Problem: Apps updates not :(

I have 7 apps that show the available updates, but when I try to update spins thingy activity for some time as it tries to connect then it stops without any error message and the apps are not updated. Ive tried to restart and logout and back in the AppStore, nothing helps.

Try to restart in Mode safe mode and see if you can update.

Start in safe mode

  • Start or restart your Mac.
  • As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
  • Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.
  • After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.
  • To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

  • Apps updates not (iPad 2 Air)

Recently (past week or almost), I noticed a problem with the update of the applications on my iPad. The same day Apps on my iPhone without a problem.

If I go to the App Store on the iPad, I can see pending updates, but when I click on update on any of them, it just shows the circle of progress for a few seconds and goes back to the update button. This happens for all applications in the list and is not limited to a single application. I also tried this on cell phones and multiple wi - fi connections, then I am satisfied it is not associated with connectivity.

Here's what I've tried so far:

-Closing and reopening of the App Store (not just by pressing the home button)

    -Restart the iPad

-Force turn back on the iPad

-Changing the settings of the App Store around automatic downloads

-Updated to the latest version of iOS (9.3.1)

The only other thing I read is to restore the iPad to factory settings, but I only want that as absolute final solution. Any other suggestions, please?

Have you tried reseting Network Settings? (Settings > general > reset > network settings) You won't lose data if you just reset the network settings.  You will need to log in to your wifi.

    See you soon,.

  • Messages.app and Facetime.app do not open after OSx updated 10.11.5 Mountain Lion

Last night, I've updated my Macbook Pro in early 2011 at the El Capitan 10.11.5 Cougar (Yes, the leap). Open all apps to check out them, and Facetime.app and Messages.app are not open.

FaceTime.app gives the message "an internal FaceTime error has occurred. There was a problem with Facetime. You must exit and reopen Facetime. "A few times. No change.

Messages.app: Last night after update, I opened it and gives the message "Messages is updated... The database of Messages is in the process of modernization, please wait until it is finished or Messages Quit and restart it later. "Allowed to do that during the night (about 7 hours). App reopened this morning and nothing went up, no new window, no error message, no light 'walk' on the dock; but, if you click on it showed the "Application does not message." After a few re-openings, it's the message even 'Messages is updated"as above.

I have not tried anything other than a restart.

Any ideas on what to try? Thank you in advance!

  • Apps will not install or update on wifi

    Hello world

I'm having a problem at the time where apps just not update or install when it is connected to a WiFi network but are on mobile data.

I open the App Store and go to update a applications based on notifications, but all I get is the spinner. Even with the installation of new applications. I get the circle with the stop button, but no progress.

However, if I switch to mobile data downloads and then begin immediately. It's like the WiFi connection cannot connect to Apple servers. Along the same vein, I can't check the iOS updates. I just get the error message

Failed to verify the update. An error occurred when checking for a software update.

What happened through several WiFi networks, in different places, and I asked a number of people who all have the same problem.

I tried to reset network settings, change the DNS and using static IP addresses, but in vain.

    I'm on an iPhone UK 6 s, iOS 9.2.1.

    Device purchased directly by Apple.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Other than downloading applications - WiFi works for stuff like email, surfing and streaming?

  • Why is the app store not update/download apps

It has been more than a week.  I have 35 applications that need to be updates and new applications I want to achieve... downloaded and the app store is dead... just dead and useless.  I did research on the issue and none of the solutions I've scratched the work.  How Apple let this just drag?

In addition, I feel like that has happened, my battery seems to be draining much faster than usual.  I can't help but speculate that something is happening in the background of this phone and it's associated software.

If my version 9.2 is not the most recent, then my phone is not letting me check for later version software (an error pops up when checking for software updates in the settings... this small wheel just guard spinning that appears an error message).

If this continues, I'll have to bring my phone and I am seriously considering to return to Android.  I'm frustrated to say the least... and is preparing to launch this gigantic brick of a phone off the Bay Bridge.  Help!

  • After the update of the app, can not read the store persistent on some devices

    Hello

I have a problem in an application I was able to reproduce in a simple test application.

The test application writes some info in the persistent store, then can read back and it seems to work fine.

If I change the version number of the application, then download the new version (by downloading a jad file in the browser), he invites me to replace the old version w / the new version, which I confirmed. After you download the new version of the app, he invites me to reboot the device, what I'm doing.

On most of the devices I tested this, after the reboot, when I run the app update, it works as expected - it can read the value written in the store persistent by the earlier version of the application.

However, on some devices, it is unable to do.

Debugging a bit, the error occurs when you try to get the object persistent via:

    PersistentObject po1 = PersistentStore.getPersistentObject(MY_KEY);

This survey line an exception - exception message is simply 'null '. I don't know what is precisely the type of exception since it is a static method should not throw any exception that as far as I know, so I'm just catching a generic java.lang.Exception.

The same - in the version update of the application, if the software tries to write to the store persistent by using the ID of the object, the result is the same - the call to getPersistentObject throws an exception "null".

Note that I'm not changing anything this either on the object that is saved in the persistent store, and I'm not changing the identifier of object between the versions of the application.

A device on which I can reproduce this issue systematically is a Blackberry 9800 (Torch) running 6.0 Bundle 2647.

Any advice or suggestions how to debug this appreciated.

I tried to reproduce this on a Blackberry 9800 (Torch) running 6.0 Bundle 2647, identical to what noted you above but find the code example you posted worked well.  Were there other changes between the versions other than increment the version number?

Is - what happens on multiple devices or just one?  If it is just a device you can try to reload the software of the device in case anything is damaged.

  • Windows store keeps trying to update apps Bing NOT on my PC

It started to happen days without apparent reason. When an app update is available for applications

with no ties to Microsoft, while they were manually inspecting ALL the apps updates Bing will appear as needing to be

updated. It is that many of these applications are simply not installed on my PC... like finance, Sports, News

and yet they will appear in the list of pre-selected update ready to be installed

Has anyone else seen elsewhere? or able to fix... I ran the Troubleshooter (things seem fine) Apps, I also

installed the applications listed and which allows to Powershell and the command Remove-AppxPackage on each app, Bing, Bing

I'm now just a few independent app update see if Bing apps appear again

It seems that MS may have solved the problem at their end.

I have not tried tips recently to repair myself, and they have since disappeared from the list of update of the store.

    Hooray!

    Hi Richard,

You start the computer in Normal mode after completing the clean boot?

If you started the computer to Normal Mode after you Clean boot, and then the App updates are not displayed, then it means that the updates were installed successfully.

If the application updates are available, they reflect in store Windows.
