Printer will not print a specific document
We have a HP Officejet Pro K5400 colour printer that we use for office color printing. I have problems printing to a PDF that I printed several times with this printer. It is a document, I created in publisher and tried to print directly from publisher with no luck as well. It gets only ready to print and then feeds the paper with no impression. I can print any other documents very well with the printer. I unplugged the printer to do a hard reset. Help!

We know not if you want to scan in receipts in the form of images or text.
Regardless of the end point, the following might help.
With the complete installation of the software functionality for the printer and assuming a recent version of the Windows operating system, you should have the shortcut Wizard printer installed on your desktop.
Double-click the Printer Wizard shortcut > scan a Document or Photo >
Select Photo of Document OR file file (as you prefer) >
This starts the process to create the sweep.
On the side right of the menu, under the Scan size >
Select, in the menu dropdown > any scanning area
The rest of the selections can generally be left as default values, even if it's for you and your situation.
- In order to ensure that the results meet your expectations, do not forget that the scan preview is CHECKED.

The printer again no recent changes done & not had this problem before. Cannot print anything now.
Hello
From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R. In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.
Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.
Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.
Restart the computer and you should find that the document has been deleted.

When press comes out to check for a new document, it is not highlight any misspellings or grammar and reading - 'Spelling and grammar verification.» Has been ignored, text marked with "do not check spelling or grammar"".» Actually, it checks the document and I don't know how to cancel it?

My old HP Scanjet G3010 used automatically set up a new folder each month inside the main "My Scans" folder and automatically send the documents to the current monthly folder and would automatically name the docs (scan0001, scan0002).
It seems that the HP 8600 most does not. Is there a place to put in place a framework, or is this not possible with this device?

The Officejet Pro 8600 series uses different drivers than the series Scanjet. For the Officejet, you should be able to change the base file name (while this isn't always 'Scan' 001) and the destination folder. I'll check on mine and see if it creates a new folder for each month.
If it does not create a folder new month, then you should be able to use the scan of third party software that can provide the same functionality. Otherwise, you can create a new folder each month yourself and set it as the default scanning directory.

Why numbered lists will not continue between the documents in a book?
Dear community InDesign,
I am nearing completion of a volume of 1100 page, organized in book form in ID CS6 (OS X) composed of about 15 different documents. According to the excellent orientation in those discussions, I used a paragraph style to generate via the numbered lists figure captions.
For some reason, numbered lists restart between sequential in the book chapters, while I need them to continue between the blocks specified documents. Please note that I already have:
- Define continues numbered lists from previous documents
- Go to Type > > bulleted and numbered lists > > define lists > > edit list to verify that 'continue Document numbers in previous book' is checked
- Synchronize all documents in the book and updated the numbering via the book panel
- Read a lot of discussion on this site to try to locate this problem without success (but if you have a lead, I'm more excited to see)
Any suggestions would be welcome; I put things up through the proverbial book, and it seems that simply check the box "Numbers continue" should be enough, but it isn't.

There is a Update Page and Section numbers - and there is also an "update chapter and paragraph numbers.
Thing is to check that the numbering is set to follow the previous book - and then refresh the chapter and the numbering of the paragraphs.

New HP ENVY 7640 will not feed for scanning documents. It transmit documents in copy mode but not when you try to scan several pages.

The documents will not be printed.
The Adobe documents will not print. I tried to turn off the printer and the computer for specific hours. I tried to reinstall and setting of the software. I tried printing an image. I tried to download the document and re-register under a different name. Adobe documents simply do not print after the end update of last week (end of October 2014). I CAN print everything, EXCEPT Adobe documents. How can I get the Adobe documents to print again?
A colleague stumbled on a solution on my end. He went to the start menu and open devices and printers. Make a right click on the printer is the printer that is having problems. Click printer properties. Click on the Advanced tab click Print Processor... and 2 columns appeared on my end. The selection on the left side was 'hpzpplhn' and was changed to "winprint". After this change, documents pdf printed for me. I hope this helps others with this awful frustration of the update from Adobe!

I had a paper get stuck in my printer 1310 series. I disabled the jam but it is still showing as a paper jam and will not display 6 documents in the queue
If it still shows paper jam and you know that there is no paper, just turn it works, and it should realize that there is no paper.

HP Officejet J4680 series: all-in-one HP Officejet J4680 series will not print Word documents
My HP Officejet J4680 all-in-one ink jet printer will not print in Word 2010 documents. It will print .pdf and Excel 2010 documents. I ran printing HP and doctor Scan and check it and put to date and said all is fine. Just around checking on my computer it said in the devices that the printer is ok. I printed the test from the doctor of Hp Plug and it came out ok. Seems so that Word documents are the only problem. I installed Windows 10 earlier so not totally sure that's the problem I don't remember if I used the word since installation up to now.
I bought this printer in 2010 and have had no problems with it and I can tell you that I have printed a large NUMBER of pages.
Any ideas how to get this printer working?

XPS Viewer will not print document
Judging from the research, it is a common problem but there are no answers available.
I have consulted a XPS document with the last version of the viewer that is downloaded and installed. My .NET framework is updated and I am running Windows XP SP3.
Other applications you can imagine will be printed on my printer HP Laserjet network with no problem, but when I click on print in the XPS Viewer, I get a box of message that says "the Viewer cannot print all pages in the document. Check that the printer is correctly installed and that you are authorized to use this printer. »
It is that I do and it works all that I installed.

I suggest that you can open the control panel and access the printers and faxes and delete all printers, if you find Microsoft XPS document writer from the list, you can remove it with the exception of the HP printer and try to print the XPS document and check if it works very well.
If the deletion of other printers does not help, you can try to remove the HP printer, then restart the computer. Later, reinstall the HP printer and try to print the XPS document and check if it helps.
