I had a problem of Update Manager application CC, so completely uninstalled. Now when I go to the Download Center to download the application, it tells me that I'm running a system that is no longer supported. System requirements show support for Mac OS X v10.7 and v10.8 - I am running v10.7. Clues as to why it does not work? Thank you!

Problem with Application Manager
I currently own Web and Design Premium CS6. My Adobe Application Manager gives me access to install After Effects CS6, first Pro CS6, CS6, CS6 Muse, speed Grade CS6 hearing, CS6 prelude, edge animate, Flash Builder and Touch App Plugins. The Application Manager also gives me the option to install some programs that are already installed (Photoshop CS6, Illustrator CS6, CS6 Flash, Acrobat X) but the other programs that are already installed with my version of CS6 (Dreameaver, Fireworks, InDesign) are shown as it has already installed. I also gives me the options to install all THE applications of CS6 on another computer that does not all installed CS 6 applications (only a CS 5.5)... and is not allowed to install apps CS6, either.
I don't understand any of this. I'm certainly not a subscriber of cloud. I checked my account to be sure, that there is no fault in this area... I have certainly NO subscription to anything on Adobe. Which of
is happening?

Well, there is never an obligation to buy free Adobe trials - you can download, install and run tests of tools, you have not already, or newer versions if you want - but you.

Recently, I had to update my Creative Cloud, (the package of Photoshop/Lightroom) software. Now when I open or other software, I get a dialog box indicating: cannot validate and I need to update my request manager and go to adobe.com/go/applicationsmanager. It sent me to an error page. How do I change my request handler so that I do not understand this dialog box?
You can update the Adobe application manager to:
- Adobe - Adobe Application Manager: for Macintosh: Adobe Application Manager
- Adobe - Adobe Application Manager: for Windows

Adobe Application Manager - download error
I have a subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. I downloaded the Application Manager. I opened the Manager, connect, then the computer just by saying download error. Please contact customer support.
The application manager also does not appear in programs. I thought that if I uninstall and reinstall what might work, but I can't actually uninstall it.
Any ideas?
I use:
Windows 7 Business - Service pack 1
64-bit operating system.
Ok.. Here is how I solved this problem. This could be a help to anyone. In one of the forums there was advice for a problem where Creative Cloud connection constantly requested ID, which is what precipitated this problem with Application Manager. I uninstalled creative Cloud connection then:
I dragged my file opm.db by dragging on the destop. I then went to re-download Creative connection Cloud, which caused the Adobe Application Manager to launch ask for my credentials and instead of the dreaded mistake of downloading, it launched. This has created a new opm.db file, which apparently now allows application Manager to load and work.
On Mac, you can find the opm.db file located in this folder:
\Library\Application Support\Adobe\OOBE -

6 installed Lightroom but not opened because as the necessary Application Manager.
I bought the upgrade of Lightroom6 a week ago and it runs, but when opening a message came: Adobe Application Manager, needed to verify your license is missing or damaged. Please download a new copy of Adobe Application Manager of http://www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager. I clicked on the message box and open Lightroom 6. Now, it does not open, and I downloaded application manager. However, I can't install it. It's just a zip called setup, with a folder called payloads and a single file, which none work. Thank you.
Here is the link to install Adobe Application Manager: Windows | Macintosh. Please try and let us know if it works.

Adobe Application Manager does not connect! Windows 7
Hello - hope somewhere there is someone who can help.
I have just purchsed clouds Creative suite 2 days ago - after the implementation of Macromedia Dreamweaver and Fireworks 8 for too many years
Setup
OS = Windows 7 32 bit - administrator - its a PC at home with no network home.
Here are the steps I did - I am trying to be detailed as possible, so maybe someone can help you
1 downloaded application manager
2 logged in and downloaded some of the products
3. application manager advised there were updates for installed products and tried to update - with and error.
4. at some point I think I had control of the parameters pop up windows accounts and I can have clicked No..
5. now, when I try to launch the Application Manager he asks logon there is a link, it displays my name so I (e-mail address and password to access adobe) 'I think' to Adobe the I get the error message following 'download error. Press try again or contact customer support. There are two options button, 'try again or Quit", new attempt just give the same message.
6. I have disabled the windows firewall.
7. I added the application manager to my firewall settings and application Trend Micro - same mistake
8. I can't open the apps that I downloaded. But I did not download all the
9. I have downloaded and run the Adobe creative suite cleaner - Manager of applications reinstalled - same mistake
This is the funniest.
I have just connected to the same PC, but on the profile of my son and ran the application Manager (I had to put my administrator password) and Manager of Application open, connected and now is download the software again.
It is a solution for now, but I don't want to keep connection to another account on the PC when I'm an administrator.
Any ideas?
Thank you
Andrew
Hi Mylenium
Thanks for the reply.
Well I thought it was one of those things windows requiring too much fiddling around so I did what was for a long time - a backup complete of all my data - and a reinstall windows and everything good I tried to make a "restoration of the previous point" but that did not work.
I made no changes to my Trend Micro application firewall settings as suggested
In regards the application manager runs on my 'son' on the PC login installs it worked, but updates has not therefore reinstalling windoiws from scratch
Thanks again
Andrew
