problem with dvd Panasonic Matshita UJ862A

I have a Matshita Panasonic UJ862A DVD +/-RW and when I use it to burn the ISO image I get the following:

========

Sense: 02 ASC: ASCQ 04:08 (00 command)
-------------------------------------------------------
PX.dll: 4.8.39.500
PxAFS.dll: 4.8.39.500
pxdrv.dll: 1.2.39.0
PxMas.dll: 4.8.39.500
PxSFS.dll: 4.8.39.500
PxWave.dll: 4.8.39.500
pxwma.dll: 1.0.0.3

Is this a problem with windows (Vista SP2 32 bit)?

I use Roxio Creator Version 9 to burn the ISO.

Hello

-Respect the limit with the specific ISO image?
-Do you have problems with burning other ISO images?
-Do you have any third-party burning software
-Did you do changes on the computer before this problem?
-You are able to burn the ISO image to a DVD disc using other burning software? If so, then the problem is with Roxio.

So, I suggest you to contact Roxio support for assistance.

Hope this information helps.

  • A very strange problem with DVD player (some DVD play not)

    Hello everyone.

I bought a laptop Dell Inspiron 3543 2 months ago. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, but I have a problem with the DVD player. When I insert some DVD discs, the driver reads some DVDs but not others. After trying to play DVDs, I see that the DVD player play about half of the DVD I'm looking for. Although I can guarantee, I didn't send my laptop to the service because I can't work even a day without my cell phone. So, in order to solve the problem, I bought a DVD player new, original Dell (the same model of dvd player, which is Panasonic Matshita DVD +-RW UJ8E2). Today I started using my new DVD player, but it also has the same problem as my old DVD drive or it also does not play some DVD.

To make the issue even more strange, here are some details:

-My dvd drives have no problem and I have tried many original DVDs (especially the original films). And all the dvd disks that do not play on my computer play on other computers with no problems. There is no problem with the disks.

-Certainly no problem with the "DVD region Code". I use original DVDs with region code 2, which is the area code for my country.

-All my drivers, the operating system and the dvd drive drivers are up to date. When I look at my DVD drive properties, it is written that "the dvd drive works properly.

-When I insert a DVD disc, if my DVD player he plays, he plays each time. But if my dvd player does not play a dvd, and then he never plays it. So, there is a consistency in the dvd disc set to play or not. When a DVD disc does not play, my DVD player rolls the drive some time and then the DVD done pretending as if there is no disc in the drive.

-Both my old and newly purchased DVD drives have exactly the same problem, so I think that there's no problem like a lens dirty. I also think that there is no mechanical problem with one of my DVD drives because my newly purchased, original DVD player also has the same problem.

I thank everyone for any help or advice in advance.

Today, I received my dvd player third, new, Chinese, not original from a seller of spare part. He plays all DVDs with no problems. :)

If in the future someone always has the same problem as me and read this Web page to find a solution, you know where is the problem.

  • Problems with DVD/CD-RW on Satellite Pro M series

After searching the Forum questions / answers, it seems that many users have problems with the carpet * a 841 s UJ which is equipped with several types of Toshiba portable computers and I wonder why someone from Toshiba has not been able to intervene and to produce a final solution.

In my case, I can not format a CD - RW or a DVD + RW because the message "D:\ is not accessible" and also "incorrect function".

If DLA is selected in properties, can be as much as to be shown to a format selection window, but "Format failed due to general failure" happens.

Toshiba installation CD will work OK (I did this several times after losing data on the hard drive) but the writing seems to be beyond the capacity of the disc.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

BTW, the deletion of "Upper and Lower Filters" registry that I have seen offered as a solution will not work because there is only one entry for low filter - no higher.

You try to format the two supports using Windows option or using an application like Nero?
I can't imagine that there is a serious problem with ODD. Test it with Nero. I'm sure it will work properly.

    Hello

I have the following problem: I recorded a DVD in different stages (multisession) with Nero 6, but I can read only the first session on my laptop (Windows 98SE). On the other hand, I have no problem with multisessions CD

Could you help me in this case?

