Print captioning Cp8

Hello - I want my users to have the ability to print the captioning.  My captions and slide notes are the same, so no matter they are printed slide notes and/or captioning.  I use Cp8, and it's a sensitive project.  I published a project of receptive to Cp8 with captioning.  Learners do not have the ability to print anything (slides, notes, Word doc, PPT, slide, subtitling).  There is no option to print.

How to allow users to print the notes of closed captions / slide?  I don't want users to print the slides; I want them to print text (if possible).  Did I configure in Cp8?  Do I have to transfer my notes/captioning slides into a PDF/Word and offer the document as a separate link?

I know code or Java or anything in that sense.

Thank you!

There is no way by default to set this as an option in Captivate.  I simply create a Word document that contains all the notes slide, convert it to PDF format and provide a link somewhere in the course which allows learners to download if they want.  I never did this when the client required because they were of the opinion that it is necessary.  From my experience, the learners themselves will never ask for it.

  • Legend of multiline in Lightroom CC for print output

I'm trying to determine if Lightroom CC will allow me to recreate what my Digital Imaging Work Flow to work creates.  At work, we use Capture NX and ACDSee Fotoslate - I prefer Adobe and think if I could show them that using Lightroom is a one-stop unique do better what it is we do, then I think I could convince them to spend.

I was able to duplicate almost everything on this point.  Last things I need to know are in printing of photo contact sheets.  Specifically, I'm trying to print captions and titles in the contact sheet, and each photo of numbering on the contact sheet.  For example, our current caption for each photo displays:

Date of the Photo: Photo number

    Photographer's name:

    Name of the file:

    Keywords

I am able to get all the items in the left column to view, but cannot figure out how to add line breaks to keep them justify and display below each other, rather than inline.  I would like to know how to add, if possible, the photo number justified right in the area of the legend.

Suggestions would be helpful.  I found a post for Lightroom 3 that says use Ctrl + Enter to add a line break, but this does not work in Lightroom CC - when I hit Ctrl-Enter, there just commits the changes. Yes - 0

You could start with the photo number and include in square brackets. Click my example below. You can adjust the size of cells, rows and columns, accordingly. The text editor includes brackets (parentheses) spacing, punctuation and words as tags and.

  • CP8 Interactions and slides with audio and closed captions - doesn't work well - please help

Well, I use cp8 on a 64-bit windows computer 8. I placed an interaction on a slide. I have also audio on this slide and closed captioning.

When I get to the slide, the audio is not because the mere fact that the interaction is there made the slide one break to enter. The student should I click play on the Player bar to go, but which is not required on slides without interactions, so I don't like this solution. I could also make a slide on enter play Audio and choose the wav file, but then the subtitles are not displayed.

So the question is, how do I slide automatically play the audio level of the blade without the student having to click on the play button to go? Slides with interactions should behave exactly like the other slides with objects/widgets on them. This automatic suspension thing is driving me crazy!

    Thank you

    Lori

Lori, this is confusing! You're talking about one of the learning interactions included with Captivate? If Yes, which? My amazement is due to the fact that what you described, it is what has happened to the COP6: interaction paused to slide to the first image (I got a work around for audio). But given that CP7 interactions do not hang any slide, you will need to provide the break yourself. There are a few exceptions closely (games).

  • How can I print a picture with a caption and EXIF information?

    Hello

I want to print a photo and use the legend of meta-data and information on the shutter speed, focal and so on. I realized that there is a way to print this information in the print module, but it is connected directly to the image, that doesn't look good. Question is there another way? Perhaps with Photoshop? I would like to have the flexibility I have with the slideshow Designer, where I can put the legend to the left of the image and the ISO, shutter speed and so right. Is it possible somehow?

I'm looking for an easy preset that I could apply to a large number of photos.

    Thank you!

There's a Lightroom called Mogrify addin that will make this (and much more). Just google it. It's something that you need to buy, but there is not a lot of money.

