You must set up within WinAmp to tell where and how files are saved.  While your device is plugged in, it is: Options > Preferences > media library > phones > the drive letter of your device > Advanced tab.

In the Advanced section, the upper space is called "filename Format".  You can change the path and the naming scheme.  By default Winamp puts the files in the root directory, so if you change the string to include the MUSIC folder, your files will go to the right place.

Note: If you are not too familiar with Winamp, you need to include <> in your channel to designate a folder.  More information on the Winamp site

  • can not sync music to any memory card in Windows Media Player due to the error Windows encountered a problem when synchronizing the file to the device.

Original title: can not sync music to any Windows Media Player memory card

This has not happened before, but now, whenever I want to sync music to any memory card, it does not work. It makes the whole process, and it did as it syncs, but at the end of that music just does not appear in the memory card. If I go to the status of the synchronization, all songs appear with a RED x next and it says that Windows has encountered a problem during the synchronization of the file to the device. How can I fix it? as I said before, this has not happened before.

  • problem syncing iPod touch with iTunes

Hi, I had a problem syncing my iPod touch with iTunes. I get a message indicating that there is not enough free space to hold items in the iTunes library, which indicates that I need about 43 GB.

I tried to take as much data on my laptop thinking it would make more space available to my iTunes library which is held on my laptop.

I had a problem some time with the storage of data files and program files. I divide the hard drive and I have a Macintosh HD 2, but also a main drive of the HD. I find that I have an iTunes library in two HD players, so I think I have a duplicate library.

My iTunes app shows that I have a size of music library of-33,40 GB containing elements of 6940. My iPod touch has 6920 songs and 33 videos, 15 photos, 14 applications. The ability of the iPod touch is 56.4 GB, with 2.8 GB available.

If the problem is the duplication of library, can I remove in double track of the HD2, and how to change tp parameters to stop duplication.

Duplication of audio content seems to be a concern for you. If you have a desktop Mac, open iTunes/library/display the duplicate items. You can view and edit tracks easily.

If you do not have a Mac desktop computer, the question is a bit tricky; There is no way to detect mp3 duplicates except manually.

The good news is that the majority of your data bloat is likely to be in the 33 videos. I could most of the videos of archives and see what happens. (I have banned all THE videos of my iPod Touch and I couldn't believe how much I got space).

iTunes can't sync music only after that I have change my ID?

    Hi there Mehta_pooja90,

    Welcome to Apple Support communities.

As I understand it, there is a problem syncing of music on your iPhone from iTunes on your PC after changing your Apple ID in iTunes.

Can you still play the songs that aren't able to sync in iTunes on your PC? If iTunes is not allowed to play the tracks, then you will not be able to synchronize the songs to your device. Try allowing the computer with the account that was used to buy the pieces as shown here:

The article below provides a lot of information on what to do after changing your Apple ID.

  • Unable to sync music using Windows Media Center and Windows Media Player will not open

Media Center will not sync music!

I recently opened Media Center and I had no music in the library. I have constantly played music from the library so I didn't know what is happening. When I try installing the library again once it tells me that a necessary component for Windows Media Center is not available. I have not changed or downloaded something different. I went to check if Windows media Player is the multimedia file sharing. The message I get from that is, basically, that something is missing.  Now my Windows Media Player is not even opened. I wonder if my Zune Player (80 GB) has nothing to do with the problem. I charge my player when this has happened, but I do this all the time so I am at a loss. I went to the page "problem reports and Solution." It is the symbol of the Media Center window and says that the problem is caused by Windows. The solution is to update to windows; which I am fully updated. I tried to restore the system to an earlier date, but that doesn't work anymore. I'm at a loss to know what being of any help would be appreciated.

As a side note video playback, TV and photos also works very well in Media Center.

    Thank you

    Shay

    Thank you, Shay

    Hi Shay,

You can try the following steps and check the result:

Step 1: Run the sfc scan to repair system files missing and corrupt.

    a. Click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right click Guest and then click Run as administrator.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

    b. type the following command and press ENTER: sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

For more information, visit this link:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

If the problem persists, try the reconstruction of the library:

Step 2: Library rebuild Windows media player.

This problem can also occur if the library is corrupted. Rebuild the library and check if this solves the problem.

    Follow these steps:

    1. exit Windows Media Player.

    2. click on start, run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player, and then click OK.

    3. Select all the files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.

Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    4. restart Windows Media Player.

Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. exit Windows Media Player.

    2. click on start, run, type % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft, and then click OK.

    3. Select the Media Player folder, and then click on Delete on the file menu.

    4. restart Windows Media Player.

  • Attempt to sync music error - could not get the device certificate - C00D11E3

    Original title: C00D11E3

I tried to sync music from my laptop to my brand new Sony Walkman NWZ - B153 MP3 player, but I got was a full load of a red cross on the left side of the lines of track information.

"When I left clicked on one of the crosses, he said," cannot get the certificate of the device "whatever that means, more the C00D11E3 error code.

I got a Sony's MP3 player before and I could download music o problem. So, why the problem with this brand new?

    Garry

    Hi Garry,

    (1) how you try to synchronize?

    (2) using any software provided by the manufacturer of the device to synchronize?

Since you were able to synchronize your old MP3 player (from the same manufacturer) on the same computer, there will be some settings in the new MP3 player.

Cannot get the device certificate, can indicate that the device is locked by the manufacturer.

You can check with Sony to known problems

  • Problem syncing with iPod Nano

I have an iPod nano 3rd generation. He stopped properly syncing with iTunes. I have the latest version of ITunes and Windows 10. It is always synchronized automatically before. The computer recognizes the iPod and it's synchronization on iPod, but not on the computer screen. None of the songs I bought on iTunes since it began have been added to my iPod. I also noticed that new Playlists, I added to iTunes also syncs.  Maybe it's the same cause.  I appreciate your help. I'm nervous about what he is going to erase my iPod and then Resync.  I don't want to end up with nothing on my iPod!  I spent hours trying to understand, without a bit of luck. Thanks a lot for your help!

One thing to check is the parameter to sync music on settings of music from the iPod screen.  Here is a screenshot showing the screen.

Perhaps the box sync music got disabled for some reason any.  If it is not checked, the iPod is currently set to manually manage the music.  It will always 'sync' when it is connected, but the content does not sync automatically. However, existing content on the iPod.

NOTE: If you change this setting (and apply) Sync music is currently not checked, all the songs on the iPod that are not in your iTunes library will be lost.

Friends of music somehow got synced my phone. Never, I plugged my phone into his cell phone, so this is very strange. Now when I try to sync music from my laptop to iTunes on my iPhone, as I have done a million times before, it will not be synchronized. Cannot sync music from computor to ipod

Does this mean that you can not synchronize the songs because the iPod does not appear in iTunes when connected?  Or it does not appear in iTunes, but it does not synchronize your songs?
