printing two Officejet 6000

HP Officejet 6000 wireless

I am unable to get the duplexer to work. The duplexer is installed correctly. The properties of the printer confirms that it is installed.  When I try to print, there is no option to double printing automatic two sided. The manual says 'enable' the duplexer by simultaneously pressing the red arrow and network buttons but the 6000 wireless is not a network button.

Someone knows how to help?  Thank you.

Ok

We therefore see progress and now know that the equipment is working correctly, the problem lies in Word or its settings...

Do you use the Word dialogue box to set duplex printing?

From within Word, click file > print and make sure the correct printer is selected.

Click on properties / settings to access the printing preferences page.

Open the page layout tab, you see the ability to print on both sides?

If if try setting it and print the document, then check for the difference.

If you encounter a problem, please specify as detailed as possible, for example the options are not listed for double-sided printing, the options are listed and selected, but will not have a place?

Also try a new document empty and check for the difference to deny a problem of document...

Finally, I would say that the Word Document size A4 or letter, a size not supported as example can prevent duplex printing.

Please let me know, any amendment, as well as the results, if the problem persists.

  • To understand how the situation report of the printer hp officejet 6000

Product number CV051, Vista 32-bit.  Earlier today, a telephone support had run me uninstall3 and then reinstall (my printer print an alignment page after each print job).  The initial problem was solved, but now says my printer HP solutions Center is disconnected.  I can and have printed documents.  The printer is connected of course.  So I ran a Printer Status Report.  This report argues that the network status is offline, and Active connection type is none.  Is that what it means that the printer is not connected?  If so, how can I solve this problem?  (Although it is a newly installed printer this printer was purchased for more than a year and is no longer under warranty.  I used my support call a phone to solve the problem of alignment page).  Please note: I am really a Novice!

    susana1027

    Hey Susana,

You are assuming that this network status 'offline' means that the printer is not connected to the network. Have you set up this printer on the wireless network again? Also how this printer currently connected to the printer (wired or wireless)? IM waiting for run the HP Print & Scan Doctor to see if he is able to solve your problem. If it does not solve the problem, post back with new details and will continue from there.

    Thank you!

  • HP Officejet 6000 - print hanging folders.

Desktop computer is an iMac (mid 2007) operating system is Mavericks, printer is Officejet 6000, driver is version 9.4, responsible for July 2014.

Printing became a bit strange.  A simple page one or two print takes a few minutes to start printing, but after printing, the print file remains in the queue for several minutes.  If I connect before the deletion, it is printed before the machine stops and on the road again after delivery, and it remains in the queue. Even if I remove it from the queue and then sign out, another copy of the file is printed.  Subsequently that it disappears, but it takes a long time.

If it is relevant (I'm not sure), the "usb" process runs constantly, used by the user _lp (as shown in activity monitor) and use about 35% of the time processor.

Anyone have any idea, what could be the problem?

  • Print Officejet 6000 occupies more of the page when printing duplex

My printer is set by default to duplex print. Whenever I use my 6000 Officejet to print two-sided document printing starts just below it should be at the bottom of this page which he finished much lower than when printing a single page (from the same document).

For example: if I choose to print a page only from multiple paged it document prints fine, exactly as displayed on the screen. However if I choose to print pages 1 and 2 then printing starts at about 5mm below printing and print finishing 15 mm below where it should be. There is no difference in the width of the impression.

  • HP Officejet 6000 wireless E609n double-sided printing Option not available

I have the printer above with a duplexer. There is no available duplex printing option in the print dialog box.  If I open the application HP Officejet 6000 E609n, under settings > Options tab > printing HP accessory two-sided (duplexer) is not checked. When I check it, then the duplex printing option is available in the print dialog box. However, after a print job with two back, the option is no longer available for further work. Reopening of the HP Officejet 600 E609n application reveals that the two box HP-sided accessor (duplexer) printing automatically returns to the off State.

  • Cartridge, HP 920 XL: Wireless HP Officejet 6000, the problem of black ink printer

I have a HP Officejet 6000 wireless printer.  It's 2nd HP 920 XL cartridge that has not worked.  It does not show that it is empty, but it will not be printed.  Our school cannot afford to replace these at this rate.  Please let me know what to do to make this work correctly.

