don't go when I press on enter after typing in the wonder bar

If I type a URL in the bar i.e. google.com to address and press enter firefox does not start the download page, I have to go manually, click on the green arrow, it worked before in 4.0 or whatever the previous version was

Those would be many extensions AVG or ZoneAlarm. Try disabling these first, restart Firefox, test. If that solves the problem, re-enable one at a time, restart Firefox and test until the problem occurs, then you know that the culprit.

If the tests of these extensions does not resolve the problem, you may need to try the Mode without failure of Firefox
