  upgrade windows xp to windows 7 with the new HP Omni 220PC. Have a printer HP C309g-m. To scan from the printer to the computer xp, I had to use the HP Solution Center. The printer works very well with the new windows 7 program and new computer. I install wireless. No problems with it. Today when I went to scan a document with the HP Solution Center (I thought I had to use as before), this message came.

  "HP Solution Center cannot work because your device installation is not complete. Please connect the usb cable, or rerun the installation for a network installation cd. If it does not complete the installation, or you do not have the cd, access the HP help files by clicking on the start menu. "Everything I did. My installation CD said I had a version of the latest update on the installation CD, it was of no use. I went to the HP site and find a download for the drivers updated etc. I downloaded and installed.   all fixed. has crossed my computer to start then click HP click HP and open list. Went to my printer-clicked on my printer and clicked on the icon list to see if it worked correctly. This is a problem with the drivers and a box popped up with directions on where and how to download and install the devices for windows 7.
  Done this and tested it and everything works fine now. (Ihad already tried the HP site for support and downloaded and installed the fix suggested for the problem, but it did not work). in any case, its fixed and I hope that if someone has a problem, this information will help you.
