Problem of moving objects by small increments

Hey everyone, I've seen this similar question before but none of the solutions seem to help my problem. I'm trying to move an object in a fairly small increase, I have the box Increments preferences keyboard set to its lowest number, but I still need to move my object 1/3 as long. I also tried to manually move the object to the correct point with my mouse and it takes just return to the area where he was sitting, which was as close as I could get it with the help of the arrow keys. I disabled to line up on the grid and snap to point, no change in my result. Basically, I am trying to align a smaller triangle on a part of a larger triangle to act as an area of shading. All solutions? Thanks in advance.

mblaney,

It looks like the attribute Align to pixel grid ghost haunting you, as SRiegel suggested.

Or maybe snap to grid.

Are both unchecked (the former when the black triangle is selected)?

  • Deletion of video moving object (use duplicate or Roto brush?)

    Hello

I had a really hard time trying to remove clips moving objects. I am attempt to disassemble head out of the straighter statue, but could not find an effective way to do... When I use the clone stamp, she keeps track, but I can't seem to blend in realistically, given that the color of the sky goes like pans right claw. I also tried to use a cut-out image of heaven and who followed, but who could not blend as well...

If anyone has any suggestions for this problem, I would be very happy. I have this same problem with a few other clips as well.
    Thank you
    G

So I downloaded your video and took a look. To replace the head in the second figure on the left, I simply moved frame 250, duplicate the layer film, used the Clone Stamp to replace the head by Sky giving lots of filling, value paint paint on all chassis and paint to the entire timeline is extended. I also applied layer > time > Freeze Frame in the clip. Then I wrote before the first slip so that I could use a mask to be cut precisely around the neck. I then added a null value to follow movements in the comp and gave a quick run movement to the images pick up a few points on the second figure of the left who lived below the neck. I ran a path of motion, applied the path of motion for the null value, then related the pre-comp to the null so that it would follow the movement of the camera.

Took about 10 minutes. Here's a CS6 project file that uses your footage. You need to replace the images in your computer and then it should work.

You can use the PSD that you created instead of all the paint and motorhomes. IOW, if you replace the demo by the PSD you made to the appropriate image then calls on your mask and related DSP to null, everything should work perfectly.

  • Problem of scaling objects

Recently I have problems scaling of objects in Illustrator.

I created an 8 x 8 mm rectangle and tried to Center on a 10 × 10 mm in canvas. What gave me Illustrator was 7 761 × 8 114 mm rectangle, which would not focus (this is a bit off). Whenever I try 8 mm across the rectangle it now clings to the 7 761 × 8 114 mm.

I turned on and off at each function snap to grid, I could find, nothing works.

    CORVIN

    CORVIN,

I think that you are haunted by the ghost of align it on the pixel grid .

You can select the entire document and in the Transform palette, uncheck align on the pixel grid and also uncheck align new objects to the pixel grid in the Options.

Snap to grid of pixels is the default value for certain types of documents.

You can avoid those, or change the default value.

  • Determine if there is a moved object.

I would like to know on how to determine if there is a moved object. Is there a way to do this?

I don't know if you start an another slides on the other object it will stop the moved object.

Perhaps there is a public service that will interview on this subject?

    Randall

From what I see in the help documentation, the startDrag method does not return a value when it is running, and the class Sprite is not an event that are associated with him from being dragged, so it is unlikely that a drag status is preserved automatically anywhere.  The second example I provided, which you say you use, should be enough for what you want.

  • Problem with moving an object

    Hello

When I select an object and tries to move on a specific place, it moves not this exact spot away distance... How can I solve this problem?

    Shubham,

This could be an effect of snap to grid of pixels, or an (other) type of involuntary snap.

If necessary, you can turn off snap to grid of pixels in the Transform, current object palette both for new objects (in the options).

You can consult to slam into the drop-down list display.

