  I don't think that you listen to what I say.  You use the embed code is old and will not work with recent browsers, and as you have, it would be incomplete, even in those ancient times.

  You don't have to use the page that Flash produces when you publish an html page.  You can copy and paste this code in place of what you now that does not.  CS6 provides a little more efficient integration of code that CS4 will be, but still CS4 will bring something better than what you use.

  Hello, I have problems with the latest version of flash player 10. Everything worked before the upgrade, but since I'm not able to get BlendMode.LAYER and wmode = transparent works in firefox (2 or 3).

  Basically, if I'm using blendMode = BlendMode.LAYER; in a flash that has transparent background in firefox, I get these ugly borders around all the objects that have the blendMode set to layer.

  I thought about it myself... Duh... The buttons in the swf file amounted to 100 x 100 and I did the button in the same size mxml file. When I increased the size of the button in the file mxml to 150 x 150, then the label showed.

  Ah... it is what explains why you would be to see these icons.

  When open the Captivate library, it goes through and checks the locations of the objects in the library to see if it can still connect to the location of the source files.

  I would say that the way around this problem would be to have the path to all the source files replicated on each machine you are working on.  So if you have configured a directory C:/projects with exactly the same structure of folder on each PC that you are using, the path to the source files would remain the same.  But according to me, trying to keep all the files in three synchronized machines always upward will be more trouble than it's worth, personally.

  Found a way around the problem. It is not the most amazing, but it's fast and easy. The pdf is also much lighter

  1. Copy industry
  2. Delete all except bottom and blocks
  3. Save as jpeg
  4. Open original
  5. Make the opacity of 0 blocks
  6. Remove the background and replace them with jpeg
  7. Be happy

  I am currently working on a project which is an interactive and dynamic elemtry school presentation to the Denmark. I finished my project and it works perfectly, but only locally on my computer.

  The final draft should be implemented on the site and public work. I tried to implement the project on the site and unfortunately, it does not work as expected.

  When all the files where transferred to the ftp server, only a single files are responding and appear correctly.

  Interactivity of the project is based on a structure of Action script, which is based on the smooth transition between swf files (load another swf file after the action is triggered by clicking on a button) do any work.

  After days of trying to figure out the solution, I'm totally lost. One thing is to publish the project so that all action script will work and answer between swf files, and the other thing is to make it user-friendly for the Android and apple products.

  The presentation is quite heavy because of its loading external swf content files, which are images and movies.

  I really hope you can help me with my problem. I will gladly share the files and codes if it would help solve the problem.

  It could be a problem of location of file from loading.  When you place a swf file in an HTML base for targeting anything that the SWF load becomes the folder of the html page.  You may need to adjust the target so that the target of swf files, load it as if it were in the same folder as the html page.

  The captivate slide is the object that captures the event. Why do you not use a transparent movieclip or invisible button to capture the event? Then check if e.target.name == name of the instance.

• Rendering problems when publishing to SWF, MP4 format

  A part of my screen Capture look like this:

  

  The image appears well within Captivate 5, 5.5 or 6 (6.0.1.240) (on Windows 7). However, when I preview the project in one of the versions of the said or publish to SWF format or mp4, the colors white and yellowish alternation table are not preserved:

  

  In addition, the yellowish area in some slides will creep on in other sections of the published output (notice that the image above is only a part of the whole capture zone). These problems occur not in the output HTML 5, but I have to be able to output mp4. And I don't think really profesional is to have images of the software to make me do a simulation under par.

  The problem does not occur in sections of full-motion, and the difference makes this more noticeable problem. I checked out some of my old projects (probably made in Captivate 4 or more) and this problem did not exist.

  I tried record 16 - bit and 32-bit color mode options, by disabling the compression by advanced project, percentage, do not compress the SWF, strength to change the JPEG republish and nothing has helped.

  That slide quality do you use? If it is low, replace optimized. It is the first proposal, the only one, you don't mention. Sorry if you tried that as well.

  16-bit/32-bit is for demo Full Motion recording or HD video, but I think you're talking about normal capture workflow.

• AS3 SWF to MP4

  Hi all

  I got a CS5 AS3 Greensock Player 10 SWF movie that's all the code on frame 1.

  I need to import it to Premiere or After Effects as being my intro to film sequence.

  I need to end up with output MP4 (H.264) at 30 fps.

  What is the best method to get an import of high quality for these programs?

  You will need to use an external SWF to AVI/MOV converter. You can search google and find those. Essentially, they run the SWF and capture each frame converting it all into a video. Otherwise Flash can export timeline animations as you've seen code does not export.
