I've lost countless blank DVDs not to mention hours and hours of time... and I'm so frustrated... First of all a question... did you you save the project in a video such as format
. WMV or. MP4? Or have you just of WLMP project folder?

I suspect that DVD Maker is to see your movie in one file
and he has no idea where are your scenes. More than likely it is
creation of scenes on his own in arbitrary places.

In order for DVD Maker correctly, identify individual scenes
each stage must be registered as an individual video clip, then
the collection of video clips can be imported and each of them must
become an individual scene.  DVD Maker is supposed to accept
    up to 18 scenes.

Just an experience you can import your new original
video clips in DVD Maker and see if it works properly. If
It does what you want... change and re-record your clips one video
    both will be the fix.

    Good luck...

  • Problem with Windows Live Movie Maker

I created a movie, 30 minutes in length, using Windows Live Movie Maker.  The film will be a gift to a member of the family for Christmas... in 3 days!  I can't, however, when in the final stage to choose the style of the menu, select specific points in the film that I would be the beginning of a new "chapter".  How can you do this?  At the present time, it selects just parts at random the film as a new chapter.  Help, please!

First of all, I have to ask what is the Format (extension) of your
saved file. If the extension WLMP... it's a project file
and not a video file. If you have saved it as a video in the
. Format WMV Movie... the following information may be useful:

If the file size is too large for e-mail... you could download
the file to a site as follows and then send it
link to download to your recipients.

    "SendSpace.
    http://www.sendspace.com/

It's very simple on SendSpace site the following...
the steps are all you need to do.

On the left, click on the Browse button and it will open a window
allows you to access the files on your hard drive.

Navigate to the folder that your video is and select it.

On the left, click on the download button.

When the download link appears... left click copy
button, then click right and paste the link in an email
    message to your recipients.

Recipients can download the video file as follows.

On the left, click the link in the e-mail message.

    When the SendSpace site load.

Scroll down a little and left, click on the blue text *.

"Click here to start the download from sendspace".

Save the file to your desktop and view in Windows Media Player.

. MSWMM is not a video file... it's a project file

Or is it just a movie maker project file .mswmm?

A Movie Maker-.mswmm project file does not include the

    =========================================
I was wondering what version of Windows are you using? XP, Vista, 7

Sorry... but with the .mov files, the conversion is the only solution.

Here is a way to convert online so that you won't have to
    Download and install a software:

Try the following free online Converter:

    Media-Convert
    http://media-convert.com/

    Apple Quicktime conversion instructions

    (1) in the field "File"... click on "Browse".
button and navigate to the .mov file you
you want to convert. When you select the
file... the path will appear in the field "File".

    (2) the "Input format" field should automatically
show... Let it 'Apple Quicktime (.mov)'
    as it is...

    (3) "output size" has two windows...
does not display the field on the left, "no video".
    PRESET"... leave it as what...

    (4) in the next to move to the right window
You can choose the format you want
    convert... try:

    Windows Media Video (.wmv)

    (5) on the left, click on the blue * OK button.
(sometimes the site is busy... If the conversion fails... try again)

Now... wait as the file to be converted.
    (be patient)

Once the conversion is completed, you will see:

    File converted successfully!

Your file will appear right of a little green
... left click on the file name... save it as
... appears on the left, click on the "Save" button.
Choose a folder to save in (I always download)
on my desk)... on the left, click on the "Save" button.

When the file is downloaded, you should be able
to play with Windows Media Player and it should
    be compatible with Movie maker.

    That's all! Good luck.
