Probe FBUS node

Is it possible to continuously send sensor nodes to the field device and monitor the response of the probe to check if a package is missed?

I want to program the NOR-FBUS configurator to send PNs programmatically.

1 NOR-FBUS interface device always use master link and LAS.

2. battery (firmware) of the interface card OR-FBUS (PCI/PCMCIA-FBUS/USB-8486) is responsible for the shipment of the promissory notes. The stack is running on the device interface. It can not be controlled external. In fact, there is no need to send by programming interface card PNs. NOR-FBUS will send PNs automatically and permanently as long as Manager of Communications is running. You don't need to run the Configurator.

3 communications Manager or the Configurator cannot monitor the FF data at the level of the Protocol packets. Configurator is a tool to configure without feature followed by data packets. To do this, you must use the OR-FBUS Monitor software. Monitor is a capture tool data package to the level of the Protocol and analysis.

I'm having a problem understanding of logic in the attached vi.  It is a part of a larger system, and I put the normal entries to the values provided by the other vi to test this vi.  I do not understand is the value of the wire labeled "Output Increment" inside the logic of 'Run-Off' when the increment evaluates during the only browsing the vi (works in the same way in the application of the system).  At this point in the performance, the output of the increment is 56 when I was expecting a value of 1.  (The logic of "run on" above is similarly when ' RunOn/runoff' boolean is set to True.)  Also, why, when I probe wire node 'Run Off Counter Out', is the probe name "Run Off Counter In"?  I'm relatively new to LabView programming and would appreciate greatly any help.

    Thank you

Thanks for the help.  I figured it was something elemental, but I do not want to check the wiring, because the thread seems to go to the desired terminal.  All in all, a stupid mistake.

About the code: it seems awfully complicated.  What exactly are you trying to do? FYI: ANDing a Boolean with a real is redundant. It's like the multiplication of a number by 1.

Understand ablout the true.  The real replaced a parameter that is defined in a different vi and referenced here.  I replaced it so I could join only the a vi.   This vi is part of a much larger application that, under certain conditions, needs to use a time-out "run on" and in other conditions delay "Run Off".  The magnitude of the two delays is configurable by the user.

  • grayscale grid color changing

    Hello

I need to make this simulation probe network nodes of energy levels. As the energy of node decreases its corresponding place on the grid changes color. I would like to draw each node on a grid defined by the values X and Y of the node. I want also graphically color each node in grey - scale, so that the energy value lowers the dims of color. I have attached the representation of nodes on a grid of gray scale. How can I draw the grid and how can I periodically change its color that changes of the energy values.

Please, provide me the starting point and indices

You can replace the constant table 2D with your data file. I supposed that X, Y, Z (energy).

  • with WSN Vernier temperature probe?

Hello everyone. I have a hard time trying to get the sensor measures.

I created the thread here: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/steinhart-hart-with-vernier-thermistor/m-p/2811150

I think that now the formula is fine. So I realized, it could be that I chose the wrong node to work with probe thermistor based.

So now I took node voltage/resistance NI WSN-3226. I don't know how to wire properly. EX0, AI0, and GND.

Any help would be so awesome. Thank you

    Nicely,

    Poor

    Poor Hello,

That's right - you get a voltage scale out, not a resistance value.  The manufacturer has provided additional information on the use of their probes with different here:

Vernier: Can I use BTA Vernier sensors with another of A - to-D converter?

    http://www.Vernier.com/til/1952/?keyword=WRT-BTA

In addition, it seems that there are already example screws provided making this conversion voltage - to-resistance to-probe.  I have found these Vernier website with terms like "ELVIS", "BTA-vehicles" and "reduced the tension.

Vernier: Why is the temperature sensor read correctly with my NI ELVIS

    http://www.Vernier.com/til/2925/?keyword=BTA-ELV

NI.com: Interfacing screw for Vernier biosensors (download of example provided at the top right)

    http://www.NI.com/example/31019/en/

The VI "convert thermistor rdg" provided in the zip file seems to apply Ohm's law to determine the resistance of the thermistor of the acquired power, as you have noted.

As a note - all this information was already available on the Web site with a minimum of research NOR and Vernier.  It's probably a good thing to consolidate this information in a single thread/place so that future users have access to it (that's why I'm a link everything), but by doing some research on your own or contact the manufacturer directly could have you up and running last week!  In addition, you must be sure that you understand your sensor and conditioning circuit before using the computer, do not understand what is happening is a good way to end up with measurement errors.

In addition, you plan on leaving the WSN node attached to a Committee of ELVIS for the acquisition?

