• Problems with games under Windows 7

  Someone knows a problem to start Freecell or Solitare under Windows 7? First of all, I fell into it when I bought a new computer (HP Pavilion Elite). When you play games the screen starts blinking annoying way when the mouse is turned on. I returned the computer at Best Buy and the Geek Squad confirmed my problem using their mouse and the monitor. They exchanged the computer for a computer to identicle who then developed similar problems. This was again confirmed by the Geek Squad. They exchanged this computer for an Asus CG series which now shows similar problems in slightly less (though still annoying). If these simple games wasn't buying intention, they revealed a problem that appears to me as being caused by Windows 7. I had years of experience with these games under Windows Vista with no problems at all.

  I recommend you to update the display adapter drivers and see if it makes a difference. You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps. 
   
  1. open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  2. in Device Manager, locate the graphics card and then double-click the device name.
  3. click Driver tab, then click on uninstall the driver and follow the instructions.
   
  Restart the computer and let the computer install the generic drivers.
   
  Now, try to follow the link provided to update a hardware driver that is not working properly and check the question below.

  Here are some tips that I wrote on Vista and Windows updates.

  It also applies to Windows 7.

  Microsoft gives sometimes you updates for the 3rd party hardware: graphics, network cards, etc.

  You should only get the latest drivers for them to real hardware manufacturer's website, as Microsoft normally does nor those have the most recent drivers available as Microsoft relies of the 3rd party hardware Manufactuer to provide.

  But unfortunately, the only way to know which is the update of the problem is to install them one by one, until you find the "bad" for your configuration, unless you read the information on the number of special KB and what it is for.

  You can do a system restore to get back until it has been installed (which is NOT the best way to remove an update) or follow this method:

  I use Blacberry Curve 9300, couple days ago I couldn't send all messages through my blackberry messaging, then I checked the blackberry app world and noticed that there is an update for my blackberry (OS 7 v.7.0.0.126) messenger, so I thought that the problem was because I needed to update my blackberry Messenger , and then I have updated.

  At first it was OK, I had no problem, then as of last night, I could not deliver all messages at all (it was just Checklist), but I could received a message that was sent by my contacts and groups, also, I could see the latest updates. The only problem is that I couldn't send messages to any contact. At first it was because of my provider (IND TELKOMSEL), but some of my friends who use the same ISP is so very well.

  Because of the OS 7 I have installed? No idea how to fix? Or I can the downgrade in the last suitable OS 6?

  Usually these updates are pushed to our carrier, but no BlackBerry World, but still I don't think she'll push for BlackBerry® Curve 9300 OS7, please try these simple steps and downgrade your device to OS6 OS7:

  1. locate your carrier and download the operating system you want to leave here carriers

  3. download and install the latest version of BlackBerry desktop by BlackBerry desktop software software

  • Then using software office perform your full backup of your device.

  • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

  5. use BBSAK from http://bbsak.org/ and wipe the unit then after you get the error 507 (without OS), then proceed to the next step.

  6. Finally, go into C:\Program Files Research In Motion\AppLoader. (For Vista or Windows 7 64-bit, the path will be C: > Program Files x 86 > common files > Research In Motion > AppLoader) double-click on Loader.exe.

  Upgrade will continue then after Installation of the new OS restore your BlackBerry Desktop backup

• Problem of printer under windows 7

  I use a HP Officejet J4680 all-in-one printer.  In recent days, a problem started.  Impressions printing most of the documents ok but spit paper print until the last couple of inches and an error in printing.  I tried the miracle which does not detect any problems.  I tried updates and all are installed ok.  There is no printer driver updates available.  I don't think that there is nothing physically wrong with the printer because it prints the page alignment ok all the way to the bottom of the page.  Can anyone help?

  Not only that, but when I open freshly Word Pad - a list of recent Documents (in the menu option extreme top left (that I had used to open with) is inexplicably empty, but it will display all of my saved documents previously (on the right side).    Another method, that I've used to access documents in Word Pad was to click on my icon in taskbar (where I pinned the little icon to access Word Pad), but the list of my previous documents is therefore more in the field of small options which is the opposite, I used to be able to access my Word Pad documents recorded directly. The list is gone.
  So when I click on one of the documents stored in the document library list, that he does not attend the Word Pad at all, but rather, the unwanted app appears in front of the document library, list of blocking and cannot be deleted.  Only when I go out the document library he disappears with the window of the document library itself.

• Drag and Drop problem - the photo under the cursor of the mouse is too large

  I guess it's supposed to be an improvement, but the new version of Win 7 HPE produced an overview under the mouse cursor of the moved files from one place to another. It often causes the files end up in the wrong place [the wrist action is not like flying like 20 years ago]. Maybe I'm missing something that would cure it, but have not yet found.

• First 12 items, problem installing & running under windows 10.

  First 12 elements suite works well when I upgraded to windows 7 to 10.  Having started with a fresh install of Windows 10 I can't get the first of 12 items to install and run.  Through the installation to the extent of the screen "sign necessary" after which the 'loading exporter AVI.pm"appeared and it became so insensitive.  When you try to run the Premiere Elements subsequently the "Organizer" seems to work but the video editor does not meet the 'New project' or 'existing project.  I had the same result with the copy on the CD and the last Premiere Elements downloaded from the Web site.  Someone at - it ideas?

  After further investigation, I have established that it is a problem with the Codecs so I'll search the forum by the way.

• .png transparency problem with the underlying layer control

  I have an opaque orange rectangle with a clear square cut uneven in it through which I display a slideshow (slide show Image Spry) and it works fine except that I can't control the slide show with my cursor. I can control the slide show very well when it is above the rectangle, but I want the cutting action as a frame on the top of the slide show.

  Transparency is the .png, similar to a sheet of glass? If so I can access the controller somehow through the "glass" with some added code?

  You cannot place a 'sex' on the slideshow, as this 'layer', (what is an ap div?) then "will be the focus" above the slideshow and anything under this, (the slide show controls) will be selectable.

  You can program your own events in javascript handlers to control the slide show, but it will require you to have a reasonable understanding of javascript programming.

  I can't using mozilla firefox in my laptop windows 8.1 as a desktop browser. Whenever I visit a Web site, it opens as a mobile browser. It happens with all the websites I've tried so far.   I try to install the pack of niTuner for windows 7 x 64 bit but the list feature is not no matter which component and seems completely free.

  NOR-TUNER is based on traditional DAQ and as such is not supported on 64-bit operating system. You should be able to program your devices with the niRFSA driver. Yes, for the 64-bit port, you will need to modify your application. Fortunately, C niRFSA support is much better that what you had to do before, i.e. the program frequency step-down converter and the digitizer IF separately.

• Problem with the color of background under Firefox

  On my web site, I put a color #FFFFEE to the bottom of the body.
  Then I have a div (box 2) that contains the text of the page; the background is white (#FFFFFF).
  On some screens, I display a list of records, the length of this list is variable.
  In IE, the background is always white; No problem.
  But under Firefox, when the list is short down takes the body background color (#FFFFEE).
