  I have such a problem that the changes made to the JNLP file at the server level are not being updated the JNLP file at the level of the customer if the application is started from a shortcut on the desktop.   The original shortcut should always point to the original code base. This is normal. In addition, I don't see how you can expect a JNLP installed (on the client side) to guess it's supposed to now recover the JNLP since a different code base!

  If I understand correctly, you are unable to open the shortcuts in internet Explorer on the desktop for a maximized window. Please, try the following steps and check if the problem persists.

  1. Right click on the shortcut on the desktop, and then click Properties.
  2. In the shortcut tab, change the option extended in the run section.
  3. Click OK.

  Check if the problem persists. Please post back your results for assistance.

  I am a user of Tor Browser, and I love the interface of Firefox. According to my page, my Firefox browser is up-to-date. But for some reason I can't save shortcuts to office for a Web site. Whenever I drag the icon beside a Web site (variously a glob, a green bolt and other icons), I get a mouse icon of denial no matter where I try to put the web shortcut on the desktop. This happens even when I drag the bookmarks of my bookmark bar! My guess is that something is blocked in Tor allowing no shortcuts settings. Any suggestions on where the parameters of the shortcuts are in Firefox?

  Fred, all other modules worked well. I contacted the people of Tor, and they were unsure of what's going on.   Try this if you do not have

  Windows Explorer to create the folders and shortcuts in your document folder, drag and drop them on your desktop.

  If you have completed the steps and was not even useful,

  Follow these steps:

  Try to create a shortcut and sending it on the desktop.

  (1) open: Start Menu ,.
  (2) right-click: Internet Explorer icon .
  (3) select: send to > desktop (create shortcut).

  There should be a shortcut on the desktop .

  Make sure that the "show desktop icon" has a check against it

  OR

  Just click on the empty part of the desktop, choose new > then select the folder to create. Right click on this folder , select Rename it.

  Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode.
