  My newly installed (Jan 2015) ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one prints only two pages of a document with several pages of my HP desk top 500-123ea, windows 8.1. Message on PC "Unable to print document", it's even on Double or single sided printing.  A ran Scan doctor, OK; reloaded software and Firmware from the Hp site. He spent hours and hours of reading the elements of list of support HP; Impossible to talk online with HP. very in angry and frustrated. This HP product seems not as "fit for purpose". I will give HP Feedback after this announcement and rate accordingly. I beleve others have similar experience of this problem. HP is aware?  Is anyone out there that can help?

• Web pages are missing their default scroll bars - help

  Web pages are missing their scroll bars.

  To be clear, I can create scrollbars for any item

  in a page, no problem.

  It is that each pg itself which, by default, should come with its own scroll bars does not.

  So if a Viewer can't see the entire page the viewer has no way of

  horizontally or vertically, scroll to see the part off the screen of the page.

• HP Laserjet P2015d: HP P2015d duplex printing blank first page

  Hello everyone

  I have in my office, among other things, the printers two HP Laserjet 2015b. We use it on Windows XP, 7 and 10. Whenever I put them for the first time, I have the same problem with the drivers.

  From XP and ending with 10, there are 3 packs of drivers, PCL5, PCL6 and Psalm none of them installs ok, printers work, but there is a problem in duplex printing, gives me a headache. I try to only print only one page (for example: 1 page, current page, etc.), printers print on both sides of the paper, first white and the text on the second.

  In XP and 7 that I managed to solve the problem in a very strange way, install a software package and manually change the driver with that of another pack! For example, I installed PCL 6 and I changed in the printer properties Advanced pilot, the PCL 5 driver. And that after many attempts to find the best combination!

  Now, I have improved my work to 10 Windows 32 bit laptop and I can not solve the problem either. Any driver, I choose the 3 special indeed for Windows 10 or fom those made for 7 or XP, try to only print that one page in duplex, the printer prints on both sides of the sheet of paper, white on the first and on the second text! And I find no option in the settings of the printer to solve this problem.

  Thank you all for the advice and opinions. I did it!

  After many, many attempts, I noticed a small option "allow manual duplex", which was enabled by default, and which appeared in print (MS Word and other programms) main window only when selected duplex! Strange! I disabled it in the Advanced tab of the printer properties and everything is normal now!

  Now I can use the printer again only in "duplex" mode, and it prints a page "simplex" and the two following pages "duplex", because it suppose to do!

• Print only two pages.

  The specific information on my form button will be two last pages hidden on emphasis of form visible and set to the first field in the first page of information. The entire form has dynamic subforms and they can push, so I don't know the exact number of pages at the end I want to have a "print key" on these two pages of information that will print on their own, not the entire form. Can someone please provide assistance on this one.

  If you drag a standard print on the page button, you will see that there are eight parameters:

  xfa.host.print(1, "0", (xfa.host.numPages -1).toString(), 0, 0, 0, 0, 0);
  

  The second parameter specifies the '0' start page, like page numbers use a numbering system of zero. The first page of your form is '0 '.

  The third parameter specifies the last page to print. It is a basic calculation where xfa.host.numPages counts the total number of pages AND-1, the numbering system which brings to zero.

  All you have to do is add a line to find the page number that the "print" key (for example second plast page) and then use this information in the parameters 2 and 3.

  xfa.host.print(1,(vPage -1).toString(), (vPage).toString(), 0, 1, 0, 0, 0);
  

  The vPage will get the page number, counting from 1. The print settings then use this information to set the start page and the end page. No matter how many pages is ahead of the last two pages, this script will still display the page with the "print" button and the next page.

  Working on a book of pages 300 (ish) and two pages of the mount table is gigantic! (See attached image). Don't know how it happened, but it happened. How do I resize the boxes so that they are of the same size as any other in the document?

  

  Could be an object of outlier, out there on the pasteboard. Spreading a statement select right away, then deselect the items you want to keep and press DELETE. Export again.

  Closing Firefox, then hold down the SHIFT key and double-click the Firefox icon to open it. Click the button to Reset firefox.

  Had to reinstall the printer after a total recovery of the PC. Now the screen of the printer of the APPs is different and now includes new but it I MISS what I used to use that (as I recall) is an application that opens a screen to set up a print job:

  This is a known issue, we all see that if we have a specific application installed.

  I forgot if they said it is already solved in the next version, but it is without a doubt on their list of priorities.

  It has to do with the appearance of the printed word on paper, mostly associated with how you will link the document over (like a book or a steno notebook).  Try on a brief document (e.g., 4 pages) and see for yourself.

• Install Firefox 1 time, & all my usual Web pages are missing details, such as the grids. Does not display the box that I'm typing this!

  After installing a new SSD following a failed hard drive and reloading Windows 7, I decided to move from Chrome to Firefox. Now all my regular sites show subtle differences, as if some detail has been missed. A forum I visit is more a grid that separates each topic, etc. the author answers. When I went to ask this question here, that I had to search for the box to type in the question by moving the mouse around until it became a cursor. Formatting is bad compared to Chrome, and some links are hard to find. I tried all the suggestions I can find help and Support.

  Firefox fits Windows themes 'High contrast' differently from other browsers. You can switch to always using styles page, if you wish, even with a high contrast theme. You'd do that here:

  "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > content

  Click colors, and then change the 'ignore colors specified on the page with my selections above' menu drop down to never and OK outside. Pages should appear by using the styles specified by the site.

  That solve this problem, for the most part? There could still be some differences that remain, but that should help you get started.
