I've found a workaround.  If I used Windows software to scan, it works correctly.  It works just not when I use the button on the printer itself.

  • Problem installing CS4 on the new computer windows 10

I put the disc in and entered the serial number and got the tick, and then it says no other adobe products aren't on the computer, so he asked me to produce another adobe product (which in itself is strange). I've owned CS3 Adobe Illustrator, however, it was not yet in the list of options. I have a value of $2100,00 product in front of me, however, I had to choose a trial.

In this case, you need to unlock the upgrade version CS 4 serial number: [if the 4 CS is updated serial number]

    See the link below:

Error: "this serial number is not for a product calling it" | Adobe Creative Suite

Or you can also contact the Adobe customer support, they can check with the serial number and help you in the process of activation as a result.

  • Re-installing Lightroom on the new laptop, keywords from images! (I think!)

    Hello

    I use Lightroom 5.2

I spent several days it is has updated all of my keywords in LR using my old laptop. I have about 8 000 image files, mainly RAW CR2 files, all recorded on a disc toshiba external hard.

Now I have a new laptop and reinstalled LR on this new laptop computer. I'm starting to import all image files in LR since the external hard drive, but I noticed that there are no keywords in the version of LR installed on the new laptop.

I perhaps foolishly assumed that when I keyworded all files first time round the metadata would be saved in the CR2 file itself, such that it would be accessible by other applications, or, in this case, by a version of LR installed on a different laptop. This doesn't seem to be the case.

I'm doing something wrong? Are there key words, but I can't see them somehow?

I really don't go back through 8000 files and re - keyword all, it took me days!

If all this fails, can I go back to the version of LR on my old laptop (which I still have) and somehow join keywords in files on a more permanent basis so that they are recognized by my new laptop, or are what I'd need to set it as default when first, I realized the keywording exercise?

    Thank you very much
    Tom

But it's a brand new version/installation of LR. Then it will be a brand-new photo as much as the new version of LR is concerned, used? How they see the before image file?

Your keywords are in Lightroom, more precisely, they are in the catalog file. You must transfer the catalog file, as described in the link I provided. Import photos is not the way to do it.

I tried to work through the tutorial you linked to, but I'm stuck at step 4: transfer. For example, he says to transfer the catalog, etc.. But I'm not transfer anything I am? I just have to say the new version of LR where to look to find image files...

You MUST copy the file from the catalog to the new computer. Then, although it is a new installation of Lightroom, you MUST use your existing keywords with catalog. That's the key, you MUST use the existing catalog file.

  • Installed CC on the new laptop, why am I allowed only trial version?

Initially, I bought the CC and installed on a Macbook pro. Now, I bought a new Macbook pro 2014 and installed CC, but it only allows me to run the trial version. As far as I know, CC allows the software to be installed on both machines at the same time and since I'm logged in with my Adobe ID on the new laptop, it should recognize that I have a license, or not?

What can I do to change trial version of standard license?

Thanks for the confirmation of Martin. I see that you have two different accounts with Adobe. This account for Kingdom studio has your subscription. I would ask you please use this e-mail address to activate the product on the target computer.

  • Cannot CS4 update on the new laptop running Windows 7 64 bit

I just upgraded a laptop slow 2 years running Vista 32-bit to a new laptop Asus G73JW running under Windows 7 64-bit. It's a laptop very fast with 8G of RAM, 1.5 GB dedicated graphics card, res HD full 1920 x 1080-player in solid state for the use of a disk etc. It's a beast of a laptop that starts completely in 10 seconds approximately and it was built for HD players. Needless to say I'm pretty excited to be able to work on my favorite Adobe software, which is mostly Photoshop and Premiere Pro.

All about the laptop works fine but... I installed my CS4 Production Premium without issue, however, the Adobe update will not work. I tried about 10 times now, reboot, try various programs to try updates etc, nothing works. They are updated very important, because the software will not properly work in several programs without the updates. I can't find anything on this specific issue, someone has had this problem with Windows 7 64 bit?

FYI, everything has worked with Vista 32 bit, including updates.

I'm quite frustrated now and I just want to start using the software, and I would really appreciate any suggestions that anyone can have.

I already have an e-mail in Asus to see if the latest NVidia GTX 460 M driver graphics card can be updated on my system. There are a few other drivers that I try to update as well to see if that will help.

    Thank you in advance,

    Aaron

I built my computer, I installed Win7 Pro 64-bit as the only user and I still have an option "Run as Administrator" when I right click on an EXE file

You do not have this option that makes me think that something on your installation is corrupt

  • Re install programs on the new laptop

Hello! I have Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium and my phone is dead! Had to get a new laptop computer and just tried to re install my programs, but it came with the installation of the error. How to install?

    Available downloadable Setup files:

Download and installation help links Adobe

Help download and installation to Prodesigntools links can be found on the most linked pages.  They are essential; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click on a link that does not have these listed steps, open a second window by using the link to Lightroom 3 to see these "important Instructions".

  • Failed to install CS3 on the new laptop

I recently bought a new Dell laptop to replace the old. For some reason, my CS3 will not install on the new computer. There was no window message indicating a problem. So, what'S the problem?

You probably need to install using a compatibility mode, and it is always possible CS3 is too old to be compatible with your new operating system, whatever it is.

  • Put CS4 on the new laptop after other stolen

    Hello

I have the CS4 Suite of Design on 2 macbooks. While traveling abroad, I have my stolen laptop.  I bought a new macbook and I installed CS4 on it. I read that you can disable and re-enable in order to see the serial number, so I can put it on a new.  I have 2 questions:

    1. is it possible to disable remote a fly?  Unfortunately, there no record... I know! I should have, but I did not...

    2. when I turn off and turn on the laptop I still, it does not show the serial number.  I have disable and close.  When it reopens it does not show the screen of the option with the serial number.  Photoshop POP just straight up.

Y at - it something I am doing wrong?  If the serial number is not obtained in this way, is there another way I can get this set up?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Ah, you have already performed the procedure to http://indesignsecrets.com/help-ive-lost-my-serial-number.php on the machine, you still - no result.

On Windows, there are a number of free programs that can be used to retrieve the serial numbers of the installed programs.  Maybe you can try to find (Google) if there are similar programs for the Mac?

  • Problem installing ssd in the new HP H8 - 1437c

I installed and cloned the C: drive on the new SSD using the data migration software provided with the SSD drive. I use Windows 8.

    • How can I now boot from the SSD?  I tried to set it as the startup disk.
    • What I first need to erase the original HD? or is it possible to keep windows on both drives?
    • Can I migrate the original HD recovery partition to SSD?

I moved the SATA cable for the SSD drive to post the original HD was in.  I also tried to disconnect the original HD and just boot from the SSD drive, but Windows doesn't load.

This is a brand new computer and I'm moving all on the SSD before starting to install anything.  The SSD is 120 GB and has plenty of room for the operating system.

I'm not familiar with the system bios UEFI (spelling?).  Why not just select to boot from the SSD drive? What is 'Bootable Windows disc'

Thanks guys I think I solved it. I used these instructions to change the drive letter.  http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/223188

  • Problem installing with WPS54G on new computer w/Windows 7

When settiing upward the PS on a new computer with Windows 7, I get 2 error messages.  The first is: "address is not valid - enter a valid address - try again."  The other rises after that: "Put in failure-error Code 87 printer."

The PS is set up on another computer in my home and works very well.  The printer is set up on the new computer.  Is this a compatibility issue with Windows 7?

    Can I fix?

As the Printserver is already installed, you don't need to run the CD for the Printserver again on the new computer. You just need to open ports on computer Windows7... Check out this link.
