• Photosmart 5510 requires the color cartridge to print in black

  I have an Imac running MAC OS X 10.7.5 and a HP Photosmart 5510.

  I can't select a black and white printing other than "regular, fast rough, black and white paper.

  QUESTION: Why are there no "plain paper, best option, black and white"? Or should I ask, where is the ordinary paper, the best black and whitee option?

  Surely each printer must be able to print the last option.

  To satisfy my need for a good level of black and white print that I have to use the color cartridges - it is expensive.

  I would be grateful for any help.

  To print graphics or the text of quality 'Best' the printer uses color ink.  In the case of text, the color ink is printed black to improve the darkness and roughness of the edge.  (Color ink makes printing 'together' more quickly, reducing the purge on the edges).

  For graphics, the printer uses drops color printing black or gray printing mode best because it gives much better graphics.  The color ink droplets are much smaller than the black.  When the color ink is used for printing in grayscale or B & W graphics, the results are much thinner that the result would be in black ink only.

  If the quality does not matter (much) draft mode provides the best economy, but for a better print quality, color ink is necessary.

  So this basically everything has started about 8 hours ago... I feel something and he said all of a sudden there was a problem with my print head, it took me about 2 hours of cleaning and resetting the printer over and over again, and I was finally able to get it fixed. Then I had a paper jam and all pulling the paper jam, I accidentally pulled the Ribbon plastic, it took me 4 hours to fix this. So now these two are fixed, and I put my printer together again (I had to take part to fix the plastic Ribbon), and all of a sudden it says the ink cartridge access door is open... WHAT? ... well, it's 3:00, I just want to see if my plastic Ribbon works correctly, so I stuck a q-tip inside the hole that tells the printer the door is closed. NOW... I get error 0xc19a0025... "Please turn printer market again..." I've done several times, nothing changes. I unplugged the printer to the back to the wall, etc. I'm out of options. The strange thing is that this has never happened before. I never even got a paper jam (unless I was two-sided printing, which is a big no, no for this printer for some reason any). I need help, I rely on my printer every day and now he thinks that my door is open and when it isn't, something just seems to go wrong. Please someone give me a solution

  Thank you for your answer, but I gave up and decided to buy a new printer. I called HP and they said that they could offer me the 7520 cheap, so I went ahead and took the case. They also told me that my printer was most likely a hardware problem and that it would cost more to repair than to buy a new printer, that's why I decided to give up and buy a new one.   I often get the ciphertext (unreadable - seems foreign) and the text in the same document. Most often occurs with the docs of online sources, Bank and credit cards, statements etc. The "fixed part" of the doc may be correct, but the data are scrambled.

  I printed only 4 copies of a pdf document on my computer.  3 copies were OK, but 1 copy had changes of fonts - some characters Arial bold was bigger and it should be, and a signature in written characters came out in a block font, maybe Arial regular, which was not used in the doc at all. It's 4 copies printed together, not individually.

  Windows professional XP SR3, a Home Office built without other problems, connect the cable from the printer to a Netgear WPS router. I have the printer set up for cable, wireless not printing, even though it often claims with me on this subject.  Firefox browser. Scribus DTP

• Create a group of two separate reports on a dashboard

  I have a dashboard consisting of guests (several filters) and two separate reports below that the display of the results according to the selected criteria. Please make suggestions if it is possible to change the dashboard so that I would have a group (one of the filters) placed above this group and two reports would be applicable to these two reports.
  
  For example, one of the filters is store #. If I select two stores, then both reports display the information summarized for those two stores. However, I would like to have a breakdown of these reports for each individual store. The dashboard should show #1 and two Store associated with this followed Store #2 #1 store and two reports associated with this #2 store.
  
  Any suggestion is appreciated.

  I'm confused by what you say. Please explain how you organize the reports in sections and columns for I can get a better idea of what you're trying to do.

  If you want to print at the same time the "3 reports" for a store, you can do something like this. (Even once, I cannot understand your needs after the last post, so please explain if this isn't answering your question.)

  One thing you could do is put to all the columns of your three reports in view of criteria. Then, you can create 3 PivotTables with each report with only the columns for this particular report. Now you can put all pivot tables three compound mode set by giving 3 reports on the store in question.

  When you print, the three reports will print together.

  BTW, do not use this method, the Store column must be in the Pages section of the PivotTable. You must select each store, but when you do, you'll have three reports corresponding to this store together in one place.

  My book is finished, but the Professor us advised to make a new document and put it in a drive to spread, that is really just moving all the stuff that I have more in the new document, while keeping an additional empty page, which makes everything from the left page, go to the right.

  in any case, I have objects that cross the border in the next page when I do that. It is not a huge problem on some pages, but on others it is. So I am looking for a way to make more independent pages. I prefer not to have them separated, because of this project, she we back every page on itself. Demonstrate this by taking two pieces of paper and fold it in half to make a blank booklet. Now numbered the leaves from on the outside front, setting the pages until you get to the back outside, then open and separate the booklet and unfold the sheets.

  You CAN do this kind of taxation by hand by dragging pages autour in the Panel, but you shouldn't really because it is prone to error and printing booklet or a script will do it for you automatically. If you use a script or do it manually you must be sure that you check the "spreads" box in the print dialog box for each Board to be printed together on the sheet. Impose a document for release is a big mistake, as mentioned above. Only the printer is in a position to know how it must be imposed to fit his material (it may need 8 or 16 pages on each side of the paper, or some other number, depending on the size of the page and press), and if you do it incorectly it must cancel or ask you to resubmit the case without imposing because it cannot cancel it and one of these cases will cost you the extra money.

• Printer 6510 problem to put back together again!

  Hi all.  I had a printer jam on my photosmart HP 6510. After several attempts, I was able to clear the jammed paper, but in doing so, I had to lift the printer by hand under the printer to clear some paper to the back of the lower part of the tray of the printer.   Some of the components of the printer (which resembles a pair of wheels of runner grey rubber attached to a kind of shock absorber and a spring) are now coming out of the bottom of the printer. I don't see how to adapt these components back where they are part of the suggestions? Thank you, (see attached photo)

  It took me a little bit, but I think that I thought about it. At one point, I thought that I had broken the 6510 I used to reproduce the problem

  Remove the piece of plastic far enough to push back the roll under it. You will need strength a little, but not enough to break the plastic.

  

  Then look the other way;

  There is a small black piece that sticks up (like a post), he goes to spring (you may need a flashlight to see it better). Now the Board will push all the way back in the printer and Voila! Fixed!