    Hi dear all,

I use the WSN starter kit, I am able to work well on it, but have some problems and you smart guys do look in those.

    1. once I installed 1.2 WSN software module poineer, I am unable to see Remote System tab in the tree of MAX, only my system tab is displayed. Even if I am able to see in my lvproject, to develop and use the application successfully.

    2. the J type thermocouple which came once I set TC0 + and TC - of the WSN - 212 node according to documentations, then in Labview VI, I see in the temperature value 273.56 ambiguous as - values and change them to-244.67 as once that I touch at its end. My node is set by default to the range of temp type J and Celcius, click right property tab.

  • XML file - child nodes table

Just starting to learn more about XML.

I have a simple XML I created which is

    Ambient

    panel1

    panel2

    panel3

Using the XML property - child results node table of nodes in a table of 9 elements:

    #text
    Probe
    #text
    Probe
    #text
    Probe
    #text
    Probe
    #text

My question is what are all the #text that are there?  Should the child nodes be not just the probes?

It seems to me you may be heading down a dark path.  Instead of using the "table of nodes child" and fighting through the unnecessary complications and text nodes, let me suggest you look at XPath and using "get all matched Nodes.vi ' or 'Get first match Node.vi' to get the items.  XPath allows parsing XML child's play.

    For example:

Of course, I hope that you use XP does not mean you use LV8.6 or earlier since the XPath screws are new to LV9.

If you use LV8.6 or earlier, I suggest looking in the .NET functions to implement XPath.  Once you get the hang of it, it still beats the attempt to parse XML the old-fashioned way.

As for the editor, I generate very few XML files by hand, for the most part I bring other programs and analyse them in LV again, XPath adjusts the rough edges.

  • Write PDM, duplicates the value after each race and works very well that if the probe tool is on

    Hi all!

I am facing a weird problem with my vi. The PDM write in my case/State records "Transformation", the data processed for each channel of each race. However, instead have a different set of data for each race, I get the same set of data for all lines. It is basically just duplication of first series of data in each row of each series. And the strange thing is that if I use the tool to probe on the son will tdms writing in the same case, it records the actual data in respective rows. with probe tool, it looks like good data in and record the correct data, without it, it duplicates only the first line. can someone please understand what going on with her?

I have attached the VI. While at it, feel free to provide your comments/suggestions on me vi design, so that I can work out which actually better.

I appreciate all the help in advance!

    Nilesh-

I thought about it. In case of treatment, I was reading from the same group eaverytime. all data processign was same. All I had to do was get the current value of the Group since the property node and the wire to tdms playback function.

  • Sum formula node

    Hey there

I am new to Labview and need help. I want to do an interpolation of surface and to do use "p 3D to adapt."

Subsequently, I want to calculate values and show them to see how it is about good. I use a node formula for this because I want to chose the order of polynomial approx.

    Here

    z: output

x, y: coordinates in the table

XI, yi: index of coordinates (where we are...)

    n: order of polynomial

    int i, j,
    z = c [0];
    This = 0;
    for (i = 1; i<=n;>
    {
    it = it + i;
    z = z + sum [j = 0-> i] (c [above + j] *(x[xi]**j) * (y [yj] **(i-j));)
    }

The problem is that he always tells me that there is an error with the amount, and since I can't understand it I hope, you might have some info.

Hope that we know what I tried to describe

    Hey

I have a little work around by using a second loop instead of the sum. But if someone has the same prob. Here's how I solved it:

  • invoke the node (screw in a parallel work library)

    Hi all

I'm evaluating a temperature probe. For this I must watch the thermocouple readings. Thermocouple is attached to the FP-TC-120 of temperature module. Moreover, I have to acquire data from the optical spectrum analyzer. I use 3650.VI to monitor the temperature and 86140 B Capture of Trace_Screen .llb (2) o trace data of OSA.
I try to use Invoke node VI for Spectrum Analyzer trace data. For this, I specified the path to the necessary file as an input for the code. The problem is that the necessary VI (write Trace to File.VI) is within a Bachelor of law. folder and need codes to operate completely.
It is when I run the code (and when the condition of stability is met) the computer asks me to save data of Spectrum Analyzer in a file called trace.csv. When I press ok, it simply registers an empty file with a header (Power (dbm) wavelength (nm)). Apparently it works in parallel with the other VI. How can I make use of the VIs within a .llb file with call node VI or should I use another VI to combine temperature monitor VI VI of tracing data.

