Problem at startup of field step installation Peopletool 8.50

Hello
I install Peopletool 8.50 on my pc.
Before the creation of the field everything went well.
Instance name: PSP1
I chose that domain name.

Next, I created the domain with the following options:

Can someone please help me with this problem?

Thank you!

You try to start the field with the database owner who is an Oracle account. You must provide a PeopleSoft (items 18 and 19) account, which has sufficient permissions to start the application (PS for example) server.

  • Problems with the NVARCHAR2 fields

I use ROracle to query a database with a field of type NVARCHAR2. When I access the database directly or through RJDBC, I have no problem with that. However, if I do something like

    res = dbSendQuery(conn, qry)
    dbColumnInfo(res)

He told me that the 'type' is VARCHAR2. So when I use fetch (res), it's not back up the data correctly (it gives? instead). Is there anyway so that it can detect the NVARCHAR fields, properly or even manually it say when a field must be NVARCHAR?

Edit: Try explicitly casting in my query (e.g. qry = "select cast (textfield you mvarchar2 (100)) from myTable ') and which did not help.

Edit2: It turns out that this problem persists even with fields containing unicode VARCHAR2.

Windows update and SP1 gave me the same problem and I used this hole day to RESOLVE.

Windows 7 is not bootable. Safe mode Windows 7 was not bootable, - stop at classpnp.sys.  I used the line of command of the rescue disk and Linux (!) to fix it.  And then little important reading / advice on this forum.

If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.
After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

  • BIG problem - the startup information is missing

Hi, I tried to install windows vista on my computer and I don't have time. Currently, my C drive is fully formatted, I have no OS and cannot start all discs, I get bootmgr is missing error.

By pressing F2, F11 or F8 does not work because I still got the message "bootmgr is missing".

Is it possible to get at least the computer so I can try to fix it?

    ·       Do a startup repair, boot from the disk Installation of Windows Vista genuine (or one that you can borrow from someone) or a recovery disc.  Here is the procedure: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html.  You may need to change the BIOS to do first the CD drive in the boot sequence to boot from the CD.  To do this, hold the screen that tells you the key F to push to enter the menu start or start of installation.  Push it quickly. Make the changes, save your work and exit.  Put the CD in the drive and reboot.  When you are prompted, press any key to boot from the CD.

If you do not have a floppy disk, you can make a bootable recovery disk by using http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ with burning software like:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and, of course, a blank CD.

If this does not resolve the problem, try the following:

To run the Bootrec.exe tool, you must start Windows RE. To do this, follow these steps: (you need an Installation of Vista disc to do that)

    1. put the Windows Vista installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.

    2. press a key when you are prompted.

    3. Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then clickNext.

    4. click onrepair your computer.

    5. click on the operating system that you want to repair, and then clickNext.

    6. in theSystem Recovery Options dialog box, click command prompt.

    7 TypeBootrec.exe and press ENTER.

Note If rebuilding the BCD does not resolve the startup problem, you can export and delete the BCD, and then run this option again. In doing so, you ensure that the BCD is completely rebuilt. To do this, type the following commands at the command prompt Windows RE:

    ·       bcdedit/export C:\BCD_Backup

    ·       c:

    ·       Boot CD

    ·       BCD attrib s h - r

    ·       Ren c:\boot\bcd BCD.old

    Bootrec /RebuildBcd

If you do not have the disk, try EasyBCDhttp://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1 and see if that helps the problem.

Good luck and I hope this helps!

  • Problem at startup with Vista - hang at crcdisk.sys - green bar still there

    Hello

I have a big problem and I'm not able to find a problem.

My laptop (Lifebook, Fujitsu A6200) always hang at startup when the green bar with the windows logo is moving (I restarted after 3 hours).

When I starts in Mode safe, it hangs on CRCDISK. SYS. I left it run for 2 hours and it restarted somewhere in this period.

I tried the Drivers and applications of restore disc that came with my laptop and it never found problems. I ran the startup of more than 8 hours repair and the balance sheet was not finished.

I plugged my hard drive on another PC so I can access my data correctly, it is not a hard drive problem.

I have not installed any application or any new hardware in the weeks before the problem appeared with the exception of the automatic updates of Windows. I don't think that the problem is a hardware problem.

If possible, I don't want to reinstall windows.

    Thanks for your help!

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

Step 2: Use system recovery tools to fix the problem, to access system recovery tools. To do this, follow the steps mentioned in the link below:

How to access the System Recovery Options menu?

    See also the link below

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/make-system-repairs-from-the-Windows-recovery-environment-from-Windows-Vista-inside-out

    (a) System Restore: put the computer to an earlier point in time when the computer was working fine.

    (b) order to access Windows Recovery: run the disk check to repair bad sectors on the hard disk.

At the command prompt, type chkdsk /f and then press ENTER.

Now, type chkdsk /r , and then press ENTER.

Note: CHKDSK would attempt to recover bad sectors on the hard disk, in the course of this process there are chances of DATA loss from that particular area.

    (c) run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool

  • Drive not recognized at startup after successful start installation

I've recently updated almost all my hardware and re-installed Windows 7 Ultimate.  After the re-installation of day software and tweak the OS to where I need it, I woke the next morning to see the machine has restarted and Windows installation disc was ready to reinstall Windows (i.e. during the restart it does not recognize the HDD to boot).

The BIOS is configured to boot from the good drive, but Windows sees any disk.  When I tried to use the 'repair' utility, it tells me it is do a repair, but after I re-boot, it is the same story.  When I look at the details of the repair, it tells me that there is something wrong with the partition table.  It's a new disc that never had anything else on the subject until I installed Windows.

What is frustrating, it is when I click on the button "Load Drivers" and I am browsing for files, I can see the drive boot and all the files on it, and all my other disks.  Yet, the Windows repair utility is not see the Windows installation or startup disk.

    I have the following configuration:

    ASUS P6T MB
    18 GB OF RAM DDR3
    Intel Quad Core 3.2 GHz
    nVidia 470 GTX video
2 x disks Seagate 1 TB (which is the startup disk)
    1 x WD 1 TB drive
    3 x 320 GB drives

So, I tested all my discs with SeaTools and none apparent problems.  I didn't run the 'Long Test', as my thought was the test runs would be back on something as simple as a problem of table partition or another issue related to the start-up.

Disabling all other readers, was not good either.

Rather than spend the evening enitre tests and try out the options, I opted for another new facility.  Things went smoothly and this morning that I didn't have the same problem (that is, the computer was not restarted for the installation DVD).

I did two things differently this time.  I installed all my MB / drivers chipset as soon as Windows has been installed, rather than do it later.  Second, I turned off all power management.
