Apps will not install or update on wifi

Hello world

I'm having a problem at the time where apps just not update or install when it is connected to a WiFi network but are on mobile data.

I open the App Store and go to update a applications based on notifications, but all I get is the spinner. Even with the installation of new applications. I get the circle with the stop button, but no progress.

However, if I switch to mobile data downloads and then begin immediately. It's like the WiFi connection cannot connect to Apple servers. Along the same vein, I can't check the iOS updates. I just get the error message

Failed to verify the update. An error occurred when checking for a software update.

What happened through several WiFi networks, in different places, and I asked a number of people who all have the same problem.

I tried to reset network settings, change the DNS and using static IP addresses, but in vain.

I'm on an iPhone UK 6 s, iOS 9.2.1.

Device purchased directly by Apple.

Any help would be appreciated.

Other than downloading applications - WiFi works for stuff like email, surfing and streaming?

I tried to install individually in MS catalogue still will not be installed. This is a new computer that I built in July and punishment, it has not been used. It's strange because for the first three weeks of this computer, I had no problem with the installation of all available updates, or anything else. Then when the updates of August were available I chose all security updates and install optional updates that have already downloaded click on the button and nothing happened, it remained only on 0%. My question is, is there an update that was given earlier that caused these updates not installed? While in the clean boot state, you can also try to download and Save the Fixit found here -How to reset the Windows Update components?
Once the download completes close all open programs and browsers.
Now launch Microsoft Fixit 50202.msi and choose the default mode.

If no joy, run the Fixit once more and choose aggressive mode.

my computer will not install the update of security for Windows XP (KB2481109) can you help me.

    Hello

    (a) don't you try to install the update manually?

    (b) you get any error message?

    (c) don't you make changes to the computer until the problem occurred?

    (d) what anti-virus software is installed on your computer?

I suggest you try the steps below and check if it helps

    Method 1:

If you have installed a security software on the computer, then I suggest you to temporarily disable a software antivirus installed on the computer and check if the same problem occurs

Note: Please make sure that you activate the software of Antivirus\Firewall after the test to keep your computer protected.

    Method 2:

I would say as you try to perform the clean boot and then try to install the update and check if it helps, here is the link:

Make sure that return you the computer to a normal startup mode once it's done.

  • Unable to upgrade to Windows 8.1, Windows store does not and will not install Windows Update.

Original title: hard to upgrade to 8.1 - My App store Windows will not open, Windows updates Pc settings does not.

Everything on my laptop is saying that it is "not responding" - opening of the photos, for example. My apps are no longer compatible - for example my e-mail address is not updated. I think it's all related to not updated to 8.1 - having a knock on effect to all the other bits on the laptop.

The problem is won't let me upgrade. I understand that it is a slow process, but it won't let me even go up to the store to upgrade. What can I do?

Really sad about that I just bought my laptop 3 months ago a result already loads of problems with it. (ACER LAPTOP WINDOWS 8)

I had the same problem and finally came up with this fix. I hope it works for everyone who suffered from this annoying problem. Go to control panel, system, and security, the Action Center. In the center of the Action, open the settings Windows Smartscreen. Do not do anything (turn off Smartscreen Windows) check.

  • My creative cloud app will not open. Updated last week

My creative cloud app will not open. It updated last week. It says program close app does not. I went to different menus to help and try to delete these files specified such as AAMUpdater, OOBE and OOBE1 and then start the creative menu cloud app. Have always the same message that "program does not - close the program." I don't know what to do now. Fortunately, Photoshop still works and I don't want to update now while there are updates available. I don't know what to do.

Finally, I put on my backup from 11/02/16 who had an older version of the CCA on it. After the backup, he updated and now it opens. Why none of the fixes worked? I lost last night and today all on it. It would not have been so boring if at least one of the fixes had worked.

  • Updates will not install, Apps will not install Windows 8 error Code: 0x8020002e

We have 3 Machines, we're the United States (S7 computer laptop from Acer) and 2 other desktop

None of them are able to install windows updates, or install apps on the Store.
    I did a clean install.
Created only a user MS (Hotmail) account
Stop the Windows update service, deleted the files from windows update, reactivated the service and tried again. (still no 0x8020002e)
Disabled the WSUS service on the server. And I tried to install each update manually.
Changed in the locale and updating the time.
Uninstalled all anti-virus and activated the default firewall.
Ran sfc/scannow (even after complete reinstallation of Windows 8)
Everything ran as administrator, but the updates and app downloads all fail.
Also, met with MS support guys that they connected remotely with Support.me, and haven't found anything.

This is not a solution for everyone in general - but we found that the problem was related to the Cyberoam firewall unit was actually blocking traffic to the store - once he was removed from the internet packets audit exceeded the updates.

  • Apps will not install

This problem has just appeared from nowhere recently: I can no longer install apps. No matter what the app is, or if im even market facility, that simply will not be installed. It goes the same for updates.

