  I just bought a 8620 Pro Officeject and need to print name badges. I bought the avery 74467 product which is not a standard size paper - that's about 1/2 the size of an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.  Unfortunately, the printer does not recognize the paper and the paper size is not listed in the options of paper or find a "custom" button

  Any help would be great, I need to get these done for tomorrow!

  I don't know if you've tried or not, you might be worth a visit.

  Avery has a free software that installs in Office Word:

  Avery Wizard for Microsoft® Office

  I just checked; the model you mentioned is part of the program.

  If you do not have access to the word, I believe you can use the program online (on site), and then print the output on your printer.

  The nice thing about this version of the software, once again, assuming that you have the floor, is that the output creates a Word document format (.doc / .docx)-no types of proprietary software.

  I'm unable to print Avery name on my Office Jet 8600 N911a Badges. I use Word 2007 and have the right size set there. The printer says there is a paper size mismatch, but there is no option to choose the correct size paper. Any suggestions? Avery suggested contact HP. - thank you

  I can't print a particular display of fonts using my iMac.
  It's called pine; It looks like letters make camp fire logs. I installed it using a .ttf file.

  It displays correctly on my screen in Pages, but on my impressions, it is forward-looking summary or missing entirely.
  I tried to install a font of similar appearance called wood badge and ran into the same problem.

  Check the date of creation on the police (I found one online that says 1998).

  Some very old fonts work well with the latest software. I have this problem with an older version of Optima since the 1990s.

  Do you have (or have access to) a program that allows to convert type to outlines (such as Adobe Illustrator, for example). I do not use Pages, so I don't know if Pages can do or not.

  If you need the cast for only short excerpts of text, it may be possible to create, convert to text outline, and then import them into Pages in the form of a graph for each instance. It is not as convenient, but it might work.

  Another thing to try out of curiosity is the following. Create the document. Instead of printing directly, make a PDF file on it. (Can you export a file of PDF Pages?) Then try to print the PDF file in preview or Adobe Acrobat. See if it works.

  This probably isn't the answer you wanted, but maybe it can help a viable solution.

• How to be notified on a mistake of the printer?

  Lecturer at a University, I often trust my printer for class documents, spreadsheets, etc. My printer, however, is in another part of the building, so I still can't if the print job has been processed successfully. I know that if I check the print spooler, it could tell me if there was a problem with the work, but very often I am preparing other parts of the class and don't think to check, which means that sometimes I get my documents to see that they do not have printed correctly.

  Is it possible that OS X can warn me most obviously (e.g. through a notification) that the print job has failed? I tried Googling for a solution, but have developed in white.

  Unfortunately, this is the app (print spooler), and not yourself, who decides what can be placed in the Notification Center of El Capitan:

  I happen to use an Epson printer on my wireless network and, as you may not receive any notification.  I can watch the spooler on the dock icon and place an irregularity, as a ' ~ ' if there is an error in the printer WiFi connection, or a badge digital if there is incomplete print jobs.

  But I think it's the best we can do.

  I have a badge printer (ID Pro) and it allows to install the printer whenever I plugged into my computer. Now, I get an error message indicating
  «"Ultra driver would need UM_EMDL."» DLL", I searched all files on my C drive and cannot locate this file.  Don't know why it is missing.

  All the advertised 'free' pilot of fixation and the registry fixing software so far has not proven to be free. Any suggestions?

  2 Windows operating system you are using?

  You can try the following steps and check if it helps:

  Method 1:

  Uninstall the printer and reinstall it again.

  Step 1:

  If you use Windows 7, to remove the printer, follow these steps.

  a. open devices and printers, click the Start button, and then click the Start menu, click devices and printers.

  b. right-click on the printer you want to remove, click remove the deviceand then click Yes.

  c. If you cannot delete the printer, right-click again, click Run as administrator, click Remove device, and then click Yes. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  If you use Windows XP, you can delete the printer from the Device Manager drivers or Add / Remove programs.

  Step 2:

  I keep getting notes saying 'the service is not running' went to 'services' and enabled the number of items that seem appropriate, but I seem to be missing some key service module.

  In general, it is much more helpful if you quote the whole of the text of the error messages, without paraphrasing.

  Without more information from you, my ma conjecture guess is that you used to have a Lexmark printer (or printer Lexmark Dell-badged) and then uninstalled.

  What are the brands and models of all currently installed printers?
  Have you already installed Lexmark or Dell printer?
  What happened to your computer before the problem occurs?

  To deliver your print system to its "normal" configuration
  Click Start, and then click Run.
  Type the following in the "Open" box, and then click OK
      dependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS

  Make sure there is a space after the = sign, but not before he

  I don't really know what "instructions" may be followed.  There are a lot of 'instructions' in the old thread.

  It is also important to give the full text of the error messages, rather than paraphrase as you did.

  All I know is that you have a Canon MP240 printer which does not work because the print spooler is not running.  And the reason for which the print spooler is not running is probably because you were at the same time a Lexmark printer (or a badge printer Lexmark Dell) and this printer has been poorly uninstalled.

  I don't know if your printer Canon already worked and if he did, what happened just before it stopped working.

  You might have noted that I asked several questions of the person who initially asked to return in November.  You have answered them yourself to save time.

• Spooler problem print with my HP 8600

  My HP 8600 shows a wireless connection for my single computer at home, but when I try to print an e-mail on this computer, I get a message that says there is no installed printer.

  So I went into the control panel to try to install the printer.  A box will appear saying 'operation could not be performed.  The Print Spooler Service is not running.
