    Hello

I have problems with burning double-layer DVDs in Encore.  I noticed another recent post - I don't know if this is the case http://forums.adobe.com/thread/827366?tstart=0.  Before you start buying and replacement of equipment, I thought I'd get tips here.

The problem - my first burn contained several places where the video pauses when played on a DVD player.  To determine that the DVD drive is not faulty, I then played the disc in the DVD of PC burner and encountered the same problems.  I burned another disc of in yet and most of the problems have disappeared.  There are still places where to get a break.  It is likely that the DVD burner is unreliable or dying, or is there something a pc or a point of view that I should try?

    Some info:

The original material was made in PrPro CS 5 without rendering quality max and without depth max.  CS 5, it is imported with the rate of 9.4 and transcoded with quality = high quality 7MB VBR 2 Pass and av NTSC setting flow max = 9.4mbps, rendering quality max, and and the mpeg-2 codec.

    Hardware - Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 1066 DDR2 RAM E6700, Nvidia GTX 480 with MPE hack,

DVD burner - Plextor PX - 755 has.

    OS - Win 7/64

    Additional notes:

I need to burn DL disks by starting again with admin rights.

The problem does not occur with dvd discs single layer.

    Thank you

    Steve

I always use again to create an ISO on my data disc and then use the FREE

In Imgburn, I check the slowest possible speed burn and to DL, I always use Verbatim

    Never a problem

  • Satellite P30 turn off - also problems with burning DVDs

    Hi Please help me.
I had a row with my brother and it won't help.

My Pc is only a year old and it turns off. I would say it was because of overheating, but he just did and it isn't really that hot.
I put on the books, not on my knees, keep him away heat, crash back to the desktop.
It makes me crazy, please, any help or advice or anything like that would be a great help.

I also have problems with my dvd burner, always, he gets to about 17% and said that there is a mistake, thought it was the discs but surely it can be all 100 of them, I tried turning on and off but no use.
Also the advice would be great!

Please help a girl in need of a working Pc! Who does not know a lot of technical stuff!

    Hello

Overheating problems usually occur because the cooling module cannot work properly.
Fans are unable to work because of the dirt and dust inside the laptop.
The best way to clear the fans is to use the vacuum cleaner.

On the problems of DVD writer: well, it's not easy to say why it happens. Have you checked media dvd from different manufacturers? Many CD/DVD media works differently, and you should check it out.
In addition, there is a problem with the burning software. I put t know what application you're using, but you should try to use Nero. It's very nice software and I m very happy. Check it out

  • Problem with burning Audio files to a blank CD error "Windows Media Player encountered an error when burning. Check that the burner is connected properly and that the disc is clean and not damaged"

I recently burned music CD blank so I can enjoy some songs in the car. After that a few discs engraved with success, I received the message "Windows Media Player encountered an error when burning. Check that the burner is connected properly and that the disc is clean and not damaged"when trying to burn audio. To see if it was the m drive, I tried to burn audio files to four separate discs and each of them had the error message. The discs are brand new and have no information on them. • Problem with burning a DVD using the AVCHD format

I just finished on a video project of 19 minutes (photos and short video clips), and I was able to burn it to a DVD in standard quality with first Elements 10.  When I try to burn AVCHD, however, I get an error just until it's ready to start burning.  It encodes all media and all switches to the menu burn when the "error" appears.  There is no other explanation.  I also tried to burn to a folder and I get the same result.

I used the first items 10 for 4 years to do this same type of project, and I was able to burn on AVCHD successfully in the past.  Any ideas why it doesn't work anymore?

Specifications of the computer: desktop computer Dell Inspiron 3847, processor i5 12 GB of RAM, 1 TB hard drive w / 770 GB free.

    I appreciate all help.

A.T. - I finally thought to it.  After I had removed 3 of 4 songs and their respective video clips / photos in the problem project, I took a thorough review to the media with the rest one song left to see if there was something unique about.  As I mentioned earlier, I had all the different file types in the project problem included in the test project, and the test project had burned successfully to AVCHD.  After having scoured what was left of my files, I found a picture that I had used the effect of the "line of demarcation" (edit - effects - line drawing).  I decided to remove the effect to see what would happen.  Once I did, I was able to burn this new project to test a DVD AVCHD (a value of 1 only one song from the media).  I then made the same change to my complete project and then it worked.

Very frustrating, but I'm very happy that I found the culprit.  I note that I used a couple of the photo / video effects projects successfully, but never this 'dividing line' a before.  I would warn anyone against using it now!