  • Problem with moving of the objects after adding to the stadium

    Hello
I am a student using a version of educational license of Flash MX, obtained through my University, as a prototyping tool. Everything has been fine until last night, when I learned that I couldn't anything reposition on the stage. I am something of a novice with Flash Mx and have been unable to find out what is the cause of the problem. I think I inadvertently used a combination of control keys to change a particular setting. The problem manifests itself first when I added a combo box from the components Panel to the stage and it is located in the upper left corner and refused to be moved!
    Any ideas gratefully accepted.

    This problem has been resolved.

  • Why none of the moving objects are detected?

I use Adobe Premiere elements 4.1 to edit (drone) Phantom images smooth 1920 x 1080.  There is no foreground subject, but there are several background characteristics that are quite evident profiles.  When I try to apply the motion tracking, it keeps telling me: ' none of the detected objects in motion, please only use Select-object to mark the object to follow. "  This message is presented to me after I click Select object, adjust the limits and then click on object of the track.  I tried several different features of many different sizes and I still get this message.  The video is similar to this, from about 2 minutes: Upper North Fork River Kings (raw) - YouTube.

What I am doing wrong and how do I get first to follow a feature in the background?

I downloaded your image and created a video motion with her moving on the screen. I couldn't follow the boldest exclusively, but when I chose a larger area surrounding the most "BOLD" I have not had any problems at all. See the Image

Apparently, you need to register more contrast in your selection to follow successfully. Center the boldest in the largest area of caterpillars as best you can.

    Best regards, Terry

  • Problem with pinned objects objects/non-epingles on the same page

I have a vertical menu on my website that appears on every page; It is attached on the upper left corner. On many pages of my site, I pinned objects (images, text, etc.) adjacent to the menu PIN. Almost all the scrolling on my Web site is parallax scrolling (horizontal or vertical). I'm running into a problem where, depending on the size of the browser window, not pinned ojbects overlap the menu PIN. The positioning of objects on the page seems to depend on whether or not the pinned object; I guess my question is possible to the objects of the PIN over another? I want the menu to stay no scrolling, but I want to make sure my non pinned objects passing never cross / overlap of the menu because it looks so sloppy. The question arises when the browser window is too small, but again, I want to make sure this will never happen anyone who is looking at my site. The first photo, this is how it should look like (what it looks like when the browser window is large), the second photo is the problem that I'm trying to fix.

  • InDesign CC 2014 spinning wheel for 3 seconds each time when moving objects

I'm working on a magazine, not that big, 64 pages (I do often 100s of pages) and it's happened before with CC. I move a text box, picture, shape, QR code or anything on the page, I get the spinning wheel for about 3 seconds until the object is moving and the slider is 'released '. Sometimes up to 6-7 seconds. If I press "Cancel", takes an object as much time to go back. Seems to be random, the document is well a minute, but if it starts to happen with a document from the downturn and it won't go away.

    InDesign is up-to-date

My PC is Windows 7, 64 bit, 16 GB Ram, 240 GB SSD and 4 TB of storage.

Using Indesign since it replaced PageMaker way back when

Hi, yes I can confirm that it is due to copying items to another InDesign file.

Not really a problem as it is a bug in InDesign, but here is the workaround:

    • If you have copied elements of another InDesign file, open the old folder and look at all the temp files appearing while you have the wheel (you may need to 'show hidden files' in Solution Explorer folder options.) If a temporary file keeps appearing and disappearing in this folder, which is the culprit.
    • So rename the old folder (use an underscore or similar). Then, indesign will not be able to refer to the old folder and create these odd temporary files.
    • If you copy any form elements more other InDesign files, you must rename those files (or rename this folder once again), but do not change the name of the original name because it will start to slow down again in InDesign.

Hope that make sense... otherwise, I could probably do a little YouTube video of the bug and work around.

  • crash when moving objects

    Hey there,

illustrator, After effects and indesign started crashing when I move objects. After that I restarted it's OK for a while, and then it starts crashing again. I read all the previous threads on this crash when moving issue, but none of the solutions seem to work.

Using indesign and illustrator CC 2014 on Mac os x 10.10.1.

    any suggestions?

    Thank you!

I found a solution that works, at least for me. I stopped using Chrome and since the problem disappeared. Something about her was causing programs to crash.