I tried compensation market data/cache/reboot and even go up to uninstall some other applications (despite having plenty of space (3 GB of the total left free)). installation of the market gives a generic 'installation failed' and installation via the installation package gives a possibly misleading generic "you might be low on space, go to manage applications.

Maybe if all the space that you left is/3 GB is a faucet built into the Tablet setting does not use all the storage space? Just a guess, but that of course what it sounds like.

  • Windows Vista will not install new updates after installing SP2

Hi, I have a problem with the update of my windows. It started after a fact a factory reset. Here's the history:

I have a some what old laptop (8 years). It came with a Vista installed with service pack 1 installed at the factory. Over the years, I did a few factory resets (every 2-3 years). I never had problems up to now. What is happening now is that I can not exceed SP2. I tried two different ways, none of them worked. After the reset, I first uninstall a bunch of stupid programs that came with the laptop, and then defragment and then have two ways to proceed. I tried to use windows update, installed more than 100 updates, updates install held until finally I offered service Pack2, installed successfully but then no more updates were offered. Then I tried a different approach - a new reset, uninstall, Defrag, and then downloaded and installed SP2 directly from the Download Center. And again the same thing happens. From the SP2 installation I check updates, download the new update agent and nothing happens after that. He keeps looking for new updates all day (about 50% of the processor by using all the time).

I read some articles and discussions but could not find anyone with the same problem (most of the users reported some error codes which is something I can't do). I tried the fix tool - it does nothing! Whenever I run it, it is mistakes - sometimes 2, sometimes up to 5. Sometimes, it makes account all fixed, other times that it reports missing or corrupt files do not set. Whatever the results if I restart and when I try to check for updates again it is still the same story.

Also I tried to install it manually IE9 as soon as SP2 is installed (I understand that this is not supported under SP1) but the installation fails. I expected to be available in updates, but as I don't get updates I tried to install it myself. Not sure if it's related (although I guess it is), but the Defender is not able to verify new definitions either.

Any suggestions? Maybe the registry is damaged or some of the files using the update agent is are corrupt? There are currently no antivirus program installed that could block whatever it is. I haven't touched Windows Firewall somehow everything must therefore be attributed to the default values.

You understand is that? I came across exactly the same problem... restoration of an old book to give to a family member, and every time I came to the point of installing SP2 and a more recent windows update agent just after, I couldn't install more updates. It would block 'check updates' forever. Tried twice, same problem. However, I tried some things differently the third time and exceeded the question.

Let me know if you still need help, and I will respond with what I've done.

  • laptop will not install some updates

My son has a toshiba laptop 64 bit, when it tries to install updates seven of thirteen updates were installed correctly, but although he left the laptop on it during the night it would be not to install more updates.

    Hi conchy joe,.

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2. what happens when you try to install the remaining updates? You receive an error message?

    3. do you have security software installed on the computer?

    Method 1

View update history to know which update is not installing.

    (a) open Windows Update by clicking Start , all programsand then click Windows Update.

    (b) in the left pane, click view update history.

    (c) to view more information about an update, double-click it.

Once you know the KB number thenvisit download of Microsoft Update and put the number in the search box, download and install the update manually.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx

    Method 2

If the previous step fails then I would suggest that reset you the default Windows Update components and later try to install updates.

How to reset the Windows Update components?

    Hello

Do you have an error message when you try to install updates?

I suggest that you put your machine in a clean boot State, then try to install the updates. I suspect the involvement of a third party software conflict.

Note: Do not forget to put your computer in normal mode.

  • Vista Home Premium 64-bit: Side-by-side configuration incorrect, C++ Redistributable is not installed, programs will not install, Windows Update will not work.

Greetings!  Please read this and thank you in advance for your help.

A few months ago, I started to receive Windows Update errors, indicating that my Windows platform could not update itself.  Soon after, I started getting errors about C++ Redistributable does not install correctly.  It wasn't a huge problem for a while, and I managed to work around it.  However, my antivirus program is dead, and I'm unable to install a new.  When I try to install programs now, I get the error "side-by-side configuration is incorrect."  I would like to delete the manifest and try to reinstall the application, but I don't know where they are.  At least, it would be a start.  In any case, I am currently without virus protection.  Help!

So far, I tried to uninstall the Windows updates, but I only managed to install the MS Office updates.  I have even office, although I understand that it is built into the operating system of our days.  I tried many different patches of a lot of different forums and nothing seems to work.  I would like to reinstall the OS, but I bought OEM (from Newegg) and do not have the disc.  I don't even have an easy backup, or even one that I know is 'good'.

Thanks again for your time and effort.  They are appreciated more than you can imagine.

    -Sean

Why you didn't say what you did before?

Borrow a Vista DVD and don't reinstall Option I gave you.

Or borrow a disc and do a repair installation; It's your call.
