  • I can't update 6 CS, Adobe Application Manager cannot be installed and works doesn´t

I have CS 6 installed on my Windows PC (Windows 7). He worked for a long time. Now I can't update the program. As a first step, I get the message 'echec failure of the update, please download a new Version of the Adobe Application Manager '. When I did it and tried to install the application Manager, I got a new message: "Setup could not be initialized. Please download Adobe support advisor to identify your problem. "But the support Advisor was closed by Adobe and I can't download the program. What can I do now? (sorry for my bad English please).

    Navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe

Remove Adobe Application Manager and OOBE

    Then try to install it.

  • Adobe Application Manager cannot connect :(

    Hi all

Maybe someone will help me support is not

I bought a new laptop running 64-bit Windows 8. Then I installed the following software to my creative cloud subscription:

_ Lightroom, up and running fine

_ Photoshop, installed in trial mode, as he could not connect, well, I thought it was a temporary bug and leave it in the trial.

I couldn't update my final test software such that he asked to connect to the internet and enter the Adobe ID.

After a long discussion with a technical support agent Adobe it me to Photoshop to uninstall and reinstall once more. 'Ideal' that I can't download now even Photoshop like Application Manager wonder Adobe ID at the beginning.

After another verry long discussion with little support technical agents the only think that they can say this is probalbly a problem of language (Polish) and gave me local contact supports the team in Poland.

I'll do it, but I'm sure that's not the source of the problem.

    For info:

I'm not on a protected network, just a router and a DSL modem, even directly connected to DSL AAM cannot find internet connection. Even on a different network in a different place.

Even with the firewall and antivirus off MAO doesn't work. There is nothing in hosts. I am borrowing the server licenses adobe as indicated by the agents.

So everything works fine only shit AAM find a way to find my internet connection.

Oh and for the final, a second computer connected to the same home network have the same creative cloud liscences running, updated and works well.

So if anyone has an idea of what I need to do to not sue Adobe for 3 days lost to seek the solution I'll be happy to read it here

    I just can't work.

    M.

Ufff it works! Technical support in Poland helped to get directions for a solution. Thank you!

    Now I explain how:

Probably a process in Windows 8 blocks Adobe Application Manager that cannot connect to the internet.

A quick solution is to create a new user account and install all software of this account, as the programs are shared you need not use all the days of the account.

It is a solution for a while as each month what MAO will try to connect and check if your license is still in place.

In the end, I have to check all the processes one by one and disable one who blocks the AAM, which will certainly take me a lot of time

But for now I have a working software... Finally...

How much money will I get Adobe for this tip for debugging? A discount will be welcome for 3 days lost here :/

  • Adobe Application Manager cannot find Acrobat XI Mac Pro on MBP

    Hello

I tried several times, and personal support from Adobe yet contacted chat, to solve this problem, but when I run Adobe Application Manager, still shows that I have not installed Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for Mac.  He told me that my serial number is valid, but that it cannot find AA XI Pro on my MBP.  When I run Adobe Acrobat Pro XI for Mac on my MBP, I get a similar message.  Adobe Acrobat Pro XI is not yet in the list of applications for which I could possibly enter a serial number.  So, I wonder - Adobe has not yet clued in its own applications that he has released Acrobat Pro XI?

Seems all kinds of descendant and not professional to me.

    See you soon,.

    Hussar

Since the message that you have described, it shows that you have purchased the upgrade for Acrobat XI. You are eligible for an upgrade if you already have an earlier version of Acrobat. More details here - http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/buying-guide-upgrade-pricing.html

If you already have an earlier version of Acrobat, select this version from the drop-down list and provide the serial number of this version. For example, if you have Acrobat X and you decide to upgrade to Acrobat XI, then launch Acrobat XI you will get this message. Select Acrobat X and provide the serial number for Acrobat X so that your eligibility for discounted upgrade is checked.

If you do not have the earlier version of Acrobat, and yet you have purchased an upgrade, please contact customer support to solve this problem.

  • Adobe Application Manager does not update on Win 8.1-> cannot install apps

Since the update PC Windows 8.1, Adobe Application Manager that manages creative Cloud applications will not update, that is why we cannot install or update apps CC (specifically, Acrobat).

By clicking on the download button on the Acrobat of CC page, Adobe Application Manager begins to update, and then stops with error:

    We encountered the following problems:

    Adobe Application Manager cannot install.

    [Quit]

Repeated attempts fail.  It is urgent to admin several CC apps so to be forced to use the App handler brings us a break of substantial activity.

  • CC Adobe Application Manager fails to install...

I just bought Adobe CC (I am a current owner of the CS6 Production Premium) and login with my ID Adobe, has attempted to download Adobe Photoshop CC and got the following error message:

    Adobe Application Manager

    We encountered the following problems:

    Adobe Application Manager cannot install.

My system is Windows7 64 bit.  I looked through my Windows7 the event logs and don't show them that NO errors.

I tried to contact "live chat", but I seem to be on infinite 'hold' with estimated waiting who goes from 23 minutes to 22 minutes to 23 minutes to 22 minutes (did it for 50 minutes today) - I guess that a LOT of people have problems with CC.

I must say, my 'introduction' to Adobe Creative Cloud certainly was NOT a good.  If I can't get a solution soon, I'll just get a refund on my subscription of the CC and get other software "creative".  Not a happy customer.  I suspected that this subscription CC approach would be problematic, and it is!

    Hi robains,

I'm really sorry to hear that you are facing problem with the Installation of Adobe Application Manager.

  • Adobe application manager fails to update/install

Please help me correct this mistake and to update App eat properly.

I downloaded and am running versions of Creative Cloud CS6 of Illustrator and Photoshop that I installed in completed.  Now I am trying to download applications more and encounter this error:

I click on 'Download' on InDesign (for example)

Download initiates the launch of the Application Manager, App manager opens the main window then 'setup initialization window '.

Manager application flashes this warning for a fraction of a second: "other instances of the application running adobe Manager that must be closed before you install this product. Please close or wait until they end. ' (see image). This warning closes on its own after just a second.Screen shot 2013-02-19 at 10.18.55 PM.png

Then it continues to install for a few minutes, request my password, then fails with the message, "we met the following questions, Adobe Application manager cannot install ' (no error number, see picture)

    Screen shot 2013-02-19 at 8.16.51 PM.png

Photoshop and Illustrator still works fine, but none of my Adobe (including Air) applications will update correctly now. I tried to delete the App Manager from applications > utilities and re - install, but that also creates an error.

I have looked for the Manager app duplicate files, but came up empty.  I ran the app support advisor and it checks good.  I have a token one if it helps.

I'm under 10.6.8 iMac and I also have CS5 installed on this computer, if that makes a difference.

Any help would be appreciated.   I would like to be able to run applications that currently I pay a monthly fee.

I tried the update of the application manager abobe manually from the adobe Web site... and this solved my problem... and then update photoshop cc as well.
