Print booklet in CS6

How can I print my 20 files in a single book. I read the help and they speak print booklet under FILE. I can't find anything about this to the CS6.

What format are your files?

The ideal tool that you can use to do this is Adobe InDesign. But, if you don't have InDesign, you can always do it in Photoshop.

With Photoshop CS6, you can merge your files (JPG, PSD, etc.) in 1 PDF and then print this PDF.

To do this, file > automate > PDF presentation. Add your source files, save-as 'several page Document '. It will save the different files that you have added as 1 single PDF file.

Then open this file PDF (booklet in your case), click on print.

  • "Print booklet" convert to RGB without my permission

I think it's only a recent thing that indesign has decided to start making me (using the CS6 on a Windows 7 machine, if that makes a difference).

I have an original PDF of a customer who is 100% CMYK. When I import InDesign pages, then print brochure, all images are converted to RGB in the PDF file. It's using the same profile settings, as I would normally just export (CMYK, us Web Coated SWOP v2) still works fine on the same file. It is that when I print Basic that he decided to RGB of the thing. Only the images; text, boxes, stroke etc. are always CMYK.

Why it does this, and how it stop? Simply convert the colors later in Acrobat is not enough, because it's the 'black' on a black background CMYK RGB conversion.

This isn't about the settings that you have in InDesign or the print booklet dialog box, it is on the printer properties virtual Adobe PDF (the driver settings). By default, the printer uses the smallest size of file, as the preset, I think (I changed my default years ago), then you must change the settings in the proerties of the printer through Windows, or the driver of the printer setup dialog box after accessing booklet to print.

  • Printing from Photoshop CS6 on 5520 and B110 - something wrong

There is something wrong with the way that my printer HP - 5520 and B110 - print from Photoshop CS6.

It's like he's still the impression of 'high quality' rather than 'rough', with several passages for each line.  It's the same on the 5520 and B110.

I use the Mavericks with the 4.2.4 drivers.

I know it's HP and Photoshop as if I take the same file and print from Illustrator CS6 it works OK and prints quickly.  Also, if I print the same Photoshop file on my Epson printer, it prints as quickly.

    Help?

    Hello imacken.

I understand your concerns. Since we are a forum based community, we try to answer as soon as possible. I'm sorry that nobody has answered this post.

If I understand you correctly, you declare that whenever you print a file using the program Photoshop CS6, you will notice that it takes a while to print using your HP printers?

In addition, you can change the settings on your computer of the Mavericks. Please follow this document from HP on the Advanced color management. You should be able to change the type of quality by reference to this document.

How these printers are connected? USB or wireless.

Once I have this information, I can help you further.

  • Printing from Photoshop CS6

When I print from Photoshop CS6 photos are lightweight and resemble nothing as they should.  If I import the photo in the Pages it prints perfectly.  Why this is happening and how to fix?  I have a MacBook Pro

Let us look at the dialog box print in Photoshop. It may be defined differently from the Pages, so check the quality printing and color management.

I check my paper for the paper type settings, I use and opt for better quality. Anything less gives you a faded image.

Then in the color management, I put it to "Printer manages colors." I had better results, let the printer manage, and that's normally what your other applications use.

  • How to record a gap of 11 x 17 pdf with funds lost by printing booklet (paginated) so I can send to FedEx for print?

I used to be able to print booklet and change the print setting to save it as a postscript and distill but when I do that now pages get cropped so that they are more 12 x 18.

Thanks P Spier, but I already had that and it still wouldn't let me print on paper 11 x 17 (but I probably need as ppd to operate).

In case anyone needs it, here's what I did:

I added a new Document Preset for oversized items (file > Print Presets > define... make a new one this size: 17.5833 11.5833)

Make sure that you are bleeding already defined (. 125)

    File > print booklet

Select the Print Preset you just made

    Click Print settings...

Select the Print Preset you just made (Yes, again)

Save the .ps file and then open it with the Distiller or Adobe Acrobat Pro

  • Indesign CS5 - Duplex print booklet, two pages are missing.

I hope someone can help! I am trying to print a 24-page booklet using 2 - up perfect bound with the signature value 4. In the preview in InDesign and when I printed out to test the two first pages are missing. It seems at least one of the pages is actually a page on too, but it's difficult to work on the preview. Please help due tomorrow afternoon!

If you have some blank pages in your file, you must set the printing by print booklet dialog box to print blank pages.

  • Orientation page and balance are grayed out when I "print booklet" as a PS file

I'm using CS5 (it's old, but it doesn't have me given all the problems yet) and running OS Mavericks.

I need to print and bind a 10x13cm book that I'm working on.

The book will be bound in the sections of 16 pages, then m goal is to produce a PDF for each section of book 16 pages.

Each PDF page will consist of the two places "spreads" impression (i.e., pages 1-16, then 15-2, then 3-14, etc.)

As the book is smaller than the A6, I can hold each Board on a page of A4 format, printed as 'landscape' orientation

I will then send this PDF to someone who will then print on a laser printer double sides on A4 sheets.

I'll fold, bind and cut out the resulting pages and make a model.

    My problem is the following:

    > I go to "Print booklet" and select "2-top shot on horseback" (gives me the page layout, I need)

    > I click on 'Printer setup' and select "PostScript file" from the drop-down list (I will then distill the PS file)

However, when I go to installation, orientation and position of the page are all grayed out.

