  I assume you actually mean that you have a printer HP Photosmart 8250?

  This printer is essentially - not * really * supported by HP to the title of the edition of Windows that you are using.  That's about what I believe it means when you choose the operating system on the Web of HPs site for your printer and you get the, "installation of the product with the USB cable and using the driver located in the Windows operating system _»<-- they="" gave="" some="" generic="" universal="" driver="" to="" microsoft="" for="" distribution="" and="" you="" might="" get="" it="" working,="" but="" it="" may="" not="" have="" all="" the="" features="" you="" used="" to="" have="" in="" an="" other="">

  One thing probably listed in these forums is to replace the printer inherited by a support by the manufacturer of equipment under an operating system, that you have chosen to run... That failed?  * smile *.

  Honestly - reviews and other for this printer back in 2004 I can say - it means that this printer is old enough (although more recent you).  I'm shocked they kept alive that long, really.  Looking at the Vista drivers and others, later are of March 2007, over 5 years.

  I think you you would save a lot of time and invest in a newer printer that is designed to work with modern operating systems, :-) grief

  I have loaded windows 8 pro on my computer laptop dell studio. Our Dell 720 printer stopped working during this period of transition. I tried to reload the driver but it does not seem to have loaded onto the laptop.

  It won't be Windows 8 drivers for this printer. You can try this, it may or may not work.

  First run, delete print jobs to eliminate any print job stuck in the queue.

  Unplug the printer.

  Download and run the patch (cleaning printer utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.

  Restart your computer. Make sure that the printer is deleted. Deleting Manual printer driver

  Download the 32-bit drivers for Windows 8 32 bit Vista or 64-bit drivers for 64 bit Vista Windows 8. Install the Vista drivers in Vista compatibility mode, you will get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at the moment (power on).

• Network printer won't work with Windows 7

  I upgraded Vista to Windows 7 laptop, three days ago. Previously, running Vista, I printed on my LAN (based on a Netgear DG834G v.2) on an OKI C5250n printer. But I can't make my computer Windows 7 see the printer. An another XP computer prints normally.
  The Working Group is called MSHOME and my new Windows 7 is apparently set to share on the same workgroup.
  If I try to 'add printer' I get a warning that I can't do "due to restrictions on this computer" and I need to see my system administrator - that is me and I don't have what it can refer to!

  I succeeded in printing by connecting directly via the USB port, but has not recently by a spoolsv.exe problem (which I asked a separate question).

  Please can you suggest my next steps.

  The printer is configured to use the same port it was Vista, namely the TCP/IP port.

  You are prompted to do so by your indication of a faulty print driver, I have installed the latest on the OKI web site but the printer fails to operate on the network. Next step is OKI technical services I guess.

  For nearly a year I used a VBS script to open and 'silent print' a PDF to the default printer - the script continues to work on machines using drive X but with drive x 1 I see a message saying that the path is not valid

  I can paste the address C:\MostRecent\MostRecent.pdf in windows Explorer and adobe correctly opens the file and I can print it then manually.

  I would point out that this script vbs has worked for a long time before reader X 1 set to day - my client will not consider return to older readers of adobe

• 'Only form fields' print won't work on scanned in PDF format

  I am a lawyer and when I complain, I need to use a blank form of the Court which has a seal on it.  I want to avoid having to use a typewriter every time, so what I would do is: (1) analyzes the empty in Adobe Acrobat complaint, (2) fill in name, address, etc. in areas by using the function 'Add text', (3) place the complaint sealed, empty in my bin of the printer, and (4) print only the fields that I entered (i.e. address (, name, etc.) so that they overlap perfectly on the designated areas of the complaint of seal.  In theory, this plan works perfectly.

  I tried to add the text to the help > modify PDF > function add text, I add all of the fields that I have to, and when I go to print "form fields only" throughout the document is empty.  The only way these fields will be printed is if I choose 'Document', 'Document and marks' or 'Document and Stamp' of the section comment and forms of print screen, however this displays the entire form and I want only their name, address, etc. that I filled out in Adobe (because I already have the blank form in my printer).

  I use Adobe Acrobat DC trial and running Mac OS 10.9.

  That you add are not of form fields, which explains why it does not work.

  To add form fields you must go to the form view change via Tools - shape, and

  then, use the add new field there.

  but nothing comes up so I click load drivers and it gives me just loads of records at random... and I don't have any idea those to load

  If the problem is the software installed, start Notepad in safe mode and try to start restoring the system from there.

  Just bought new PC and it has Windows 7.  Old HP LaserJet 5 p printer has always worked with last PC (XP).  This printer uses the parallel so purchased and plugged port with a parallel to USB printer cable.  Thought everything was cool when it seemed that the printer was recognized as "new device" but would not print my Word document.  Review of the Panel's PC recognized some other strange printer, so it has been deleted and I used the troubleshooter to find and download the old printer driver.  PC now shows the correct printer but my documents still won't print.  What can / should I do for these 2 working together?  Don't want to have to buy a new printer just to get something that works with 7.

  I was too frustrated. Finally, I solved the problem. I bought a parallel to USB cable head Gear. First attempts do not work. Unplug the printer from the computer. That removing all printers (some I just created trying). Make sure that you do not have the test pages in the queue (cancel all), otherwise impossible to remove printer. Also update windows drivers (to add the printer section). Turn off the computer. Connect printer USB available on the computer again. Turn on computer. And. You DID!