The second problem is with the temperature stability criterion. In the attached VI, I check if the thermocouple reading is within the range of stability of 0.8 degree 900 seconds. I want to change that. I have
you want to check the stability of the temperature by comparing the final data with the previous ones. Y at - there no specific VI which should be used to check fluctuations of waveforms?

    Thank you very much

    Deniz says:

Now, I struggle with timing. The problem is that if I put a timer inside a case structure, it disables the time VI

This is not what is actually happening. What is happening is that the loop must wait until the delay function is completed before you can continue to the next iteration. There are several ways to solve this problem. Here are 2:

    • Instead of having a time delay within the structure of the case, use a shift register to keep track of the last time a trace has been captured. If the time is greater than or equal to 1 minute and you are supposed to be captured, and then do the capture and reset the timer. Thus, the structure of the case would be headed by 2 conditions rather than 1. It is a relatively simple change.
    • Place trace capture in a separate and independent loop. The case structure would be as is inside this independent loop. You must use a property node or a local as a flag variable, so that the trace capture can be triggered. For example, you must create an indicator of the output of the or less? function so that you can read the value in the other loop.

    I recommend method 1.

PS, I just noticed that the "Trace Xfer" VI has already incorporated in writing in a spreadsheet file .  As it is, you will get a dialog box asking you for a file name. You can either:

    • Delete the entry in the worksheet in the "Trace Xfer" VI file as you do in your top-level code.
    • Delete the entry in the worksheet of your first level VI file and add a path control to the "Trace Xfer" VI and past in the path to the file you want to write.
  • Some nodes of property subVIs and graphics seem not to complete all actions unless I look at them.

I have a few subVIs in use which take the server references to graphics and images and add sliders, establish the limits and the pixel values min/max value.  Sometimes a couple of sliders don't prepare you, or one of the limits will be bad, etc.  If I open the Subvi and place probes or preserve values to see what numbers are passed, everything is running and all of the sliders are defined.  I also had this problem outside a Subvi with a property node affecting 16-bit values min and max of pixels. I checked, and the same / correct are passed to all the nodes property, as are the correct references.  The Subvi always run correctly by operating later in the calling VI, only during initialization do they sometimes fail.

    Thank you

    Brendan

So I tried to unifying the property node, but that has no effect.  It turns out be related to writing data in the chart before you set the sliders and the mini/maxi.  Even if the chart has not been set on autoscale, it seems that it is be re-scheduled somewhat when the data has been written.

    Thank you!

  • probe shows not executed on some son!

Please help - it seems to be a bug in labview.

I have a no concave vi with enable debugging.

I have a problem to debug several threads - when I put the probe on them - the window of the probe shows "not executed" even though I'm sure

they run because they update of the indicators.

I don't know if it's related - but this happens only in my loops of communication rs232 instrument data.

all the other loops in the VI (which is a very large VI with many other loops running simultanesly) can be debuged without problem.

don't tell me to put the code because I can't.

    Thanks for your time

    Guy

    Ok

After several hours of investigation, I managed to isolate the problem.

I think this is a bug in labview 2012.

I don't know why, but it seems that a node feeback (with external initializer the feedback loop and not z transform node) within my time loop caused the problem.

    After removal-problem gone.

It's weird because I have other loops which has the exact comments without problem nodes.

I hope this will help others

    James,

It is possible, but you have enabled dhcp probe and have you thought about establishing a statement of support ip or assign the node ISE as one of on the WLC dhcp servers?

It is built in failure that contains the dhcp class identifier MSFT will profile endpoint as a windows workstation.

However if this is not the case you can create the following condition under the policy elements > Conditions > profiling > new Profiler, you use the create (Advanced...) then select NMAP > 135 - tcp > then set the EQUAL operator to msrpc.

Pass under the Microsoft-desktop, and then select the option create a corresponding identity Group (it's much easier rather than using the option in the hierarchy) and define the certainty factor 30. Then add this new condition, then assign certainty 30 also.

    Hope that helps,

    Thank you

  • Node of automation is much more difficult to 'uncheck' than to 'create '.

I use logical X about 5 months now, and I felt a fairly frustrating relationship with interaction of automation.  When I load automation, 'creation' of a knot of automation is simple... 1. click anywhere along the yellow line creates a node that is precisely where I clicked.  However, "popping/unclicking/destroy" this same node takes anywhere from 3 to 6 clicks to work.  I would love to be able to uncheck these nodes with the same exact ease with which I am able to create.  No relief in this case would be great!  Thank you

Double click on the node to remove it... as simple as when it was created...   Click to create, double-click Delete.
