Problem of Flash Player with the BBC News site

My HP Pavilion laptop has a specific problem with the BBC News website.

When I click on a video, it starts loading and then stays black. Our other PCs and laptops do not have this problem.

The parameters are defined as the BBC help advise. It is possible to watch videos on other sites.

I use the reader most recent Flash (uninstalled, installed again), Windows 7.

The problem is the same with Explorer, Firefox, Opera, chrome.

Please who has an idea of what I might try next. I tried too many forums, help and (re) install.

Wow, I have solved my problem! Not with the help of the BBC and Adobe sites,

just after the hard try several settings. It appeared that this global settings is not accessible when you right click on the video window. I got another window of Global setting than on the Adobe Flash site.

The people at Adobe: why is that?

  • Anyone having trouble installing Flash Player with the latest Firefox?

I can't get Flash Player for Firefox (Windows 8.1).  Works fine in IE but when I try to add as an add-on for Firefox it goes to the installation manual and then fails with the message that it is already running in another application.  I disabled it in Internet Explorer in the case where the problem was, but using the control function shows that this is not on my computer.  I tried things on the help page but my menu of Firefox (latest version) does not have all the options shown as enable Java.  I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox.  I already have Shockwave for Director as an add-on, but before even as I put that in it happened.

Download the installer of Mike link and save it on the disk.

    Restart Windows.

Run the installer downloaded before anything else.

  • Problem installing flash player 11.0.1.152 with Windows Vista 64-Bit

    Hello

I can't get Flash Player to install on my computer with Windows Vista 64-Bit - is not serious if I try with Firefox, Opera or IE (usually, I use Firefox).

The download is not a problem, but when I run the .exe downloaded, the file disappears from my download folder and nothing happens - not to mention that the launch of a process called install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aih_3.exe, which does nothing. The usual installation popup never appears. After that I can not try to start the installation again, until the deactivation of the process via the Task Manager ("that one instance of this application can run"). No matter if I try the download and installation with or without 'McAffe security more' btw - same result.

I have never had such a problem before - Flash Player 10.3 has been and no problem to install and use.

I tried all the measures proposed in the troubleshooting section on the official website, including measures for advanced troubleshooting (uninstall the old version, run as administrator, disable the software firewall, disable antivirus, etc.). Nothing helps.

I have never had these problems with my laptop running Windows 7 - just my desktop computer with Vista 64-bit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Flash Player on the transition to Windows 7

I've just updated my operating system from Windows XP to Windows 7 Pro (SP1). I can't install Adobe Flash plugin for fire Fox and Seamonkey on Windows 7. I managed to install Flash internal Explorer, and Chrome.

I have tried many remedies offered on your web site and various blogs - all without success. They included uninstalling Ad-blocking, suspending the firewalls and Antivirus systems, uninstall and reinstall Flash etc. I am currently on version 16 of Flash.

With Windows XP Flash worked on all browsers without any problems. I use the same Dell 9200PC without modification.

Is there any fix that I missed this annoying problem?

How to upgrade version of adobe flash player on the tablet of Microsoft Surface?

Go to search the web, it appears on the surface Rt comes with adobe flash 11.3 it is the last version that is compatible with the RT 11.5 was released, but he is not yet a compatible system for the surface.  I would say that windows update will tell us when a new version comes out.  If you want to force the installation when the update is made available, I suggest searching for "install optional updates ' which will allow you to install then right rather than opening the item updates control because it only allows you to check (all by the charm of the search)!

  • When I try and play BBC I player or the BBC radio he will play for about 30 seconds and then starts to buffer.

    Original title: download

Just upgraded to Win.8 when I try and play BBC I player or the BBC radio he will play for about 30 seconds and then starts to put in the memory buffer, all of the ideas.

    Hi Mike,.

This could be a problem with Internet streaming on BBC iplayer or BBC radio.

I would like to gather some details related to the query:

    (1) is this problem specific to the reader of the BBC or BBC radio? Are you having the same problem watching videos online or listen to music online on the computer?

    (2) deal with the issue with a single channel on the radio?

    (3) how you try to use the iplayer? It uses the browser? If so, what is the Internet browser?

If this problem is specific to the BBC radio or iplayer, you can post the query on the forum from the BBC to help:

    http://www.BBC.co.UK/iPlayer/episode/p0196ln8/The_Forum_Fragility_in_Nature/#

Please get back to us if the issue is not specific to the BBC player and we would be happy to help you come.

