• OK... I see that to print the address book, you go to address book, files, print address book. BUT there must be a way to print on one page instead of 13.

  In preview mode before printing of book of addresses, I changed R margin at 6 so that I don't have to print long lines dividing addresses. I dropped the top & bottom margins a.2 I also changed to 50% and uncontrolled of headers and footers. Now is it possible that I can copy and paste this into a spreadsheet so that I can put addresses in columns and not have to waste so many sheets of paper to print it? Is there a way to remove the spaces between the lines, even delete the line between addresses? Is it possible to record the actual list in my computer... .not in csv or txt form... just a list?

  I printed a book of opening a few days ago and found out that today ' today (March 31) is the last day to print the document to open. Is this right?

  If Yes, can anyone suggest me some walk to handle this situation? I love this program and I would use it in the future.

  Yes, Apple has sent warnings to clients, printing products will be is no longer supported for Aperture and iPhoto, only from the new Photos.app.

  You have several options:

  • You can save your photo in the form of PDF files opening books and then take the PDF file on a local printer and have received their accreditation and related or download the PDF file to a different service.
  • You can continue to work with Aperture, but create your books on Photos to print by Apple.  A way to share your photos with Photos would be to create an album with the photos you want to use, and then export the album as a new Aperture library and open this partial Photos for Mac library.

  The only downside would be that Photos for Mac does not support custom page layouts. It offers a multitude of themes, but we cannot change the templates for pages.

  In any case, you cannot print Kindle books. Nobody here does not tell you how to remove DRM and exist themselves to this piracy in a public forum.

• How to print a book on both sides of the page with the zoom.

  Hi I have a book of 100 small pages in book format and I want to print this book on both sides of the paper with two pages per side.

  I use windows XP and adobe acrobat reader XI version greater than 11.0 and an old printer.

  I tried to do and print two pages on one side by selecting multiple option in the layout, but there is no zoom I mean very tiny were printed and the remaining space was wasted.

  Then in order to print the even pages on the one hand and the odd pages on the other side, I tried to print the odd pages first in vain, I mean that all pages have been printed by also including the odd pages.

  Hi Rupesh,

  To print the file to the scale, you can set the value in % in the impression under custom scale option dialog box.

  For double-sided printing click the properties button next to the printer you selected.

  Here you will get all the print properties that a printer supports.

  You can choose to print both side if it is available.

• Cannot print a book or several files in FrameMaker 12

  I installed FrameMaker 12 as part of the Technical Communication Suite. I encounter the following printing problems:

  Unable to print multiple files

  To print a file, the file must be open and in home (so in the screenshot below, I can print only Orca_AcquireLine_Content)

  However, if I select several files of the book...

  

  .. then select print the selected files , I get the following error and FrameMaker crashes:

  

  The two selected files are then saved as files recovery.

  Impossible to print a book

  If I select book to print the correct files in the book are automatically selected (in this example, that orca_acquireline_dochistory is defined to exclude from printing) but nothing happens

  This option works very well.

  What is the point of FM version? The most recent is 12.0.3. The initial version had a problem when printing the book file.

  For the creation of PDF files, save it in PDF format is now recommended instead of printing to pdf.

  I remember seeing another post on this subject and I can't find it now, but none of the solutions mentioned he worked for me, so this is:

  I'm working on a migrated book of FM 9 to 11 of the FM, and when I print to PDF, I specify bookmarks I want to display in the tab favourites of the dialog Configuration of PDF for the selected files . The PDF file prints fine, but when I want to print the book once again, FM does not remember my settings, forcing me to set bookmarks from scratch every time. This has proved quite painful because I'm working with an old book in which the styles are not intiutive, so try to remember all of them each time is not the best of pleasure. When I print a single file in the book, the settings are saved correctly.

  In the previous post, I remember reading that it was a bug in FM and try the following suggested solutions (of which none worked): switch mode structured; Save the position desired in a single file in the book, printing the document and then print the book (had to train FM Recalling settings for the whole book); except the right to book after it prints; Select all the files in the book and record in PDF format, as opposed to the selection of the book, and then file > Save as PDF.

  I would be happy to know if anyone has any ideas or if Adobe is planning to release a patch for this problem.

  It is my understanding that FrameMaker uses the setting stored in the first document in the book when creating a PDF of a book. Then, open the first file in the book and make a PDF, defining your bookmarks you want for the whole book. Then, create the PDF of the book. Check the settings before clicking Print to make sure that they are what you want. You may need to make some changes, but to remember them the next time.

  I work with FM 9, so this may not be relevant for FM11. I felt it necessary to open the PDF Setup dialog box every time I make a PDF of a book and click on save/OK/whatever, to make sure that the bookmarks are created correctly. The settings are still correct, no change is necessary; but I think it is necessary to open the dialog box and close it to get updated bookmarks indented correctly in the PDF file. It may have been fixed in FM11.

  The book module is not intended to work as a printer book directly. Only through Blurb or PDF for export.

  For about a week, I have the following problem with my HP Color Laser Jet CP1215: after 2-3 pages of printing, the device stops abruptly in the middle of a job and the light number 5 (paper) continues at the flashing light.

  However, the bin is full with paper.

  Ignitions and extinctions help only for another 2-3 pages, then printing will stop again as described above.

  Is there maybe a photoelectric cell that needs to be cleaned or a mechanical part that gives the status of bad paper from the paper tray to the printer?

  I can see how frustrating it would be. To determine the cause, we need to use more than one document. Redundant that some steps may seem, I would execute all.

  Please, try the steps in this these guides:

  • HP Laserjet CP1215 and printers CP1217 - 'paper ' Error Message is displayed and the printer does not look upward or feeding paper.
  • The Paper Jam flashing on HP Color LaserJet CP1215, CP1217 printer.

  If the problem persists, try a hard reset:

  • Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.
