  If your card has been used fraudulently to subscribe, you should be able to get the charges reversed with your credit card company. Not to defend the whole Adobe Customer Service, but in this case Adobe has no way to tell if it is a fraudulent use.

  We have several very large PDFs on our web site that some want to have access to print. We don't mind them print the PDF files, but want to warn with a dialog box pop up that PDF files are hundreds of pages.  Is this possible with Acrobat Pro DC?

• Adobe Acrobat Pro XI - print to PDF-broken

  Hello. I have recently noticed a problem with the printer driver PDF Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. Print all PDF functions seem to be broken.

  Web browser applications:

  Firefox (my main web browser), the print driver invites you to me which file I want to save the PDF and then the status bar for the printing/conversion process will reach 50% and display the title of the error message dialog box: error in the printer. Dialog box Message: an error occurred during printing.

  In Chrome, the print job to tempt me to a file name and after I click on 'Print', nothing would happen. No error message. No PDF file is created.

  In Microsoft Edge, the same result as directed by Chrome. No error message. No PDF file is created.

  In Adobe Acrobat Reader DC:

  Print results Adobe PDF printer in two error dialog boxes, "the document could not be printed" followed by "it has not chosen to print pages". This is despite the fact that 'All' has been selected as an option in "Pages to print" in the print dialog box.

  In the Office Applications:

  Same results according to the Chrome and Microsoft test Edge. No error message. No PDF file is created.

  In other applications:

  Thunderbird translated "an error occurred when printing"

  Notepad translated "the handle is invalid."

  The last time I could print to PDF with success was before Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Windows 10 upgrade (from Windows 7 Ultimate).

  I tried a "repair Acrobat Installation" under the drop-down help Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and despite an attempt to repair under the administrator account, it has not solved the problem.

  I do not experience these symptoms on my 3 Surface Pro, which is also running Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Windows 10 (upgrade of Windows 8.1).

  Is anyone else facing similar issues on Windows 10? I noticed another thread on a broken print in PDF format, but that one seems to be content to users of Windows 7.

  I had the same problem. Using Procmon and found that install Acrobat was written to the registry entry to distill 11 but distill has been reading the registry entry for Distiller 10. Basically, I used regedit, exported HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Adobe\Acrobat Distiller\11.0, opens the file in Notepad, changed all 11 in the tens, then imported. Worked perfect after that.

  I use OS X 10.9.5. When I want to print a pdf document was sent to me from an external source (for example, my electricity bill) the document is printed with squares where the text should be.

  Sometimes if I get an overview of printing, it will look OK but always printed with squares/no text, and sometimes it shows squares in the preview. I was not able to determine a trend.

  If there are small places where individual letters should be, it's a problem of compatibility of fonts.

  I'm the horizontal stripes on the printed pages. I cleaned 3 times, each time, the printed test results look good. I even had streaks on the pdf when I chose the print to pdf function. I ran the diagnostics and everything seems fine. I don't get the error messages.

  Not all pages have streaks. But I tried to re - print this document several times and the first page always streaks.

  Could you go to see how the printer is connected? Is it plugged into a bar supply or directly into a wall outlet? If it is in a power bar could you try plug it straight into the wall.

• Adobe Distiller crashes when opening - cannot print in PDF format

  Since the update to Adobe DC I can't print to PDF or open Adobe Distiller without crashing a few seconds later. I've read a lot about it being corrupted fonts, but I tried to uninstall all but system fonts and I always have the same question. Looks like it hangs when it reaches the Lucida Console fonts when checking for fonts, it is however a system font and I can't uninstall it. The question I have is that I can't PRINT to PDF as it just hangs up. I use a lot printing to PDF functionality in my workflow! Please HELP because it is very frustrating and I had no problem with XI. Is any way to downgrade?

• Master/detail for printing of PDF report

  My application allows end-users a way to fill a transport request via a form, separated by about 10 regions. The application consists of about 50 fields (from the table requests) and n number of transport, penetrated through tabular form in the application form. Once they complete it and send it to the transport Department, I want them to be able to generate a master/detail of the application report , with information of demand on top and all the transport on a table.
  
  The DBA installed Apache FOP and it works fine for printing the report. We are on Apex 3.2, exploiting an Oracle 11g database.
  
  So I followed this guide: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/howtos/howto_master_detail_pdf.html. I have created a master/detail form, installed Desktop Publisher BI, created the RTF template, everythng. But it is not out of what I want.
  
  When I "print" to PDF, I get only a table with transport, but no info on demand at all, even if I choose "Advanced (include session state information)" and I does not include session state information on all the variables I wanted for the output in the PDF file.
  
  Any idea of what this could be the cause? Session state disappears somehow when I print the PDF? Or is there a better way to solve this problem? Any help is welcome.

  Thanks for the tip.  It turned out that kind Reader has been commissioning in protected mode.  I changed the setting and it prints now as before.
