Problem converting as for Java

It's very weird, I worked with Flex + Java for quite a while and this is the first time this has happened. I have an object AS that I send to a Java assembler for insert, update, or delete. When inserting it works fine, but when I try to update or delete it, it throws a ClassCastException because the class of the object is flex.messaging.io.ManagedObjectProxy why is this?

I tried another application where I am, doing the same thing but using another AS a class and it works very well, if I check the class of the object in Java assembler it is good, it is not a ManagedProxy.

So why is it? I do the same thing with 2 different classes, one Flex sends ManagedProxies to Java and the other not.

Like I said I've done a thousand times and it's the first time I get this problem, the flex code is the same, the only thing that changes is the AS class I use.

Too BAD, found the mistake is on Java

    Convert c# to Java code - Floating Point Arithmetic

    Hello
    I need to write a c# equivalent in java code. The c# code includes functions perform mathematical calculations. The result of these functions must match exactly with the c# (especially precision) counterpart. Here's a function that requires an equivalent java

    Public Shared Function squareroot (string n1)
    {
    If ((n1 == null) |) (System.Convert.ToDouble (N1) < 0))
    {return null ;}
    else {}
    return (Math.Sqrt (System.Convert.ToDouble (n1))) System.Convert.ToDecimal. ToString();
    }
    }

    C# two data types - float (32-bit) and double (64-bit) floating-point. It also includes a more specific data type float called decimal (128-bit). The float and double are supposed to follow the standard IEEE 754 floating point standard, but precise figures are different. Double c# has 15-16 digits for precision while the equivalent of java has 53, right? (the IEEE standard reference).

    Does anyone have an idea on what java equivalent data types/libraries must be used such that the results correspond with double c# and decimal?

    Thank you & happy new year

    This has nothing to do with the IEEE 754 standard, because nothing in IEEE 754 specifies how many decimal places should be used when a value is converted to a string. Simply because the resolution is between 15 and 16 decimal places does not mean that there is always an exact representation of any number of IEEE 754 format to 16 decimal places. In your example, Java chooses to create two decimal places more than c# don't but I bet that this is not a general rule you can count!

    The whole concept of using strings to represent the number seems to be skewed. I don't really see the point. It is mind bogglingly slow and in my view it does nothing for you. You have not yet met the real problem yet! What happens when Java or c# decides to use scientific notation?

    In your situation I would like to change the program c# use 'double' rather than 'chain', then you would find that you get an almost perfect match to all time. I make this recommendation of much written spending year of algorithms in C, C++, c# and Java of signal processing.

    Hello

    As you did a reinstall, make sure that Service Packs are installed.

    If they are, download and save Adobe, etc. > then right-click on the setup.exe > run as administrator to install.

    Click Start > right click on computer > left click on properties > see if you have Vista 32 bit or Vista 64-bit installed.

    It will also tell you which SP you have installed.

    Then, choose the download of 'bit' OK to use to install Service Packs, installation of SP1 first if it is not already installed.

  • Moving Eclipse 3.4-> 3.5, two strange issues - lack of generator for java, Midlet-name is missing

    I moved to Eclipse 3.5, installed the plugin version 1.1 BB and copied a Blackberry project from the workspce Eclipse 3.4 to 3.5 workspace.

    I've added a new project of Blackberry and pointed to the existing project. He seemed to find everything, from the jdp or .project file and installed. But he has been unable to build. In the process of building I noticed several manufacturers reported as "missing". I created a TEST project and said that she had a 'Builder of Java' the real project does not have. I add the following xml to the builders section of the .project file code:

    org. Eclipse.JDT.Core.javabuilder

    He then built.

    The packaging problem. Now I'm stuck on this packaging error:

    Error! 907: descriptor required attribute missing: MIDlet-name

    In the Application descriptor page, I chose 'Blackberry Application' so "main Midlet name" is not editable...

    Any ideas on why I can't move my project smoothly.

    Why the Application descriptor page would not create an appropriate description of MIDlet?

    Solutions!

    Problem 1, the missing Java constructor can either be handled by adding the text above in the file .projects, or having somehow incremental builders reference the ".externalToolBuilders" folder that I found them in.

    Problem 2 is unique. To avoid applications with systems operating older running in compatibility mode (the small screen of blue border) on the storms, a file "compatibity.jad" was the project, containing the lines:

    RIM-TouchCompatibilityMode: false
    RIM-TouchCompatibilityMode-UserChangeable: false

    The jad file is added to the real Jad through Update.Jad. However, during the project/file/new blackberry existing project using Eclipse 3.5 upgrade, program CAP locked on the compatibility.jad file and he was looking for the MIDlet-name. I renamed the file compatibility.kad and it solved problem.

    I think Rim should resolve the first issue, the question of Java Builder. The second question is kind of unique, but it can drive someone to another crazy one day...

    -If you upgrade and if you do not import heritage projects (which points to the.) BlackBerry folder BlackBerry.jdw) Note that the old NET_RIM_BLACKBERRY library is now named "JRE System Library [Blackberry JRE 4.7.0]" for example. So after the upgrade, you will need to remove the NET_RIM_BLACKBERRY and the "Add Library" the correct system library.

    This line shows the problem:

    je.info.N files contain monitoring logging. I use java.util.logging for this. The N at the end of the file name is assigned by java.util.logging and it runs from 0 to 9. What can happen is that you ran the names of the log files, or maybe the file is not closed properly (sounds like you're on Windows). Try to move all the files in je.info. * the environment directory and then open again the environment.