    Thank you

    John

    Hello

I m not 100% sure, but I think that it s a problem with the burning software and/or the media. I found information there are many problems with playback of the files after burning the multisession DVD-R, + R (Win98SE). In my opinion, you should try to burn DVDs on media RW multisession.

  • Problems with DVD/CD material

    Hello

Thought I'd start here and go from there... my wife has a laptop computer that has problems with the DVD/CD player and unable to operate, despite attempts on and off the internet... hours thinking maybe there is a problem with the hardware itself... anyway... she used the player very little anyway and I was wondering what would be the best method of copying a cd bootable on a drive Flash and I can use the USB port to install any CD of this nature... a method that might work with all windows...

    Larry Wöller

A popular easy utility to use for making a bootable USB key is Rufus. It can also be done with some steps more natively.

If you don't want to address the problem of the laptop's optical drive, you can also consider getting an external drive.  For example, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136266

  • Problems with DVD + R DL disc in the optical drive T500

Hi - This is a W7 T500 running (2242CTO) / 64 - I downloaded the last Roxio Creator Business Edition and was able to burn a 4.5 GB file to a DVD + R DL disc using its function as data disc, no problem.   After burning, I closed Roxio and inserted the DVD into the player trying to read the content and after training, spun, I saw him briefly the [good] record label (in Windows Explorer), then the reader has become powered off State (Device Manager reports the drive has been "prepared to remove safely').   He turns to eject the tray or by right-clicking and selecting "lit.  It don't turn on even if I physically the disc to eject and reinsert.

Other formats, CD - R, CD - RW, DVD - R and DVD - RW seem to work well.

I have to reboot the machine to get the disc back and everything by restarting in this State, W7 is suspended in the shutdown process and I have to force a shutdown with the power button (I had no stop blocking otherwise).

BTW, the drive is a carpet * beep * a dvd - ram UJ862A, pb04 firmware revision.   I am actively info on this drive and this firmware, meanwhile if anyone has any ideas they would be more than welcome.   Thank you!

(PS: I tried to put "Mat * beep * one ' in the field 'Tags' of this message and got an error on the word's * t' is not allowed in this community!)

Suspect bad media - can read brand DVD + R DL but not generics I bought...  Case closed for now.

  • HP Envy 17 Laptop: problem with DVD/CD player

I recently bought a laptop HP Envy 17 refurbished to replace my laptop screen Acer of 18 ".

He had Win 8.1 on it I then upgraded to win 10.

Everything worked as it should, including the CD when he arrived, and after the upgrade.

As I was used to having 2 hard drives on my Acer and did not find a drive for the HP cable I used one of them to replace the DVD unit

    http://www.Amazon.com/SANOXY-Caddy-12-7mm-universal-DVD-ROM/DP/B0056EW4A4

    It worked perfectly.

I then found a drive cable of HP on eBay second hand and when it arrived I installed the second disc in the DVD player OK and re-installed hard drive Bay - although I expected to replace it later with the Hard Drive caddy so I might have 3 internal drives.

This is where the problem started.

Although the second disc showed now and available to use, the DVD player is no longer appears in the Explorer or in Device Manager, even if I remov the second car of the Bay.

Can someone suggest any way how to fix this problem?

    TIA

    UPDATE:

4th restart the laptop cured the problem and the DVD is now appear.

Yet once replaced caddy of DVD with a hard drive Caddy in his place and I have now 3 internal hard drives on my laptop.

    Well happy!

  • Compatibility problem with dvd/cd burner is a driver or hardware?

I have Toshiba A206 s5000 laptop with a DVD/CD-RW drive after a full format and restore. I'm not exactly sure how long after or if it was just after the installation started. The drive will read and write to some DVD. But when I take a cd insert the corresponding LED flashes for a short period before stay balanced. It does not make up the selection dialog box or start a program.

I was told that it is possibly a compatibility issue. If it is then in the disk hardware or drivers.

Curtis has always lost in the Code,

I found the answer to this Question and it is material. The dvd has a built in decoder and this work fast decoder interface. I replaced the drive and corrected the problem.
