Private server (sync only, based on minimal armor) works only with Firefox Home.

[Try to synchronize build minimum Server http://tobyelliott.wordpress.com/2009/09/11/weave-minimal-server/] does not work: FFHome request /weave/user/1.0/username/node/weave (404, because the server does not implement the recording features) and stop there, instead of trying to get the /weave/1.0/username/info/collections expected sync url.

I got it running over HTTP. I also slightly modified the weave_minimal hack to not hard code the URL of the server:

Version 6.0.1367 (updated daily), Mozilla Firefox 10.0. I also use Malware Anti-Malware and SUPER Anti Spyware, bytes that are also updated regularly. The only recent downloads in my system were version 10.0 of Firefox and Microsoft Updates. I even tried to roll back to version 9, no change or improvement.