In response to a recent question, I was not able to burn a folder when I had this problem either (4.7 GB).

Thanks again for your help.  I really appreciate that people are available to help solve the problems of this kind.

    Happy holidays!

  • Problems with burning DVDs

I recently recorded a live dance for producers show. I've edited the images in Windows Live Movie Maker and saved on my computer. The resulting film is 107 minutes. I have now this burn to discs for the performers and finds that one-third of the discs are useless because towards the end they freeze and start again, freeze and start again. Initially this has happened when I chose the option to burn another copy of this disc, but now it happens when I start a fresh burn. I use windows Vista Home Premium and standard Windows burning software.

Given the fact that a fresh burn lasts longer than the video (more than 2 hours) it's a very frustrating waste of time.

  • Satellite P200 - 10 c with a problem of burning in the CD/DVD burner

I have some problems with my DVD/CD-RW in my Toshiba P200 - 10 c (running Windows Vista Home Premium).

When I try to burn a CD (audio or data), the software I use (listed below) shows me the progress of burning of 0% to 100% and at the end said "complete engraving process" or something like that, but * when the CD comes out (after burning) *, if I look at his face I see that it is really burnt, because I can see the area where data has been burned. But the problem seems to * when I insert the CD into the computer *, the laser of the CD/DVD-RW drive starts reading and reading and so on... made strange noises and finally, after some time, * windows detect the CD as a void (empty) CD *. And if I try to burn the CD again, the logger simply burn again on the latest burned data and so forth, for the third time, the fourth time...

This problem only occurs when I try to burn a CD. If I try to burn a DVD, nothing is wrong, and the DVD is properly engraved.

    I already tried the following:

-Burn a CD with NERO (version 7): same problem
-Burn a CD with Toshiba CD creator: same problem
-Burn a CD with MagicISO: same problem

    -Update the drivers (value package)

-Try to play the CD in my computer (Toshiba laptop)
-Try to play the CD on another computer
-Try to play the CD in my audio player (with an audio CD and a MP3 data CD)
and in all cases, the laser becomes simply crazy, you try to read the CD I burned my Toshiba laptop.

    ----
I think (it's just what I think), the CD/DVD-RW burn the CD correctly, but do not burn the part of the disk called TOC (table of contents), I think. This is perhaps why the CD may not play in all devices... I think that devices cannot read anything at the beginning of the CD data
    ----

Please help me... I don't know who do more...
Need help... Anyone with the same problem?

    Hello

  • Satellite M40-237: I can not burn + R discs but no problem with CD r

My first attempt to burn DVDs on my laptop failed. I tried to burn some + R discs using Nero and some other programs like DVD Form(which is part of the laptop's original software), but without getting anywhere.

It's as if the computer does not recognize the discs. I have not had any problems burning CD - R. I know that my disk is multi-enregistreur, so it should work well with all kinds of CD and DVD.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello

I agree with the previous user of the forum. Sometimes, there is a problem with the media. Experiment with a few different media. I use TDK for a long time and I have never had any problems.

As far as I know your unit has Super multi drive and it should be able to manage with DVD + R/RW. By the way: who will drive you have (listed in the Device Manager)?

Hello world! The problem is basically just, he doesn't want to write/burn any cd/dvd brand more. He works wonders for little over a year and recently developed this problem. I'm sure that's not media brands I've tried with several. The problem with Nero, Alcohol120%, MagicISO, PowerISO, Burn4Free, regardless of what I am trying to burn data, audio, regular programs or images. Note that I am able to write with alcohol with success but there is in fact nothing on the CD and Nero burns the data also but fails to verify after the fact and gives an error. Writing on DVD R/RW is completely failed, creating coasters. Also the Player opens without reason and when he wants. I have laptop Toshiba A200 - 1 MB under original Vista Home Premium. Here's an error report, hopefully it'll help. Thanks and any assistance is much appreciated!

Try to remove the CD/DVD filters in the registry.
When the associated CD/DVD (such as iTunes, Nero, virtual CD software), the software is installed, they install filters in the registry, which can cause compatibility problems.

    (1) run Regedit (start-> Run-> Regedit)
    2) navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
    (3) in the right pane, delete the "UpperFilters" key and delete the key "LowerFilters".
    (4) restart.

If your CD/DVD programs stop working, you will need to reinstall them (preferably with an updated version).

This utility can remove the filters for you:

Also remove the dust on the lens with a clean Microfiber cloth.
