Print large doc: it is possible to specify which pages are double-sided and that are stapled

Acrobat X Standard

Windows 7 SP1 64 bit

I combined about 15 PDF and Word documents into a PDF file; each is 1 to 4 pages long.  When printing, I want to clarify what pages are double-sided and that are stapled instead of the whole document in two-sided and stapled.  The printer is a Konica BizHub 360 with the latest Win7 driver.

Backstory: I used to print each one individually, and some have been printed double-sided and stapled.  Then, they are all placed in a seminar folder in a certain order.  I assemble on a 100 files at once, so if the above action is possible it would be a big time saver.

I searched on google and forums using different search terms, but nothing specific to this was found.

There is no way within the structure of PDF files to specify for each page different print settings. You will need to print the file into sections, and change the settings for each part yourself on the print dialog box.

  • Lion and all-in - one 7180: unable to print double-sided and colourless

    Hello!

I have a HP all-in-one printer 7180 as ist almost five years. It has served me well. Using a PC, I liked print prints front and black/white, saving paper and colorink.

My daughter bought a MacBook Pro with Leopard OS last year. We failed to find out how it can print double-sided and with only black ink. The parameters of this seems to be missing.

Recently, we bought two more MacBook Pro in our family. The two OS Lion rund. I managed to print from them, but not duplex and not using only black ink.

Is it possible, and can someone please tell me how?

    Best regards, Bjoer

    Hi again Bjoern

After checking, just to correct the duplex option will be available in the menu layout unter.

Simply click Copies & Pages and page layout

There, you will see the duplex option.

  • How can you specify which pages appear in the Android to an application version and not every existing folio?

My adobe account is configured to publish on an existing iPad app. I am trying to create an Android app, but some of the features of our iPad-designed problems do not work on various Android tablets. So I've created specific to Android folios that eliminate these features. These slips are the same dimensions as the iPad folios, however, Android applications, I create recognizes that all published as downloadable folios on this tablet (designed by iPad or Android-designed). That I don't want.

Is there a way to specify which will publish the folios of what version of the app? My research shows that I needed to create a whole new folio size and specify the size when creating my controls rendering app and setting. But of course, to do this, 'you must publish at least a folio [in size] for [this size] may appear in the context menu.» (From the page on the configuration of the refunds, a limitation which seems counterintuitive and, well, stupid).

    Thoughts?

In this case, where the sheets are the same size, you must create a separate account of publication and publish Android folios to this account. Point the viewer Android on the new account, rather than on behalf of your iPad.

"Renditions" will not help you because they depend on the size of the pixels, and you are publishing the folios of the same size for iOS and Android.

  • change the order in which pages are printed

How can I change the order in which the pages of a document to print? I want to print last page first.

Please read this post then provide some details.  What printer model? What operating system? What program are you printing from?

There are generally two places that the order of the pages can be defined, but it will depend on the printer model, the operating system and the program.  The first would be in the print driver options.  Click the Advanced tab and search for "order of the pages.  The other option would be some applications allow the selection of the order of the pages in option.  For example, in Word 2010, it is in the file, Options, advanced, print, print pages in the order opposite.

  • Is it possible to see which computers are currently active on creative cloud on an individual account?

I've traveled a lot with different host families and I've lost track which computers have creative cloud on it. Is it possible to see what computers it subscribes to or is active on? And is there a way to disable remote?

Without checking the preferences menu in the desktop application of Creative Cloud on each machine there is no way for a client to see where they are currently signed. As Justin says that if you are connected on two machines and try to connect to a third computer, you are given the option of force (remote) disconnect from all other desktop platforms - but until then you do not have this option.

  • Is there a way to specify which fields are displayed in the "new contact" window in the address book, or at least highlight those that are important to me?

It would be nice if I could put together the fields in the "new contact" window in the address book, or at least highlight those that I need with bold or a different color. Is there a way? Thank you.

Thank you for your reply, I tried already with this addon. Unfortunately this would not help me.

  • Booklet printing large format Officejet 7610

How can I go about printing a brochure without the duplex accessory?  For the moment, when I choose the booklet option in the print properties or the software I'm using, the pages are all printed on one side of the paper.  I got a Deskjet 1220C used to invite me to halfway through the work of the writing it might be completed printing the other sides.  I'm under Win 8.  Thank you

    Hi diblad1,

I can't wait to hear that you have questions.  What is the Officejet 7610 wide H912a model?  This unit should have the duplex, with automatic duplex printing accessory.  The software requires this be activated through the device settings, please see the steps which can solve the problem below.  If you prefer duplex manually, you can try a generic driver.  If a generic driver is added, use the Deskjet 9800 rather than the 990c because it supports manual two-sided printing options.  Here is a link that will provide measures for this. Click here  If you have a different unit, please let me know.

Turn on accessory in the software:

    1. go to the printer and fax folder

    2. right click on the device

    3. click on printer properties

    4. on the device settings tab, click the duplexer

    5. in the menu drop down click on install, then ok

    6. try the print job with booklet, duplex options selected

    I hope this helps!

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus: double sided printing

Since the 'Windows 10' upgrade, I can access only the "manually" printing double sided documents have, while in "Windows 8.1" document double face printing functionality worked well.» I think I have the latest drivers.

After upgrading to W10, I tried to print a doco double sided and couldn't, then entered the HP support and looked the new driver relevent and had also a check to see if I had the driver the most recent it says that I do, but the problem persists.

PS: I've since deleted any reference to my printer my printer & menu devices and then added which solved the problem.

Refer to the Multiple of printer names display in the HP printer assistant.