  • University of Galgotias - problem of Flash Player in Firefox

    Hello

I am Garima, studying at the University of Galgotias. I have a problem with the flash player, it is working in Google Chrome but does not not in Mozilla Firefox. I have a version update of flash player. Please can someone recommend any solution

    Hello Garima,

Google Chrome uses a different type of plugin that Firefox. Google Chrome embeds Flash Player in the browser if you do not have to install separately.  Using Firefox, go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download the installer for Firefox.

  • Problem installing Flash Player from Adobe.

Hello everyone, I'm here because im having a problem with the Installation of Flash Player. The thing is. The download works like a charm. But once she moves in the installation Phase. It stops at halfway (course of 60-80%) and tells me that I have enough Permission to install Flash. Now, I have read the Forums. I have problems and I tried to run as an administrator. But... It simply doesn't get it. Aaaaand since Firefox requires a bit there. Well... I want the Flash Player to fully settle on my computer so I have no problem!

    However... Thank you for reading my possibly one of many of these requests for help, but I'm really in need. It has just begun to irritate me xD;

There seems to be a with the files permissions issues and the FlashInstall.log file would tell me who, but because you can't get to it, we will try to generate a different log file. Follow these steps:

    1. Download the installer from get.adobe.com/flashplayer(note the backup store).
    2. Open the command prompt window by clicking the Start button and in the Serach box type: cmd.exe
    3. When the lance of the command prompt window, drag the installer to the location that it was recorded on the key to successful space window command prompt and type / debug
      • It should look similar to (the name of the file may differ): C:\Users\labuser\Desktop\install_flashplayer14x32_mssd_aaa_aih.exe/Debug

        • Note there is a space between the name of the file and the / and there is NO space between / and debug
        • If there are spaces in the path of the directory, the command must be wrapped in quotes, for example: / Debug "C:\Documents and Settings\labuser\Desktop\install_flashplayer14x32_mssd_aaa_aih.exe".
    4. Click Enter to continue.  The installation process will begin.
      • When you are finished, if there are errors, take a screenshot of the installation dialog window and close the window.
    5. A file named host.develop.log will be saved in the same location as the installation program has registered at
      • You may notice the lack the Setup online file. It's because it deletes itself once it is executed, so it will be is no longer registered locally.
    6. Post the file host.develop.log by following the instructions How to share a document or using the method that you used in your previous comment to view the screenshot.

  • Flash Player for the form of intranet distribution - online

https://www.Adobe.com/cfusion/mmForm/index.cfm?name=distribution_form & PV = FP cannot be accepted and downloaded

Interesting; I just tried the form (using Firefox 16.0.2) and I could send the form without completing all data in it.

As a temporary workaround, try another browser.

(But if you need the files to download urgently, you can download them from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html)

I keep it here in this forum, because it is not a Flash Player problem in itself, but a problem with the Adobe Web site.

  • Firefox becomes very slow with the all new Yahoo Mail

Problems with the all-new Yahoo! Mail version: everything worked very well, but since the two latest updates of Firefox I started to notice that Yahoo was consuming a lot of CPU (it varies from 35% to 40% and is on the top list of programs CPU consumption) and the browsing experience is not so pleasant - slow. If I quit Firefox and reopen it, becomes faster, but after about 30 min slow / high CPU consumption again. Then I had to go back to the classic version of Yahoo Mail and everything works fine and consumed less CPU. Did I live it? Is it a question of Yahoo Mail? Is there a solution? (Macbook Pro early 2011 / Mac OS X 10.7.4 / Firefox 12.0) Thank you!

Try to start Firefox in safe mode. This mode disables all extensions, customizations, hardware acceleration, etc., temporarily for the diagnosis and troubleshooting. If Firefox works fine in Safe Mode, then it is probably a problem with the add-on. Restart Firefox in normal mode, and then type "subject: addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions, restart Firefox between each one, until you find the troublemaker.

  • I need to access sites that require adobe flash player on the iPad.  What can I use to allow me to access?

I need to access sites that require adobe flash player on the iPad.  I can access these sites on my imac with adobe flash player then why not on my ipad.

What can I use to allow me access to these sites, which are for educational purposes for my grandson to allow him to do his homework?

While you can get Adobe Flash on the iMac, you can't be on the iPad. There are some browsers in the App Store that will emulate flash, I think that one of them is atomic, or something like that. Do a search on the App Store and you should find something.

    Hey Papi Williams,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forum.

From the description of the problem, it seems that you are unable to download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player on your computer. I understand the inconvenience.

    1. What version of Adobe flash player you have downloaded?
    2. What Web browser are you using to view the website?
    3. Which site did you download Adobe Flash Player?

Let us try the following steps and check if it helps to solve the problem.

You can read this article and check if the Flash Player is installed correctly on the computer.