  • M3u8 sample Live Streaming HTTP plays don't not - stand-alone JavaFX 2.2.7 for java 1.6.0.32

    Hi all
    I searched high and low on the here and the wild wild web, but cannot find any support for my problem.

    I was testing my code of JavaFX2.2.7 Media Player based in a common Java 6 application when I discovered that HTTP Live Streaming does not seem to work. I can play a local file of the format supported (Sintel trailor mp4 h264), but when I try and use a stream of Live HTTP instead, nothing plays. (for example http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/products/javafx/JavaRap/prog_index.m3u8 ). I find myself with an empty drive and no exceptions or errors.

    private final static String MEDIA_URL = " " http://download.Oracle.com/otndocs/products/JavaFX/JavaRap/prog_index.m3u8 "; "

    Media = new Media (MEDIA_URL);

    MediaException ex = media.getError ();

    If (ex! = null) {}

    System.out.println ("Media error" + ex.getMessage ());

    } else {}

    System.out.println ("no media error");

    }

    Program the output to the console: "No. Media Error.

    I thought it was something wrong with my Player code, as a last resort, I went to JavaFX 2 - together and copied from the source and put it directly in my application and it ran... Unfortunately occurs the same result. The player runs, but simply shows a video window empty. Controls are available, but the video plays.

    Based on the release notes for Java 2.2.7 that I was under the impression that HLS has been supported. Am I incorrect?

    I can't upgrade to Java 7 because I'm firmly stuck with Java 1.6.0.32 for lack of project.

    Can anyone provide any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Post edited by: 2b18d6de-8200-4adc-a82a-88fc0451f448 I've updated for JavaFX 2.2.21 and this has not fixed the problem. The result is exactly the same. No exceptions, no error and no video...

    My Conclusion: Http Live Streaming does not seem to work with JavaFX 2.2.7 or 2.2.21.

    I've proved since the problem lies with 2.2.7 JavaFX and JavaFX 2.2.21, and that by using the new JavaFX comes with Jre7 solves the problem.

    I created a completely new and added that the JavaFX jars comes with 7 project JRE on my road to build. I copied the code from http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/products/javafx/2/samples/Ensemble/index.html#SAMPLES/Media/Streaming%20Media%20Player and it works.

    So, I made a few changes on my original Java Eclipse project.

    Removed the build path:

    -C:\Program Files (x 86) \Oracle\JavaFX 2.2 Runtime\lib\jfxrt.jar

    -C:\Program Files (x 86) \Oracle\JavaFX 2.2 Runtime\lib\javaws.jar

    -C:\Program Files (x 86) \Oracle\JavaFX 2.2 Runtime\lib\plugin.jar

    -C:\Program Files (x 86) \Oracle\JavaFX 2.2 Runtime\lib\deploy.jar

    Added to build the path:

    -C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\lib\jfxrt.jar

    -C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\lib\javaws.jar

    -C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\lib\plugin.jar

    -C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\lib\deploy.jar

    Always using the 1.6.0_32 Java runtime, I ran my application and everything worked.

    Of course, this will be like a giant hack. I am disappointed by the release notes for JavaFX 2.2.7.

    NOTE: To export my request as an executable Jar, I also had to pull the related JavaFX ".dll" JRE 7 libraries and add them to the java.library.path (using script commands) before running the jar.

  • Will Firefox continue for Java

    I saw where Google Chrome will take end support for Java in their fall 2015 as well as Microsoft will do the same thing with 'Spartan project'.

    Firefox has the intention to continue to support Java in the future?

    What I am making reference to "supporting Java" is in the educational world, we use software that requires direct support for Java for the software to use. In particular, I am referring to Ellucian BANNER and Evision ARGOS.

    Without Java support, we cannot use these two very critical systems unless we continue to hold on the operating systems that are slowly but surely becoming out dated. That is to say... Windows7 and even then we have to disable or refuse updates of the browsers to maintain ease of use.

    Hi, there is no plan to drop java support or other plugins in firefox other than their definition npapi "ask to activate:

    What resistance the Thermocouple VI convert use for thermistor CYC?

    No, I do not claim that. I was just trying to interpret what you said.

    You indicated that you were using the Thermocouple convert VI. VI has a 'Sensor CSF' entry, and it can a value "Sensor IC" or "thermistor". So, I assumed you were talking about using this VI with "Sensor of CYC" = "thermistor". In this case the VI calls the convert thermistor reading VI to convert the voltage to temperature. It uses the default values for the resistance, and I guess that's what you were asking about. If you open the Panel before convert thermistor reading, you can see what resistance values it uses.

    Hello world. I'm saving a .vi in an earlier version of LabVIEW 2013 for 2010, but it says there is an error and the message that I show in the attachment. I discovered that the block which is the cause of the pain is one called 'Display Message to user Express VI. You can find it in the functions/programming/dialogue and Msg/display of the User Interface. All that being said, the question is... Can my .vi be converted in an earlier without having to replace the block 'display a Message"for any equivalent block from a previous version?

    IM sending the Pruebafinal.vi (the master vi) inside the asdf.zip so if it is possible, you can help out me and convert it for me.

    Thank you.

    I get an error when I try to open this express VI on your diagram. Personally, I would replace it by a case structure and function of dialogue 1 inside button.