  • How can I get my Officejet 6700 Premium to print double-sided? cc = us

Just finished new product, implemented Saturday. Sunday, I tried to copy material double sided and on the screen, it is gone as far as 1 sides face two copies. It has a duplexer at the back of the printer. He also supposed to be automatic.

Hi, the ADF does not support two-sided documents.

The duplexer is only used for printing.

  • HPlaserjet3390: My Laserjet 3390 offers more double-sided printing after upgrading windows 10

My all-in-one worked perfectly but after windows upgrade 10 I can't solitaire to print double-sided and does not

    as one more option.

How can I get print double sided once again.

Make sure the driver knows that a duplex unit is present on the printer (assuming that one is):

    • For the instance of the printer in question, bring up the printer properties dialogue.
    • Select the device settings tab.
    • Make sure the duplex unit is set to installed and not installed.

You will probably need to be logged in with administrator credentials in order to change the settings of the device.

If the device does not have a double-sided hardware unit, then you can not do Automatic duplexing, but you should be able to do duplex printing Manual (print odd sides, reinsert the paper print same sides) if the demand for source document and printer driver supports this.

  • HP Pro 8500 Prime - double sided pages print out of order

When I try to print a document in 37 page color double-sided on my first Pro HP8500, pages do not print in the correct order.  It prints (page-homepage back) 1-2 (2 is empty), 3-4 (4 is empty), 5-8 (jumps to page 6 which is blank),7-10,9-12,11-14,13-16,15-18,17-20,19-22,21-24... you get the idea.  If I send the correct document even to my B & W duplex p2015dn laser jet, it prints very well.  The document is one of the Windows editor.

I printed several times in the past, so this is something new. I have no idea how to solve this problem!  There is a LOT of waste of paper and ink having to throw in the trash.

There is a setting in the 'last page first' driver, as well as (on one side printed), page 1 is on the top, so you don't need to mix all the pages. You have the choice of the "first page first" or "last page first". On the double faces prints, is not so important.

  • Who/why recent updates include by default all PDFs to print double-sided

Until the recent updates, I had no difficulty to save and print the PDFs Online / recorded. Today, my printer (set up for printing single page) has been comandered by

Adobe PDF and entered the duplex printing when when pdf documents recent and past were printed and verified.

It IS a without NOTICE 'UNACCEPTABLE' IMPROVEMENT (?).    I was not provided with any list of "options" include/add/choose regarding behavior of default printer integrated into saved/read/new documents in PDF format. This exhausted time printer and ink with loading, notice to reverse or note to add more paper. I now have to check and clear the check box to checked for double-sided and erase the default PDF.  When the so-called same defect free document is closed and then reopened, the default status is returned to "double face".

It should be this respectful environment politically correct option must be a printing option that should check for when open and wanted to.  I wouldn't be this unannounced stupid assumption, badly thought, aspberger-teckie forced to conduct good consumer and needs.

You would probably better this ad in the appropriate forum for Acrobat, but it has certainly not been any feature added by Acrobat, Adobe Reader, Adobe or PDF file format to save some default printing type in a document.

When it is called, the Acrobat / print drive dialog box will usually use the most recently used settings. So, if I print a.pdf duplex, unless I have change the setting, it will print the next print job, whether as a.pdf or b.pdf duplex. If after printing a.pdf duplex, I print b.pdf as simplex and then try to print again a.pdf , the print dialog box shows simplex, not the duplex setting on I already used to a.pdf.

Not environmentally friendly, politically correct option is forced on you or someone else.

You can check your printer driver settings. They can be the source of the symptoms that you observe.

  • Windows cannot connect to the printer. The name of the printer has been correctly entered, or the specified printer has lost its connection to the server.

A Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition SP2 32-bit computer is a field, the file and print server.

A computer on the domain is a machine of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit with HP DesignJet 500 24 printer connected via USB.  The printer is running the latest firmware.  The PC is running the latest 64-bit drivers with no problems to the host machine printing.  The host also has the latest drivers 32-bit (x 86) installed by downloading by other computers on the network.  The printer is configured to share with the share name of HPDJ500.

Now, on a machine Windows XP Pro SP3 32 bit on the field, I'm trying to connect to the shared printer.  Add a printer > click Next in the wizard of > check "a network printer or a printer attached to another computer" and then click Next > click on "Find a printer in the directory", then click Next > click Find now > HPDJ500 in the list below (the XP machine can see the shared printer on the Windows 7 computer!) and click OK.  At this point, I get an error that says: "Windows cannot connect to the printer.  The name of the printer has been correctly entered, or the specified printer has lost its connection to the server.  For more information, click Help. »

Alternatively, if I right-click on the HPDJ500 printer listed, then click on connect, I get the same error message but I also see a separate window that says "Connecting to HPDJ500 on H2.ws.net" with the lively projector.  This window also disappears as soon as I clear the error message.

Please note that this printer worked perfectly as a printer shared, hosted on a machine XP 32 bit on the field.  It works perfectly for the new Windows 7 64-bit machine, but we cannot connect from anywhere else on the network (including the server which translates the same exact error message).  On the server, I also preinstalled drivers thinking there was a problem with a 32-bit computer, trying to grasp the correct drivers from the host 64-bit Windows 7, but that doesn't change anything.

    How connect to this printer?

Try using the path UNC path of the printer in the Add Printer Wizard.

Add a printer > network printer > connection to this printer ((deuxieme point)

Click next to browse (leave blank, the name field) or type the UNC path of the printer (i.e. \\Computername\Printername) path
