Problem: Wifi connect problem

I'll send this to a friend. Please respond to HER email: * address email is removed from the privacy *. It can access through the pub. lib. System.

I am helping with his newly acquired laptop.

It's a Dell Latitude D620. It has a clean copy and cool XP we just loaded. (The sealed disk package did not Auth.Code on it, when we get the web running, he will contact MS to help purchase one. "There are 24 days left).

We have matching Inet Options all along the line between this OS XP and a Toshiba Win7 OS and we cannot not always connect to the wifi network public library.  With the help of Assistant, we can identify the Wifi, but something prevents the starting page of the library of loading.  The signal strength is indicated as 'high' and 'good '.

Any idea what is the problem?  that is, why can we not finish the connection and put on the web of this Dell Latitude?  Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.

I have a problem with my laptop - whenever I have it plug in to recharge after 10 minutes my Wifi connection goes down, it can detect my wifi network but cannot connect. • DX2 - suddenly affected by problems of WIFI connectivity

Suddenly, I have WIFI connectivity problems on my DX2. The phone previously connected without any problem to my router which is secured by WPA/WPA2 PSK.

What is happening is this: the phone scans all the available wifi networks, search my router and trying to connect to it for about 10 seconds. then quit and re - start the search. While he tries (unsuccessfully) to connect to my router, it reads 'obtaining IP address. "

I'm on Android 2.3.3. and really doesn't have this problem right after the Gingerbread update.

    Thoughts are appreciated.

Problem solved. Turns, the fix was as easy as re-booting of the wireless router, but I didn't go to this subject until my wife started to complain that she can't go on the internet with her laptop.

    (1) try disabling and enabling the other than restart the pc connection...

    (2) next remove the wify network connection profile and attempt to add the new retyping your password...

    (3) check the whetehr that the internet is here and have a dns issue...

Open a cmd and type ping 8.8.8.8
If it gives ttl which means that you encounter connectivity and may have a dns issue

    on the other
Check if your ip address is properly assigned... sometimes if you have an IP defined manually in a different range, another the wify router this might happen... just turn to take parameters ip dhcp ip address of your pc...

  • Iconia A1-830 has a Wifi connection problem when 3-5 meters

I bought Asher Iconia A1-830 at BestBuy and after 10 days, I discovered the Wifi connection problem. If you stay near router (1-3 meters) the WiFi signal is good (not excellent). If I go into another room - Wifi connection is poor or disabled. I changed it to another (same model). The second model is perfect only 1.5 months and now she has the same problem with wifi connection. Can someone help me? Maybe the problem in my router, but why it worked 1.5 months?

Yesterday, I received my return of repair Acer Iconia. They wrote the reason of the problem: reconnected hold of WiFi to the motherboard. It now works like new!

  • Deskjet wifi connection problems

I have a Deskjet 3050 printer all-in-one j610 series. Laptop is a Mac, OS Maverick. Installed printing and software Mac software. Router Philips. My adsl connection is down a couple of days and the ISP guy made me change a number of settings on the router (type of connection between PPPoA and PPPoE, password etc.). The internet connection is running now, but since I was not able to connect my printer to the wireless network. The USB connection works fine.

I have browsed this forum and tried a number of solution, but not worked.

    The problem is:

Maverick doesn't have a complete software for the printer, so the solutions for the use of the configuration of the printer software are not applicable.

If I press the button on the printer control panel wifi I do not receive a list of available wifi networks. The only options I get on the printer control panel are: toggle the WSP, Predifined woman. Woman is turned on and if I print a report, he says that wifi is enabled but not connected. If I press WSP, it gives me the opportunity to use the WSP button on the router (which is not my router), or code PIN WSP (which I do not know where to enter it... no solution found on the internet). If I press Predifined, nothing happens.

One of the solutions that I proposed was to select the device to print (from the list of wifi devices) on the laptop, then open Safari and press the Hello tag and enter the printer configuration page, as I did. The wifi connection is established as sson of bus that I leave this page and select the wireless again, the conecction of wifi is lost and the blue light flashes again.

    Any help?

    Thak you

    Hello

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you have recently had need to change setting of your router, it launched the printer on the network. Generally, in order to reconnect the printer to the network, the software is required. Your Mac with no HP software available, you will need to return to the printer configuration page you mentioned by connecting the mac to the printer and by opening the page in Safari.

This is the page you are referencing?

If so, click the network tab. From there, select the Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the steps to connect to the network.

Let me know if this helped.

  • Why my ipad loses the wifi connection when I abandon my modem wireless of Qwest

Why my ipad loses the wifi connection when I abandon my modem wireless of Qwest

WiFi connections are losing their strength increases the distance between the router and so as a general rule, there are some conflicting objects

    Try the following steps please

The following actions and after each test to see if the issue is resolved - if yes, then you can omit the following steps - I tried to list them in ascending order of the effort at least on a Mac and / or an iDevice

    1. Check if the problem is related to a single device and if other devices connect normally-
    2. If the answer 1 is 'yes' - try to connect the device assigned to somewhere else if possible - coffee or the University
    3. Perform a forced - restart cela do not delete or purge all data and allows to solve many problems - here is how - press and hold the Off / On Home button and at the same time for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Allow normal startup upward.
    4. Settings - WiFi - < network name > - Click on forget network - do a restart forced according to 3 and then add again the network
    5. If home - reboot the router by unplugging it for 60 seconds (power) and the plug and reconnect - obviously, this step can be done in a public place like a cafe or airport or University. While you're there - make sure your router is working on the latest firmware (check manufacturer's website)
    6. Settings - general - reset - Reset network settings - remember to have very practical WiFi passwords because it erases the WiFi passwords
    7. If it is a new specific net device in your home - make sure that the router gives enough DNS for all numbers which must / wants a connection - stuff like the printer, Chromecast get overlooked - ask for more details on this so not sure option
    8. Backup the device to iTunes - restore as NEW (no) - see if solves problem - if yes - restore backup
    9. An appointment of 'Genius' to an Apple Store, or select another authorized service provider.
  • WiFi connectivity weird when I plug in the USB Flash drive?

I found this WiFi connection problem a few days ago, when I plugged a USB Flash drive in "USB port right side' of my MacBook Pro.

Every time when USB , WiFi won't work - the connection is lost and can not connect to any hotspot even turn the WiFi market.

I found more weird, ONLY this brand and model key USB could be the abnormal Mac WiFi.

This problem will not happen to another USB port even I put the Flash drive in the left side, USB port, weird isn't?

Conclusion, this flash drive cannot be used with USB port on the RIGHT side, another USB port works fine. If WiFi don't work.

All other USB devices I've owned are working very well on the USB ports on the right or left side.

Could Apple support or any helps me to understand why this happen?

PS. I had the Apple's Diagnostics and received a message "no problem found".

PS #2. Right - same USB port side and next to the HDMI port on MacBook Pro 13 "model 2015" (snack for someone who confuse average left or right)
