  You need Adobe raw camera 8.7 version. Unfortunately your software is earlier than the camera. ACR 8.7 is only compatible with PSE13. But it is possible to download and install the free DNG Converter to convert your raw files to the universal Raw format files and Adobe will be open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the software of the camera factory)

  Not only PSE13 an update can use the ACR 8.7 necessary plugin. (Version 8.7.1 is expected soon, but not necessary).

• Unable to process several files on one of the three catalogs

  After having adjusted to get my catalogs in order, what I did, I encountered another problem. I have three catalogues one for people, one for things and I give the floor to work where I try which is new to me, so I do not ruin my main catalogues.

  I straightened the files in my catalog of things. I have a category which contains images of the pages of the book of autographs from the end of the 1800s. These analyses were conducted in JPEG some time ago. I tried to use several treatment to change these 55 images in psd in the original file to be consistent with the rest of the catalogue. Whenever the process fails.

  In order to see what could be the problem I have copied the file category in two of my other catalogs and were able to process the file category itself as a psd. I also created another small file in the catalog of things and tried to convert and had the same result. The box of warning information that appears when the copy in the same file indicates that the original files will be overwritten. Psd files do not overwrite the jpg files. They are added to the original file. Maybe it's the way it is supposed to be. This isn't a real problem.

  The real question is why I can't deal with multiple files in the original catalogue. I looked at the file of errors and, although I don't know a lot about most of it, I found the following in the first part of the file.

  Exception crash = "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION.

  I run XP SP3 and PSE 8. I am a user who has administrator rights. I don't find any mention of an authorization filter in the PSE 8 program.

  I'm stuck until I solve this problem and I need help is done. Any suggestion or information will be greatly appreciated.

  One thing to try: instead of using 'treat multiple files', you can use the 'export' function in the Organizer to export JPEG images in this category to the psd format into a new folder?

  Because my Photoshop Elements 7 (previously 5 and 1, 3) catalog has survived several computers, I "restored" the catalog several times. When I did, I wanted to keep my photo file structure, so I chose this option in the restore. However, instead of restore on the C: drive, I restored it to C/Users/me/Pictures...so you probably know the situation. My photo files are now in c:\Users[user-name]\Music\iTunes\iTunes/moi/photos/utilisateurs/moi/photos/utilisateurs/moi/photos/MyAlbum / [various records]. It's ugly and a pain to deal with. Is it possible to move the source files of:

  C:\Users[user-name]\Music\iTunes\iTunes/Moi/photos/Utilisateurs/Moi/photos/Utilisateurs/Moi/photos/MyAlbum / [issues]

  TO

  C: users/me/images / [issues]

  I know I can do this pic at a time within the PES, but I can do something like a lot while "issues" with names that indicate the dates and topics? At this point, I can't simply backup and restoration at the level C: because evil is done! The structure of the file is already deep 11 + records!

  In the Organizer, go to view > display the location of the folder, where you can move entire folders (and their subfolders) by drag-and - drop in the left pane.  Drag the folder:

  C:/users/me/photos/users/me/photos/users/me/photos/MyAlbum

  in the folder:

  C:/users/me/images /.

  It will shorten the path of the folder to:

  C:/users/me/photos/MyAlbum

  Hi, I bought a Wacom Intuos and it came with the software provided. Download of Photoshop kept in check the end (1000 MB + off 1012 mb!) and then when he finally said he had successfully downloaded, I get this error message when you try to extract the contents of the folder:

  You open the image directly from iPhoto? Right-click and choose Edit in > Photoshop elements Editor

  This link is old, but gives information on the tray upward. Respect to the PSE11, but the principle remains the same. In iPhoto prefs you access at the request of the editor in the support files folder. Start from the Finder by holding the Alt (Optn key) key and choosing the library.

  I found on another thread, a link to a plugin, but allows me only to load tga and saving, it would give me an error message.

  The format is no longer supported, but if you have an older version of elements, you can copy the file targa.8BI to import / export folder from the old version in the folder corresponding to the new version (worked for me from PSE6 to PSE12 - Windows 7).
