• HP4620 black cartridge does not print

  My HP4620 all in one - the black cartridge will not print.  I encountered this problem in the past, but it has been resolved with an ink cartridge.  However, this time I replaced the new cartridge and still the black will not print.  I did all the diagnostic tests, use the PIN to clear the vent cleaned as advised printer heads.  This printer is only 16 months old and is not heavy use.  Solution, please?

• 10.8.3 OSX don't rest not in mode "sleep" after the installation of the wireless HP4620 printer

  I installed the HP4620 wireless printer, now OSX you waking up from his sleep after about 15 minutes, it didn't happen until I installed the HP4620.  So I opened a terminal and did a search for why the printer wakes up, the result was:

  Wake up the reason: GLAN HDEF EHC2

  I couldn't find any information about it, so I turned off and unplugged the printer, then turn on the computer sleep (which "now takes about a minute to sleep), now OSX wakes up after 45 minutes. So with the printer off and it's wake up yet, I think it must be something to do with the HP software installed?

  Does anyone else have this problem?  Any suggestions to correct sleep would be appreciated.

  Thanks for the reply but reset the SMC did not work, I have reinstaled 10.8.3 OSX then the printer and sleep works again.  Forgot to mention, I am running a Hackintosh on a Gigabyte H77N-wifi Board but never had any problems with sleep or HP printers, it not was not up to what I have installed the HP4620 sleep has become is down with insomnia.

  My wireless HP4620 printer keeps falling.  I used the WPS button for a wifi connection.  Tried to PIN verson also and same thing, the network connection drop after a few days.  I have configure WPA2 authentication via the web interface, but does not seem to do anything.  I have a model from Verizon Wireless Router A90-750015-07 number.  Any suggesstion is appreciated.  Thank you.

  You can update your firmware printer through the web interface.  When connected, get the IP address and use your browser to access, for example... http://192.168.x.x.  From there, you can do the update of the firmware. BUT until you do that, go to the area of networking and configure your wifi connection and assign a static ip address and give it a DNS address (address of your router).  You can't do the updte of the firmware without the DNS address.  That's what did the trick, I think.  Without the DNS, it will introduce the network every 48 hours (seems to).  My printer has stay connected for a week now.  Good luck.

  There should be a button on the front of your printer ePrint.  Tap the ePrint, and the web services menu should appear.  From there, it will ask you to activate the web services, or it will let you print a new page of the statement/report that will give you the print code.  If you need help more, let me know.

  HP AiO remote, select your scanner, and then click the gear icon to access its settings.

  Set the input document and Scan source, a PDF file will be saved in the swction of Documents within the option Print/Share of the app.

• Printer all-in-one HP4620

  The problem started with a paper jam, I cleared the jam and it doesn't seem to be a problem with that.  The problem is really that the printer does not print black.  I did the following:

  1A pulled the plug of power for 1 minute and rreconnected.

  2 bought 2 new ink cartridges

  3 examine the ink for the debris path - no

  4. clean the print heads according to the 3 times.  Cleaned two levels each time.

  5 examined the cartridges to ensure bands, or other stuff left.

  HP has included the print cartridges until the 4620 heads.  Now the 4620, they are part of the printer and not able to be changed.  New design printers allow the print heads be changed or moistened with warm water to release blockages.  The solution to THIS probem is to buy a new printer that allows editing of the print heads.

• OfficeJet HP4620 All - In - One Printer (printing of the photo)

  Migrated to a Photosmart in one Officejet and, even if I'm happy overall, I find the 4620 Officejet does not print photos very well at all.  Two questions:

  1. in case the Officejet print a photo on photo paper as well as the Photosmart?

  2. If the answer to question 1 is Yes, then can someone provide me with a correct installation sequence?  I tried the standard stuff (but no, I can't change the pixels beyond 600 - although this should be sufficient.  Any thoughts?

  The photosmart line has an additional photo for the best photo printing cartridge. The officejet line is designed for the small office where they would not necessarily print a lot of pictures. You should always get a good quality, printed photo of the Officejet printer. When you print to make sure that you have the preferences of printer defined on the appropriate paper type and make sure that you print in optimized mode. Let me know if you need assistance?

  Hardware: Dell desktop

  Operating system: Win7 64 bit "of origin".

  Note: 'print page' and other wireless diagnostic ePrint tool work very well.

  Problem: Unsable of printing from Microsoft Word doc.

  Popup Error Msg:

  "Unable to communicate with the printer.

  "The print job failed because the printer is not connected or not available. Check your cable or Wi - Fi and make sure the printer is powered on and ready. »

  This problem may occur just after I just sent a test print the ePrint tool page.

  Summary:

  HP ePrint diagnostic tool works very well, including the test page.

  Printing from Microsoft Word Gets the error msg.

  The same Word doc file prints with hp 8100, in the same room, using the same wireless ePrint network, as described above with hp 4620

  Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you encounter an error when you try to print envelopes using your printer Officejet 4620.

  The steps on how to load envelopes, then print to them be found in your user's Guide.  There are instructions for Windows and Mac.  "Printing on envelopes" starts at the bottom of page 32 and continue on page 33.   You get the error message makes me believe that the correct paper type was not properly chosen via the software program you use and the instructions in the User Guide should help you solve the problem.

  Everything is good with my printer wireless HP 4620... except, when I copy a paper it comes out too big and not is not on one page.  Scanning and printing works well, it's the COPY feature... where should I go to the default value of the smaller COPY?

  Sorry you had a problem with the copy not copy not full size.

  1. press the copy button.

  2. press the button (key) tool.

  3. then go to resize

  4. change to actual size.