  • Print to PDF function was large now terrible with upgrade in OS and AW

Earlier this year, my lamp iMac died and I could get a refurbished iMac 21 "iSeries.

    Data sheet:

type of lamp iMac G4 (possessed and used 2013-2016)

1 GHz power PC; 256 MB DDR SDRAM

    OS X 10.3.9

iMac 21 "series (refurbished, new to me February 2016)

    3.06 dual-Core i3

4 GB RAM, 500 GB HD

    OS X 10.6.8

On the G4 lamp, I was running from AppleWorks 6.2 something (I think it was 6.2.7) (I didn't this document and now no easy way to check if I have a bunch of files that I created with it).

Classic 9 OS installed, but ended up not using it because my document (manuscript 400 p begun in 2004) AW migrated perfectly to AW in OS X, I had (and also because the classic did not really work). Printing to PDF capability has been a huge bonus.

On the iMac 21 ", I'm using AppleWorks 6.2.9. All my G4 AW files migrate successfully.

In October 2014, the G4, I got a PDF file of most of my manuscript printed in a local printing - only 5 copies for binding to rings 3 on archives 100% cotton paper. I visited several local printers to check the image quality. It has been uniformly excellent. Due to the size of the file, pages with scanned images (JPEG format) inserted in the text have been saved/printed in separate PDF. There are also a number of line drawings I created for the project by using AW draw and then pasted directly into the main document.

I spent the next 18 months, evidence of indexing and necessary to make a number of corrections. In February 2016, I've migrated to the 21 "iMac computer and started using AppleWorks 6.2.9. Everything was good. Then, in early July I demonstrated new PDFs... body text without images and separate PDF files with images exactly as before. The result was a disaster picture-wise. Resolution of PDF files for all images, including my line drawings, is unacceptable. Help! I need to get this monkey of years 12-1/2 of a project of my back.

FOR INFO. I still have the lamp, "just in case" - even if it ceased to exist, the Loft of the computer in Boston has been able to save all my files.  They sold me and set me up with the iSeries 21 "iMac.

FOR INFO. There was also a problem with some of the designs and a chart that should be revised. I ended up changing them in Pages on a MacBook, I (10.4.11) and then insert the result in my manuscript. I did previously the drawing Pages are different from that of the AW functions. No problem with PDFs of these in 2014. (FYI. I said the hard drive on this machine is unstable, but it was fine for 1-2 months time I use it. I have not AW on the MacBook).

I've done a lot to look online and see no further discussions on the problems of making a PDF from AppleWorks, well from what I read, I learned that the PDF capability is linked to the operating system and not to the software application.

No printing with AppleWorks, I need to be able to make good PDFs at home. What should I do? I plan to call the Loft computer tomorrow morning, but thought I should at least make an effort on my own first.

I have not tried a test make a PDF with an image in Word format on the computer iMac 21 ". Should I do this?

FOR INFO. The manuscript is now about 500p in two master files - text with annexes and a separate index. The document consists of approximately 30 sections with headings under execution-odd and footers start-of-chapter/annex drop folio. As I said with scanned images pages are in separate files (20 or more). The manuscript contains almost 1000 notes and numbers about 45 and 46 cards. Most of the images are photographic, to be mounted by hand, so those who just captions text box in the body of the text. I tried to move this project to several years (ca. 2007) Pages without success mainly because of the drawings I had made to the draw AW. At this point, I have to just make the final revisions, to print my PDF files and return to my local printing store.

    -Dorothea

    Hi Dorothea,

At this point, I'd put AppleWorks 6.2.9 on your Macbook, completing the revisions and print PDF files there.

Copy the AppleWorks folder (including all files it contains) in the Applications folder on the MacBook. AppleWorks will create other files, to it is executed.

Work with a COPY of your current project. Back up frequently on an external drive.

    Kind regards

    Barry
