  In order to burning a DVD on my laptop that is older, I'm trying to transfer a working from a library folder and insert it into another on the old computer. I used a USB key. All the data has been transferred, but how do i:

  1) enter a library on the old computer? I DID this, but it will not appear in the Final Cut. I "Showed the content" and it allowed me to put the file in THIS library, but it will not appear in the column "libraries."

  (2) create its OWN library on the old computer?

  Stay out of the whole library. This is a complex database. If the components have moved the database becomes useless. Pretty much all you need to do inside the library can be done from the inside of the PCF.

  If you cannot move the entire library from one machine to another on an external drive, you can move a project of a new library. That will copy only the clips used in the project. You can take it on the other machine. You can also export a master file and consider on the other machine to make the DVD. It is perhaps the simplest.

  Sorry, you have trouble. If you are eager to continue working in Premiere Pro with a project that you have started in the first Clip, you can send the video to Premiere Pro of the 'temporary' Adobe ID, you did. Then, connect to your creative cloud on adobe.com with the temporary login account and navigate to your AdobePremiereClipExport folder, and then work together. Share the primary file with your ID from Adobe. Now, when you are connected to creative cloud it will appear in your main account.

  Has to do with the combination of several lists of Avid editing - required due to an issue with the names in double coil in the original film by Arri. I can move one at a time, but it is very tedious. Is it possible to select several clips and move them together?

  I'm on CS4, but most of my clips are written Actionscripts 1 and 2.
  
  I have a sound control in one of my movies that I would like to copy on my next project. Is it possible to copy the clip to a FLA and then paste it into a second FLA?

  Firstly, the two FLA should be written in the same script of action, such AS 2 or 3 AS, you can't have one written in AS2 and the other in AS3 (unless it isn't no matter what coding in the mc), then you just open the two fla, open the library files and drag one to the other a It will copy all of the files associated with the mc.

  I divided a 56 minutes of recording into segments, for a total of 17 minutes.  But can't seem to organize either in two separate events or projects for the more editing before finalizing a movie.  Have tried several methods without success.  Legal advisers?

  How did you divide the video?  If you have done so in a project calendar you don't put the segments on an event.  You can, however, copy and paste into the schedules of other projects.

• Moving files from one event to another in the same library

  When I try to move the file by dragging the clip from one event to another, I get this message that "the file could not be opened because there is no file of this type." I have Final Cut Pro X was last updated.

  I find it interesting since when I imported the raw images from an SD card for Final Cut Pro, I copied all the files in the library. I even played the files and they worked.

  I would be very grateful for any answer I can receive. If worse comes to worse, I can always import the images even once to the appropriate event, because I still images raw on one SD card.
