Hassan,

Give the PRINTER between quotation marks. then it won't work.

Add_Parameter (pl_id, 'DESTYPE', TEXT_PARAMETER, ' PRINTER)';

All other codes seems OK.

Kind regards

Manu.

  • direction of the motor controlled by the adjustment wheel

How to control the direction of the engine using the adjustment wheel, for example, if the pointer locates the negative area, the engine was reversed.  Usually the engine management is determined by AIN2 and AIN1 values in the microchip, if the value of AIN1 is larger than AIN2, the engine would turn in a certain direction, otherwise, the engine was reversed. However, I would use only Dial control to control direction. What should I do?

Oh, which means that you simply unplug the Direct SSID wireless and you should be able to print via your router LAN cable now.

  • HP LaserJet P2050 Series PCL6: How to print the mark using PCL commands

Our old system is printing of document using PCL commands, previously, only contanins text and barcode (using BARDimm), but we need now to print the mark registered with the name of the company, that the police should I use which has this symbol? Thank you.

Assuming that your old system uses PCL5. You must first issue a set of symbol code that has a mapping to the registered symbol.  The Windows Latin 5 symbol set has the R symbol maps to chr (174) or (0xAE) said in

Hex. The first publication of the code for the symbol set...

    (5 T

    and then the character itself

    0xAE

Now that the characters cannot be entered directly on the keyboard, then you will need to find a way to integrate the character in your print workflow.

Before the character himself is printed, you should choose a font. For most, if not all, printer fonts probably supports this defined symbol. For the test I used the arial font and it printed fine. The code for arial 12 pt would be...

    (s1p12v0s0b16602T

Specify police, symbol set and finally the character. When you printed the character that you'll want to come back to the police in the use and the previous symbol set OR you can print the symbol as a secondary font. If you don't know how, ask here.

I now have the idea how you would do this with PCL6. @dansdaduk can give you good (or bad) news on that.

  • Confirmation page when faxing directly from the printer, but not when fax from a computer in network

I have an Officejet Pro 8600 more network (using the wireless) all-in-One.

If I fax directly from the printer (using scanning and fax), I receive a confirmation page.

When I fax from my computer in a network (using the 'Fax - Hp Officejet Pro 8600 (network)' pilot), the status display shows 'composition', 'connection' and 'send '. However, no confirmation page is printed.

How can I set up the printer to publish one page of confirmation if the fax printer OR my computer using the wireless connection?

Thanks for your help and your time.

    Planckster

    Hi Planckster,

A report by Fax of Confirmation is an available option when sending the device itself.

When sending a fax from your PC, you can find the most recent history of fax by opening the HP software.

Click on manage the Fax setting, and click Fax history.
The screen list a report on the recent work of fax, a printed report is not an option for this task, however.

  • Cannot control printer HP 6510 directly from the computer

I use the HP - 6510 B222a printer and used to be able to control all functions directly from the computer.  All options would appear in a window allowing me to select an assignment (printing, scanning, etc.).  All of a sudden, this option disappeared and now I can only control functions of the printer from the small screen on the printer itself.  Can someone help me with this problem?  I wish I could go back to control everything directly from the computer.  In addition, there is no way to determine the levels of ink on the computer screen.  Thanks for your help.

  • How to get the driver to a parallel printer using windows update without a parallel port on my laptop?

I have an asus WL500g and I use it as a print server. On my big pc on windows 7. I managed to install the driver on the printer directly on the pc connection an update of windows to get the driver of the Sina. After installing the driver I passed it to the port by using the ip address of my router. It works, but my laptop doesn't have a parallel port, so it is not possible to obtain the driver. What can I do?

You do not want drivers for parallel port on the laptop anyway given that the laptop is not connect via the parallel port, but rather on the network. You would most likely want to install drivers on the laptop Asus print server, and then print to a network printer drivers. Download the Asus former and latter printer mftr. • Print file .rep directly on the printer, configure the application server

    Hello

I spent several hours on this forum and unfortunately not found a solution yet so hoping someone has an idea that can help me solve this problem.

Using forms/States of oracle 11g with a linux application server, we develop on windows machines. Printing reports using compiled .rep files.

We have a network printer sharing (HP) that is configured on the application server, and we can print on the correct printer directly on the application server.

Problem is when I try to print a report when executing the forms of oracle on my machine of development directly to the printer.

    I tried:

    SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY (l_repid, report_destype, printer);

    SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY (l_repid, report_desname, 'APPSERVER_PRINTER_NAME');

When I put the report_desformat in 'pdf' format I can see the reports to enter the print queue, but they do not reach a 'State' order ' print file empty. "

When I remove report_desformat, he sends in eps and as I understand it, it prints, but with bad formatting (I work remotely and run by what their colleagues say.)

CUPS 1.4.2 reference printer queue tab.

The report generates in the browser if I change the destype to produce and use web_show_document to display it as we usually do.

I understand there are solutions using a java bean or involving the installation of the software on the client computer, but my employer is unwilling to go to that direction. We have only a handful of reports that require the ability to print directly to the printer.

That someone has an idea of what the problem might be or help provide additional steps, I can take to solve problems? I have no idea how to do to configure printers, our IT Department managed this and they say, it's good so I don't know if there is a problem with what I'm doing or there was something installation related rate with this network printer.

Thanks in advanced for any assistance!

I have given up trying to use a report_desformat of pdf and paste it with the default value of the eps, after review, it seems pretty close match that generates pdf format and despite the fact that the queue on the application server throws a misprint even with the eps format it actually always draws for the good enough for now. Would be nice to know what happened here, but the problem has been resolved.

  • 8710 printer all-in-one: how to scan a document directly to the e-mail

How to scan a document directly to another email

    Hello

You must set up the first and the simple way is to use the software of the printer from your computer.

b double-click the icon of the printer on the desktop.

    (b) select scan configuration of e-mail or Assistant,

    (c) enter sender details

After that, you can send scanned image/document directly from the printer control panel and enter the recipient (s) (s) address from there by e-mail.

    Kind regards.

  • print PDFS directly to the default printer without looking at a screen

We are generating PDFs off APEX mainly using Jaspersoft.    For some reports, it would be better if we could skip the step of the 'view on the screen' and send directly to the default printer.

Has anyone seen a solution to get there?

Actually, no. It is a relatively frequent, but with no simple resolution question. What you ask for is considered a breach of huge security in web terms. Access to local resources outside the sandbox of the browser to be launched or explicitly approved by the user.

Among the possible solutions that have been suggested are:

    • Connect a printer directly to the server and the mode asynchronous feel secure by a background process.
    • Using a printer that is configured to print directly from e-mail and send the document to it (looks like another flaw of security for me)
  • Post in print, using the burst control file

    Hi all

We use the break control file to print and send. Email option works very well. But when it comes to printing, printing "PDF file not printed. 128 MB of memory is necessary to allow a direct PDF printing"in printing.

We use CUPS and this is the way that we use for printing.

    IPP://localhost:631/printers/YG_MAIN

When we try to run the same program manually, giving the name of the printer and the number of copies at 1, then we are able to see the pdf output. Other reports are normal bi publisher also works well, w.r.t. this printer. We face this problem when we run xml program, with the option of printing bursting.

    Suggestions please...

BI Publisher burst of CUPS printer uses no PASTA, out don't is converted from PDF to Postscript, it does when it is executed via simultaneous Manager.
You can put an entry in the next $XDO_TOP/resource/xdodelivery.cfg (replace with your printer):

    ipp://mycupsserver.mydomain:631/printers/MYPRINTER
    /usr/local/bin/pdf2ps -paper A4 {infile} {outfile}