I removed the printer as my default so that I could use another printer.  When I ran the program again to check for problems, the guest asked me to add the printer returned as default.   When I reconnected it the printer as long as my default, I tested the printer and it worked.  Don't know why remove and then add back in the set, but he did.

  • Don't print black ink (HP Officejet 6000 E609a Series)

HP Officejet 6000 E609a Series - do not black ink print ---
No warning light indicates low ink levels, so I called "solutions Center". The chart shows all cartridges, color and black to be virtually complete. I then replace the black cartridge with a new cartridge 920XL, thinking that the original could be defective. Same as before results! I (1) printed to a printer status report (2) print a print quality diagnostics page, (3) aligned the print heads and (4) cleaned the print heads, all to nothing does not. I even carefully cleaned the container for the black cartridge with a Q-Tip to collect a small amount of excess ink. Color cartridges are printing very well but the black cartridges will not print. (Either by the way, it seemed to happen suddenly, not gradually). I would be sincerely acknowledging all recommendations to solve this problem.
    Thank you... RP

@ wespikard - here is a link to a document that addresses print quality problems of the model of printer that is mentioned in the first post of this thread. It will give you instructions to solutions that will attempt to correct the output quality of your printer. I hope this helps.

  • HP Officejet 6000 only print left side of controls. prints everything well.

HP Officejet 6000 printer, system is Windows7. We use an insurance agency software and I am trying to print checks and the printer only prints the left side of the check and heel.  The software is ok because I can print checks very well of our generalization printer that uses the entire office.  I can print emails, documents, etc. of the Officejet and they print the entire page.  It's just the checks that print weird.  This has even puzzled IT society.  I tried the HP print and Scan Doctor thing, and he said that everything is fine.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!!

I'm back in business now! Print controls very well. We all remote on a server and I got the printer installed on my desktop, but not inside the server, and I don't even think it.

    Thanks for your help!

  • OfficeJet 6000 won't print from computer on our network

Our officejet 6000 won't print from a computer on the network. All 3 computers running Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium edition. The computer we have problems printing used to be able to print to the Officejet 6000, but now he can't.  In devices and printers, it says that the printer is connected, but I can't print a Test Page.  However, if I run the HP Solution Center, it says that the printer is connected and I can go to the Toolbox of the printer and print a printer status report.  The 2 other computers on our network have no problem printing of pages to document and test.  Why would a printer are struggling to print documents and test pages, but be able to print the printer status report?

It's just a problem of connection and communication. The computer and the printer can be on different ports or IP addresses. Here's a link below that can help solve this problem.

  • Officejet 6000 printing problems

My Officejet 6000 will not print. The power and light of the resume light blink - normally, this means that there is a paper jam in which there is not. Or that the rollers need cleaning I did. I also cleaned the cartridges where the ink comes out.

Also I tried to unplug the printer and try again without success. When the power is connected, the green light - after a few seconds it starts to blink and the printer goes into his routine of cleaning after this stop the Summary button illuminates and flashes also. I'd love to hear if someone has the same situation and managed to solve it!

Have you removed all paper from the input tray and look in the status bar with a flashlight to make sure nothing is caught in the rollers?

So, did you remove the module front/back/rear access door to make sure that nothing is stuck to the back of the rolls?

I also advise to open the upper part of the printer and remove all of the ink provides unit; including the print head.  Don't you see that anything taken under/the print head Assembly all about?

Hard reset of the printer with the supplies out of the unit:

Unplug the unit when turned on

Disconnect the other end of the power cord from the wall jack directly

    * Wait 30 seconds

    * Plug the unit back to

Once the device is fed up reinstall ink supplies in the printer.  Also check to see if the truck can slide left and right all the way inside the printer by hand.

There is also a document with additional steps found here.  I hope this helps.

My printer prints an alignment page after each print job.

I used my call free support to resolve this issue, and I thought it was fixed, but it isn't.  I checked the manual and there is no information there.  I have no idea what to do next.  Someone at - it any help?

The alignment page will print until it completes successfully.  Try print a page of diagnosis as on the Six Solution on this page. Do all color printers correctly?  The alignment will fail if the parties in black and color do not print correctly.
