  Can you evaluate the Web site please I just complete for my boyfriend. It looks fine in Internet Explorer, but in Firefox the menu bar is deformed that mess to the top of the entire page. I did the browser compatibility check in Dreamweaver, and there is no problems. Can you get it someone please let me know what I can do. Also please give me any other pointers on how the site looks. • Slide show of looking at a problem in browsers

  I'm still fairly new to Dreamweaver, please bear with me.  I'm working on a site with a slideshow, and the design looks great in Dreamweaver, but doesn't in IE or Chrome.  I should clarify that - it renders in IE but first appears a yellow box rectaungular who says that IE has restricted the web page to run scripts/ActiveX controls, and then even when I click on 'Allow', an another security warning box will appear.  Not cool.  In Chrome, none of the larger images or thumbnails show.  I used a slideshow spry and suspects something is wrong with the files xml or js.

  The folder is version 0.7 xpath.js and SpryData.js version 0.52, s style sheet and "Data.xml", that supports images.

• Problems with different browsers

  Hi all! I'm working on a site that has thumbnails of reversal (when you click on it - they lead to a video). Turning thumbs work properly in Safari, but not in Chrome. Examples:

  As you can see, one of the thumbnails works well in Chrome, but the other is not. Actually, I think that miniature Eveo (and maybe one or two others) are the ONLY ones working in Chrome. All bearings work in Safari. I tried to open the site in Firefox on another computer and all thumbnails only start acting funny here. Don't know what that's all. Here is the code for the two thumbnails in my examples:

  Of course, I would like to than the thumbnails to work in any browser possible. This is the only problem between browsers, the rest of the work of the site very well, so I'm not sure what's going on. I'm a beginner, so I don't know much about codiing (go easy on me! haha).   It's a head scratcher! File sizes seem to be large for the type, size and design of the image. The Red bearings must be no more of a few KB. Do you use the function "Save for web" in Photoshop? Icon next to each chart is also interesting. The Aldo_roll has the saved to web jpeg icon while the Axona_roll has an icon of PS.

  If the PS out save as .jpg, I would leave them as the one. You could try archiving of your current flight path images in a folder 'OLD' and then re-record all your PSD template - using save for web and ensuring that extensions are still .jpg. Which could also store the difference of the icon in your window of DW.

• Links on the BBC site as blank pages or flashing on the screen momentarily and jump once again (as in Firefox 20.0.1 not other browsers))

  The BBC last week have updated their Web site. Since Firefox seems to have trouble opening certain pages of the site. Links opens as a blank page. Sometimes the page flashes on the screen and disappears immediately. Pages can be found through a Google search, but will still not open in Firefox. Firefox only seems to have this problem, other browsers function normally. I tried to contact the BBC unsuccessfully. From what I've read on the site there are a lot of people complain about the appearance and content (no feature) and I guess they are wading through a large number of complaints.

  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

• Problem with HTML5 video play do not

  I implemented a simple video test HTML5 in Dreamweaver CS4.  I pulled the code necessary to the W3 schools site:

  After making some adjustments in my code for the path and of dimensions, I downloaded the clip and Web page to my server.  Here is the result and I have a problem with browsers; in Chrome, it plays a lot; in IE 9, the video is choppy and the toolbar does not have the option full screen as in Chrome:

  I also downloaded all on a second server, we're completely different than above.  The result is worse - again, the video plays well in Chrome, but in IE9, the video does even appear at all.  See below:

  I see the old bug to this https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=264354 topic but it seems light may or should not cause problems, and browsers like chrome have problems loading page (see http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/chrome-27-firefox-21-opera-next, 3534 - 5.html) and they have it on by default. Note that there are not really of developers here. Just for the most part voluntary and or contributors.

  I downloaded Firefox 22 on my laptop but in various websites. that is, shipspotting.com, You Tube, My Yahoo, etc. I'm unable to use the upload on these Web sites and bookmarks function does not work properly in My Yahoo Web site.

  When I'm in Mode safe, I could use the download for shipspotting and YouTube functions; but, when I restarted in normal mode the old problem returned and send photos, videos, etc. was not possible.

  Iyogi experts agreed with me that the security program total defense that they convinced me to install was too tight, too much confinement and the cause of my internet problems downloading. Total Defense has been uninstalled, expenses and a virus protection hopefully less invasive has been obtained, free of charge, from Microsoft.

  Browsers, Chrome, IE and Firefox works fine now.

  The laptop supports the Mobility Radeon® X 2600.
  Have you tried the driver from the ATI driver page?

  Usually such driver may be installed via the Device Manager.
  Choose the graphics card, select the Advanced Setup, this would help you to force the Win OS to select the downloaded driver.
  This should work but notes; the page ATI driver doesn't support protection against overheating. So, this could lead to a higher temperature of GPU

  Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. Was reading your post and I assume that you have installed the current version of Chorme is Chrome 31.

  What I said is that it is actually caused by the Chrome itself as the new version of chrome has some features that are perhaps not compatible with the GPu installed in the device. What I can recommend is to try to use Chorme 30 or dolphin browser. Personally, I prefer Dolphin Browser.

  I have two ongoing problems.  Don't know if they are connected to each other.  I have Windows XP SP3.

  1. in Windows Live Mail, I constantly get a message when the sync (download or download messages) saying "not connected".  Usually, I have to reboot to clear and be able to download my messages pop.  Sometimes to leave Windows Live Mail and reopening help.
