8 and start the download.
3. once the download is complete, select install by creating media.

Windows does not work after last update of November
I've manually updated Windows 7 last night (updates critical day of November and other updates) and since it has NOT restarted, automatically, I rebooted my computer this morning. Since then, Windows begins to restart, but then the screen comes on and off (i.e. flashing) but don't not continue to open windows... What do I do? Help, please. Thank you.

- Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
- Start the computer with your system repair CD. If you do not have one, ask a friend to burn you through the control panel / backup and restore. It takes less than five minutes.
- Press a key when prompted to boot from the CD.
- Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
- Select 'Repair' when prompted.
- When you are prompted, select System Restore.
- Configure Windows to a point before the automatic update do its damage
- Disable the automatic updates until Microsoft solves the problem. You should see it in these forums.

I know. I should have checked the upgrade information before doing so, but I have upgraded to Windows 8 about 3 months ago and my DVD player and touchscreen no longer work. I don't know what else does not work.I searched drivers but can't seem to find a.
Can someone point me to the right direction?
Or do I restore to original settings - Windows 7?
Which brings me to my second question. How to restore? I did not have a backup, but I left all my data on a hard drive.

To be honest that I n t have this unit and don t have experience with it but I ve checked Toshiba to THE support page and of course, this model is not supported for Win8. What you need are utilities and tools specific to Toshiba.
In my opinion, if the device is not fully supported you should go back to original Win7 and supported.
I put t know why you didn t follow the Toshiba s advice on the creation of recovery media. From my experience, that the recorded data are unnecessary, and you will not be able to start the recovery image installation.What you need now is the recovery disk. Visit the Toshiba page if there is possibility to order a new. Otherwise contact the closest service Toshiba and ask if they can help you with this.