Therefore, when I print and distill the file in PS it is sitting at the bottom left of a sheet of 'portrait' (not centered on the sheet)

You know another way to get around this?

If I print directly to my inkjet, then I can control all the centering, etc., but as I need to create a PDF file to send to someone else, it is not much help.

    Any help would be appreciated!

If you bind in 16 sections of page, you must choose 2-upper bound and specify 16 page signatures. Stitching horse assumes that all the pages are folded together in a single section.

For the options on the page, you must install and use the ADPDF9. PPD file. You can download it from my drop box on download - Hightail

  • How to "print booklet" in CS 5?

I try to print my book for my boss can he proof. I want it to look like the real thing so I went to "print booklet". I can't print in order digital, portrait, 11 x 17, on both sides of the paper so that it looks like your average, ordinary booklet. I have chosen the wrong type? Help, please!

In the print booklet dialog box choose 2-top shot on horseback, and then click the print settings button:

This will open the print dialog box:

Choose your printer, set the page size and orientation of the landscape, then click on the settings button to access the driver, ignore the warning and set duplex printing options (you will want to return on the short edge to it). Say OK two times to return to the print booklet dialog box.

After you set the options for printing, print preview booklet your screen should look like this (it's a 16-page document, pages 16 and 1 are together):

  • How can I "Print booklet" with just strange pages and even copy double-sided. . options disabled

    I have InDesign CS5.5 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine attached to a Xerox 7750 printer.  I created a portrait 8.5 x 11 paper and trying to create a booklet on 12 x 18 sheets.

I need manual duplex printing and so I need to print only the "spreads" weird and then the "spreads".

I printed in Adobe PDF format and printed my created PDF file and have it work, but I want to know why InDesign doesn't let me do.  When I click on "file > print booklet > Print Settings ', and then it displays the dialog box to print the Pages section, which includes the sequence that normally would allow me to do the odd Pages or even Pages, but it is disabled.  Why?  I can define print presets and I choose odd Pages, but when I choose that Preset area it shows nothing, everything is always disabled.

Anyone has any idea why it is disabled?  Is it my printer driver?

You are doing the right thing by printing to PDF and manually duplexing it.

  • Print booklet with CS5 does not properly

I send a 12-page e-mail newsletter to a printer of every month (newsletter of the Macintosh users group). In previous versions of the printed booklet, I was able to put up with a PPD and it was great. The pages were perfectly arranged in the right order to be printed on paper 11 x 17, then collated and stapled.

It's my first newsletter using InDesign CS5. Only, I spent half a day try and get saved pages as print quality spreads in the right order. I found searching forums that apparently, that snow leopard has no PDF printer anymore. My two printers do not have the ability to print the tabloid pages, so I can't set up the preset with those, and there is no other PPV, I can choose to.

I have used PostScript as with independent device for the PPD printer. Booklet print preview looks as if it will end by correct, but when I go ahead and click on print - my PS file comes out with only half of the pages in PDF format (after opening in Acrobat). There should be 6 pages which are 2 poses with the last etc., first page. It's the preview, I get, but when Acrobat is done with her, I have 6 pages of my original 12 page newsletter. The pages that I get are 12, 2, 10, 4, 8 and 6. These are all the pages that must be on the same side of a page 2 - up to 11 x 17. Why I get the pages? The only thing I can think is that I can't put up a tabloid size PPD as I used to have in InDesign CS4.

You may have more luck with a script. Dave Saunders has two of them who work a bit differently. Booklet of generation creates a new document as a copy of the original and the editorial pages for the two-seater stapling. It is fine as long as you have all of the elements that cross the spine. Make the booklet places pages of the original in a new doc and changes, that should allow you to have items of cross-spine.

  • Print booklet?

Hey I have a question about "print booklet":

-It is possible to only print only one page of a book (but without changing the libretto himself).

    or

-It is possible to export the brochure in PDF format: I choose Adobe PDF 9 as a printer, but I am not asking for a filename, so I don't think the file is created...

NB. I need to be able to print only some page of the booklet, I need to print double-sided handmade...

I mean that's not easy to print the booklet to do things like printing one side of the sheet for a book all at once, then return the stack and print the second side, or to print the spreads selected randomly, tasks Acrobat manages without flinching. Acrobat generally print faster, too.

  • Why did I get a warning from paper size when you use the printed booklet?

I am trying to use the facilities to print booklet in InDesign CS4 (running Windows XP). My document pages are portrait A5 and my printing parameters for the booklet are A4 landscape. However, the print booklet dialog box is warning me that "the booklet does not match the current paper size. Click Print settings to specify a paper size larger or the scale of the brochure to adapt. »

Because, by design, a folded sheet of A4 is exactly A5, no scaling should be held. If I ignore the warning and continue with printing, every page of my book is followed by a blank page. I remember ever get this problem when I created version of the year last my brochure, using InDesign CS2.

Anyone can shed some light on this mystery?

    David

Sorry, I guess I forgot to answer this question earlier. If the contours of the block are displayed, they take on the color of the layer on which they are found as a visual cue. You can hide the contours of the block on the view menu, or by pressing Ctrl (Cmd) + H. They will disappear also in preview (W).
